I called several companies, but DDJR offered me the best price; later on, while they were engaged in the work, I realized they knew what they were doing. They came two days after I contacted them; about 8am they were at my door asking if they were able to start. By 1pm they had removed all the junk, cleaned the garage floor and walls, loaded the junk in their truck, and I was ready to say goodbye forever to my junk. Matias, the owner, is a courteous, friendly yet professional guy that took his job seriously; the guy working with him followed his direction so there was no idle time for which I was charged. Several times I showed my face by the garage to find out how things were going and while Matias explained to me how the decloaking process was going, the other guy kept working. They brought the necessary equipment and utilized the time effectively. Additionally, I got a really good price. I certainly will not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to family, friends and others.

A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. Our experience with Alex was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We initially hired him to paint a stairwell, with a clear agreement that it would take about 3 hours and cost $180. Days later, the stairwell was still incomplete, and he suddenly claimed the job would cost over $600--over triple the original price. Instead of using a sprayer, he chose a small roller, which dragged out the work and added unnecessary time and expense. To make matters worse, Alex charged my elderly parents and additional $200 for an extremely poor-quality job. He spent three hours replacing a small piece of caulking around a sink, left it messy and incomplete, and walked off without even cleaning up, despite us asking him to. He even charged them an additional hour just for removing a few pieces of blue tape. This experience has left us feeling taken advantage of, and we're appalled by the lack of professionalism and respect. We strongly advise against hiring Alex, especially if you are looking for honesty, quality, or reliability. read more
