ALSO WE HAVE NO REFUND, NO GLASS AND NO TEMPLATES. WE HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPS TO RESOLVE THIS WITH MATT TRYING TO CONTACT HIM VIA, MESSAGES, AND E-MAILS THAT HE HAS READ WITH NO CONTACT. WE WANT A REFUND OR OUR GLASS THAT WE PAID FOR AND DO NOT HAVE AND OUR TEMPLATES RETURNED. We have been using A Rite Glass since 1988 and recommended them to everyone, this year we dropped off templates for them to cut glass for a project. We paid in full and when we went to pick up the glass it was not cut to the templates that were provided for this job, after speaking with Audrey several times she said we signed off on not having a pattern (shop terms), we had no idea what a pattern was and thought it was a design in the glass, after Audrey explained that the pattern was the templates we were very confused why they were not used, after all they had the templates for this project from the very start. Instead of Audrey and owner Matthew Williams taking care of this miscommunication we were told by Audrey that they no longer will be business with us because they accused Wendy of being verbally abusive, rude and accused her of threatening the team (seems to be the owners go to) and that never happened. This is not the proper way to resolve this situation. We have made several attempts to contact the owner Matthew Williams with no response from the owner or Audrey and we have confirmation they read the e-mails we sent. We have asked for our templates and they claim they do not have them, Ryan said he saw them at the shop. We have no glass, no refund, no resolution, we have been ROBBED by this new company owner. Being a well-respected company ourselves it shows by the resent reviews that Matthew Williams does not care about his work or reputation in our community, all we want is resolution how can you take someone's money and give them nothing. Can I give them one star? After making an appointment to replace a piece of broken glass, no one showed up to do the job. When I tried to call them, I had to leave a voicemail and no one returned my call. I called the next day and they told me that unless I paid in full before doing any work, they would not schedule my job. I offered to meet the repair man there and pay him when the job was complete, but they would not except that either. I've owned a small business here in town for 20 years, and if I treated potential customers this way, I would surely be out of business. read more

This bus uses a bait and switch tactic. Once they convinced Us to go with them, the price increased and the product wasn't what we were quoted. They use industry lingo and talk down to their customer. I spoke with the boy Seth that they have managing and he seemed as disrespectful as someone could be. He obviously had no fear of have any face to face with me because people don't talk to one another like that when They're in person. The owner Matthew never returned my calls. This place is a joke. We got a quote from A-Rite for their clearest glass for our shower doors- we even went to the store and picked it out and make sure we said the clearest glass with no green tint, but they ordered the wrong glass. They claimed it was what we ordered, and said the quote would've said ultra clear instead of clear, so they refused to give us our money back. How would we have even known? We picked out the sample at the store! They also brought the wrong parts when they came out to install, so they started but they couldn't finish. After getting a revised quote, we found that My Shower Door was the same price, and way better quality and service, so we went with them. They had to remove the metal that A-Rite installed and cover up the holes. The manager Seth at A-Rite is ridiculous to deal with- he sounds like a young kid that has no idea how to talk to customers. Overall, a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend at all. read more

A-Rite provided us with a new sliding shower door for our master bath remodel. The people we worked with were friendly and responsive. The price was good and the door came about when they said it would. Upon inspection of the new door, we asked that a modification be made to the door stop on the header as well as pointing out some minor scratches on the header. A-Rite agreed to completely replace the header and make the modification at no charge. Most other companies would not have been so accommodating. The only reason we did not give them a 5 star rating was because of one service team that came to correct this issue and install the new header. The original installation team was competent, quick and clean. The second service team not only could not remove a screw needed to make the repair, but said the screw could not be removed without drilling it out. After working at the repair for 2 hours, they said they could not fix the issue, reassembled the door and left. They said the problem was caused by an improper initial installation. We contacted A-Rite about this situation and scheduled another service call. This time the original team came back and made the repair in about 20 minutes. They even noticed a scratch on one of the handles and ordered a replacement. A-Rite stood behind their product and service. We are now very happy with the final outcome. read more

I just had A-Rite install 2 shower doors on my home in Ft. Myers Beach. I can't say enough nice things about the service and the product they delivered. One door was what I perceived to be a difficult installation. They handled it with no problems and made me wish I had called them sooner to replace my old shower curtain enclosure. The staff both at the location and those that come to your home are polite and efficient. They deliver what they say in a very timely manner at a very reasonable price. I have used A-Rite for a number of projects --probably close to half a dozen. I was very impressed initially with their service, and their prices seemed fair. However, my opinion made a 180 degree turn with the last transaction which is why I gave them two stars. On the last occasion, I went to their showroom to order 5 pieces of glass, all to be cut to the same dimensions. Should be an easy job. There were two women behind the counter. One woman seemed nice and competent. Unfortunately the surly, know-nothing woman waited on me. I gave her the dimensions for the 5 pieces of glass and I'm not sure she even wrote them down. If she did, I know she did not read them back to me. She gave me no paperwork reflecting my order. When I left, I suspected there would be a problem. And, of course, I was right. All five pieces were wrong. The woman had been so unpleasant (like waiting on me was a huge effort) that I wanted nothing more to do with her. So I asked another glass company to trim A-Rite's mistakes. More about her attitude. I was explaining that I wanted to have some frameless shower doors installed and asked her about the examples in the showroom. She could not have been less forthcoming with information if she tried. She acted like I was trying to pry top secret information out if her. Very strange. Ok. I moved on. I asked her about installing large back painted glass panels on the shower walls. They are very expensive and I would have thought she would have been eager to help. Instead she told me she had never heard of such a thing and it couldn't be done. I told her I had seen it done but she refused to believe me. Finally the other woman spoke up and said "yes, people have that done." Thank you. Now can you give me some pricing, please? No, she couldn't. According to her I needed to talk to some lady "down the street" who specializes in decorative glass but she didn't know the woman's name. Finally the other woman spoke up and provided the name. But really? A glass and mirror company that can't provide panels of back painted glass. Crazy!!! So maybe if I am desperate, I will give them another try and hope for some competent help. But A-Rite is certainly not my first choice -- not by a long shot. read more

I hired a rite class co because I saw their reviews and thought this would be a good company to work with, I am from the Midwest and I've dealt with different glass companies, and initially when they installed a simple Shower door the job went well. However when I had them install panels in the master bathroom the job was done incorrectly the first time, second, and third time. I understand the walls aren't straight and they should have brought a piece of cardboard, make the template and have the glass made with the exact measurements. They installed the glass panels and left 1/4 inch gap making these panels look awful. They charged my cc with the job being incomplete with out letting me know. Thanks read more

They were at my home when they said they would be and gave me ideas as to what would look good. The mirror was completed quickly and they did a beautiful job. Gave them the size for the glass and they cut it wrong and would not take responsibility for there mistake. Told me I could have a second piece cut for 50% off. I even handed them the measurements.
