Linda is an exceptional poodle breeder. Twelve years ago, we wanted a red poodle and discovered her website, which featured the cutest puppies anyone could fall in love with. We contacted her and visited her to find a companion for a poodle mix we had adopted; we chose a male miniature poodle. He remains with us in excellent health and has the best temperament I've seen in a dog. Sadly, his sister passed away late last year, his lifelong companion. Experiencing severe separation anxiety and depression, we returned to Linda in December 2025 and adopted a female miniature poodle puppy. She is another wonderful dog with a fantastic temperament, getting along well with our neighborhood dogs. I don't understand the negative reviews about Linda's poodle business. She is an excellent breeder and definitely not involved in puppy mills. I highly recommend her and her puppies. Once our dear senior boy is no longer with us--hopefully in at least five years--we will definitely get another from her. read more

Just can't give the owner of Scarlets enough wonderful complements. Linda is so particular with the breeding process and so caring with all her dogs. My husband and I adopted two toy poodles 5 years ago from her and right from the start they were so sweet and loving. They bonded with us right away and us with them. We bought our apricot toy from here in January. He's got the best disposition. He's healthy, smart and very good looking. We have him clipped every 4 to 6 weeks in a short cut. We cannot tell you how many times people have stopped us to tell us how cute he is. He started out a dark apricot, but faded over time. The breeder warned us this would happen. Despite the fading, our dog is still uniquely beautiful. The process is a little strict, but the reward is well worth it. The breeder is very conscientious and wants to make sure her pups go to good homes. We took a tour of the facility and it was very clean. All the dogs were well cared for. And, the breeder is legit. In today's world, it's hard to find legitimate breeders of pure bred poodles. My cousin bought her dog from here and so did a neighbor we referred. Each one of us thinks we've got the best dog on earth. That should tell you something about the breeder. read more

Good luck purchasing a poodle from here if you don't 100% lie on your application, although I'm not sure that will suffice. Company makes their poodles exclusive with the application process. My application was declined because they, "only sell to very experienced previous dog owners"...and it seems this is the case despite how stable your income, housing, or time to dedicate to a new pup is. Don't waste your time with an application if you don't meet their unreasonably strict(and possibly arbitrary) mystery criteria. Also after further digging, other reviews on Yelp and Google state that this is a puppy mill that houses their pups in poor conditions. read more

We got a moyen poodle here that we love. But we consider him a rescue because when we went here to pick him up it was clear this is a puppy mill. Gross conditions, rabid unwanted poodles wandering around a dilapidated farm, owner is bizarre and rushed, puppies in cages. This is not a reputable breeder. read more

In the summer of 2023 we got a 5 month old mini-poodle here. Linda the owner spent an hour before approving us for adoption, and two hours when we picked up the dog. Linda has 20 years experience and loves her animals and gave us great advice. Our dog Carmela is very smart, perfect form, so lively. Also mellow since all her life she has been held and petted by a person daily. The charge was reasonable, and after 30 years of being poodle owners, we see Carmela as among the best dogs we've had. After reading the website and talking to Linda I was so excited to pick up the dog I purchased. I visited the property in Arroyo Grande. When you first enter the property there are 5 cages in the front that are about 10 by 15 feet and each had 10 adult dogs. The dogs were matted and dirty. There were also large cages in the back so make sure you ask to get a tour of the property! I asked to go to the bathroom and inside there were cages on top of each other (10 cages by 3 cages high). Many were rusted. A poor mama was in a middle one with her babies. She looked so sad. On the board in the main room she had a count of how many dogs she sold. Over 50 in 3 months! As much as I wanted the cute dog I decided I could not support a puppy mill so did not go forward with the purchase. I am very confused with the below review. At the end of the day, please visit the property yourself if you are interested in a dog from there. Make sure you ask to tour the home and the property. read more

My dog is cute and I'll love her forever, obsessively. But, I shouldn't have caved to the cuteness and purchased from here. The conditions these dogs live in are HORRIBLE and so sad. Too many dogs, outside with not enough space, on dirt in cages, exposed to the weather (it was 98 degrees and they had little to no shelter). There were probably 50 abused dogs visible, more outback barking, more in the house. Many dogs couldn't bark anymore. Linda is a monster and she'll talk to you like she's a savior. She also says creepy things. She asked about what race we both were and wouldn't drop it, and constantly kept saying how pretty I was which made me super uncomfortable. There was so little information about this place when I got my puppy, don't make the same mistake. read more
