AAA roofing was EXCELLENT and "as advertised." The price for a re-roof of my cabin and garage was 1/3 less than the other major roofer in SLT who was way over priced, not good business in my opinion. Chris was very straight forward with what they could do, he provided (3) price options and didn't try to push me in any direction. He also was extremely helpful when it came time to pic color. He drove us around to look at ccompleted projects so we could get an idea for color. Also, his team was curtious, the crew was fast and cleaned up everything, and the roof looks perfect. They even painted the flashing, trims, etc., to match. Chris worked with the electrician to make sure everything met code. I could not be happier with this major project. AAA Roofing did an outstanding job replacing our leaking roof. The staff- Chris, Oscar, Benjamin, and the entire crew were excellent in their customer relations, work skills, and integrity. At first, we were told they wouldn't be able to replace our roof until July, but when a commercial job requested a postponement, they bumped us up to the next day after we'd had them out for a quote. We were very impressed with their professional work ethic and their friendly, courteous demeanor. They valued us as more than just a job; they were genuinely concerned for our safety and well-being in getting the job done efficiently and speedily, as we were in need of interior drywall work at the same time. AAA Roofing replaced the roof on my cabin 4 years ago and I am still thrilled with the results! The owner has come back for a few visits when I had questions and check on my roof, with all being fine. Not only was it a quality job, the company obviously cares about their customer and their reputation. My flat roof is a challenge for Tahoe, and AAA offers a very special product specific to flat roof design that is much more attractive and less messy than the old tar and gravel ugly job. We used this company to put a new roof on last fall. It was a though winter and we had a significant amount of shingles pull off on both side of our roof. I contacted the contractor about coming out to take a look and see what he could do. He said he was too busy and that any damage was from ice and not his fault. He never even saw the roof! In 1998 AAA Roofing put roofs on our new lodge, cabana and three cabins. The product and workmanship was excellent and we have had no problems with the roofs. This is a follow-up review for AAA roofing. We were very pleased with this company and how professional they were putting on our new roof. Now that we are in the winter season we noticed a leak from a new pipe (put in by the plumbing company). Chris was first rate. He came out provided a free estimate and answered all of our many questions. After it was determined that they had the price and services I wanted I was put on the schedule for a time that allowed me to be at the house. I live in the bay area so this is not my primary residence so scheduling this I thought might be a challenge but they made it happen within the three weeks they promised. I was a little disappointed that once they got started it became apparent that the skylight we had purchased for installation wouldn't fit between the existing joists but they returned the skylight to the manufacturer for us and gave us full credit and even paid the restocking fee for us. Who does that these days? Chris said he felt bad for us because we didn't get the skylight we wanted and wanted to do this for us. When they were done it was like they were never even there. Except for the beautiful new roof of course. The last time I had a roof done at my house in Danville I spent months after pick up roofing nails and several areas of my lawn were left damaged from the debris piles when they stripped off the old roof. read more

It starts at the top with one of the owners Chris and extends to his employees. The entire process of replacing the roof on our second home in South Lake Tahoe was seamless. Chris is aware that many homeowners in SLT are not full time residents so he responds and conducts business via E-mail all the time. AAA takes the time to give you a detailed estimate and does follow up if you have any questions. My wife and I were able to be at the house while the work was being completed. Every step of the process was handled flawlessly and in an incredibly short amount of time. Clean-up was fast and the crew was meticulous about ensuring they left our home in as good if not better condition than when they started. Chris took the time to check in with us a few times to ensure we were happy with everything as the project moved through to completion. AAA Roofing replaced our cabin roof in the fall if 2018. It was a pleasure to work with this company from beginning to end. They were prompt, courteous, and. efficient. The office person, Mary, was always helpful and communicate. The estimator, Oscar, was knowledgeable and helpful, and the company was flexible in writing several contracts since we were working with the Forest Service. Chris, one of the co-owners came in advance of the scheduled roof replacement, so he could have a working knowledge of the logistics. He communicated clearly about the time and the process, so things could move smoothly. On the starting day Chris and the crew of nine with their trucks and port-a potty all arrived right on time and worked very efficiently to remove the old roof, put on the plywood and sheathing. I had been reassured that if there was a change in the weather the cabin would be protected. The crew of nine was amazing in their cooperative approach There was a ground crew, a-part-way up crew, and a high crew as the roof progressed. They all worked together like a well oiled machine. The crew finished the job ahead of schedule, and left the lot perfectly clean. They were a really nice crew, and Chris, the co owner set the tone with good communication with his crew and with me. Since they brought a port-a-potti they did not need to use my bathroom. I would give this company the highest marks for quality and professionalism. read more

Two years ago we used AAA roofing to re-roof our home. They did a fantastic job ... finished ahead of schedule and the product looks great from the street. We have a rental property with a leaky roof that was in need of fixing. Doug and Chris walked us through the options (from repair to replacement) and the different options to deal with the leaks around the existing chimney. We ended up having them replace the roof and build a chase around the masonry chimney. The finished product looks great and in last few rain storms we've had no leaks. The crew at AAA is knowledgeable and fair priced ... I'd use their services again. read more

I am an architect living in the Bay Area. I had tried for a couple of years to have the roof on my cabin replaced, but found dealing with maintenance from afar to be very challenging. However, working with AAA was a very good experience. They were extremely responsive in every way, with the bid, with my questions, and with the scheduling. The work was done when they said, and the quality was high. Also, the site was left extremely clean. I really don't know how they could have done a better job. BTW, They were also the least expensive of the three bids. read more
