I hadn't left a review at the time because of how upsetting my experience was. I'll keep it short, my dog's nipple was cut and bleeding as if no guard was used on the clippers. I understand haircuts won't always be perfect, but her sanitary area was shaved too short and the overall cut was uneven. When I picked her up, I didn't see she was bleeding until I saw blood on her bed. After I notified the owner, she suggested that my dog did it to herself (even though she can't reach that nipple and she was wearing a cone when she got home) and then suggested that it looked like a hickey (extremely bizarre comment to make). I know my dog well and how well she does when she visits groomers. Every groomer before and after her visit at Going Mutts has always said she is well behaved and have no issues while cutting her hair. Anyway, Going Mutts ended up refunding me for the grooming which I appreciated.

We even tried the self serve spa and our dog Bailey never felt so soft. Her coat was glowing after we just came from the dog park. We're from out of town but we travel in and make this our stop every time. They have helped assist us with getting our dogs familiar with different foods with the samples we get. We get to see what our dogs like and don't like before we commit to it. You don't find that kind of service anywhere else, and it's really nice because it's all dog safe instead of trying to take it into your own hands of trying Google. His shoulder was hurting him. He was here for 3 min and told us the best option was to euthanize him because he was paralyzed. I told him you didn't even look at my dog. He went off on saying he has 36 years of experience and this and that. I asked him to just give him pain meds. Later that night my dog was walking around. It's just sad on how many people he made think that euthanizing their animal was the only option. He needs to go back to veterinary school because he lacks the knowledge. I wanted to add in a follow up on my review from Wednesday night. We had to put our family Dog…read moredown. We had a bad experience that night. I wanted to let people know that they did follow up with me with a very heart felt apology and did want to let us know that they were correcting the issue that happened. I also wanted to let you know that over the last 20 years they have always been nothing but professional toward us and very caring when we had to do this in the past. So I want to that them for the apology.

We had to take our little girl (4 year old cat) in to see the doc. She wasn't eating or drinking…read moreand was lethargic. Everyone was fantastic! We thought she had hurt a hind leg and was just in pain. Doctors did X-rays and blood work. X-rays were good but the blood work showed an infection along with a fever. Docs put her on fluids for her dehydration and gave her IV antibiotics. After a couple of days in the hospital her fever was down and her blood work looked closer to normal, but she still wouldn't eat. We went out on Saturday night and spent about an hour with her trying to calm her and get her to eat. When we got there she had a petrified look and was scared to death. We were able to talk to her and pet her but still couldn't get her to eat. Doc said she might not eat there because she was so scared. We left her one more night for the fluids and antibiotic IV and a recheck of her blood work on Sunday morning. Temp was down and blood work was close to normal so we brought her home. After checking out the backyard and house she and our other cats all relaxed. She's eating and drinking like crazy now and just demanding attention. Everyone at VCA was great! From the receptionists to the technicians and doctors! Thank you for the wonderful care our little girl got! You all are fantastic!!
