I took my 2020 Kia in for an oil change. That service was fine. I was told I needed rear rotors and brake pads. I mentioned it to my brother who said I shouldn't need rotors with 50k miles, and I only drive locally 3-4k miles per year. I took it to my old mechanic in Atlanta. He verified I didn't need rotors. I contacted NuBrakes from the internet. The tech came to my apartment complex. He inspected the rotors and pads said I DID NOT need rotors. He replaced the pads for $212.24. I thought I could trust this place, but I was wrong. Now that I think about it. In 2023 I was told my 2015 Nissan Sentra needed a full brake job which I paid $800+. It had only 40k miles. Knowing what I know now; I feel I was deceived and taken advantage of. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Just because I am a senior female doesn't give them the right to take advantage of me. read more

I have been waiting for 2 hours. I got 3 different ETAs i called to see how far out they are and to let them know I'm waiting on a dark road and that it's not very safe. The police came out and was even on the phone and told AAA to still come. When i called again at 11:00pm the woman on the phone she told me that the driver cancelled and that i told him not to come. That is a lie. And it's not the 1st time that these drivers have cancelled or said they've completed the service and was no where near. I will be cancelling my membership and I will never recommend to anyone. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

Came here because I was having issues with my breaks. I left my car with them for about a day and they call me to let me know they found nothing. The next day I'm driving home from work and my car literally won't break unless I pulsate it really fast. It would have been nice if my breaks worked as I was pulling into an intersection. Luckily I wasn't hit. And my engine starts revving when my foot is off the clutch and gas. Decided to go somewhere else and they realized everything was out of line and I had to drop over $1000 on new car parts. AAA- I could have actually died driving in my car. People are supposed to trust anything a car professional says about car issues. Don't think AAA is good unless your car breaks down or you need juice... or maybe an oil change? We have been coming to this AAA establishment since we moved to Marietta 15 years ago. We come not only because it's convenient, but more so because of the consistently great service we receive. It was hard to find a car care facility where we felt valued as a customer but more importantly where we felt we could truly trust the advice given for both of our Honda Civics. We come for our regular maintenance and never feel that they are trying to offer or push services we do not need. We have had a few emergencies over the years and ALWAYS received prompt, competent service. Special shout-outs for Eric/Front Desk and Dugy/Maintenance. Both of these gentlemen consistently go above and beyond for great Customer Service. Also, frankly as a woman I greatly appreciate knowing I can trust this establishment to service my car "honestly". Even if we moved to a different area I would return here for service. Highly recommended!!! read more

I joined AAA several months ago after my daughter had some car trouble at college, and have not had the opportunity to use the AAA service until this past weekend. I was changing the oil in my other child's car for the first time (after buying it used 3 months ago). The housing cap to the filter element was totally stuck. In my efforts to remove it, I cracked the cap. Oil went everywhere. This happened on a Sunday afternoon. I called AAA, and the car was on a tow truck within 55 minutes, headed to this AAA center. (Towing was free, because it was less than 5 miles). Received a call first thing on Monday. The cap was replaced, and they also found a nail in each rear tire. All that was fixed before 3:00 on Monday (and saved my child from having flat tires in the near future), and at a very reasonable price. My first AAA experience was excellent, and all done in about 24 hours. read more

We were introduced to this facility through a free oil change and tire rotation offered by AAA to make customers aware of the service. We called to schedule an appointment, as requested in the offer and were told that they were overwhelmed and we should come by and wait. This approach led to about a three hour wait for a 10 minute service. It is a nice, new, clean and modern facility. The customer service representative was polite and courteous. He explained that AAA is opening more of these 'one stop shop' locations nationwide. I like the idea. It would be nice if AAA members were given a couple of free rotations and oil changes per year to give the membership an added value. AAA would benefit from performing other needed repairs and services and the overall strengthening of the customer's relationship through the experience. read more

This garage has had my car in 3 times. All of them to rework or fix repairs that they completed incorrectly. They replaced my alternator, only to find out they forgot to hook my air conditioning back up during that repair. They repaired my brakes, now they make a terrible sound. When they made the AC repair they removed a part from my dashboard and lost it. When I brought it to be fixed they said "they didn't take that part off" even though I know that they did. Bottom line, this garage is sub-par, once they fix the repairs they have already done they will be in my rear view mirror. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy or a person who likes to waste time driving back and forth to have things re-done. The employee who told me they didn't replace the plug in the dash was rude and accused us of doing it. If you see this place drive on by. There are lots of other reputable and qualified places to have your car repaired. I thought because it had the AAA name it would be vetted and qualified in some way, I don't think it is anything Luther than a badge to disguise a half rate garage. ****update**** Eight months later the part they replaced failed. My car stopped running in traffic. Fortunately AAA warranty's for 12 months. We were out of area, so we had to pay for a tow. We also had to pay for an Uber to get to work. AAA told us the shop would reimburse for these costs. The shop didn't want to, we had to speak through the clerk to the manager. Finally they agreed to send a check. That was about 3 weeks ago, still no check. I would run from this shop. read more

They took the time to explain things to me. That is rare these days. They did what they told me needed to be done and had care ready to pick up the same day. Everyone there was great. Love this place! I had a very bad experience with a transmission place off Cobb Parkway that starts with Mr. who told me I needed a part that would cost 1400.00. After spending 3500.00 and no warranty Given with their work I took my car and drove it to AAA off of Gordy parkway. These guys looked my car and after 5 min fixed the issue and sent me on my way. I have been taking my car in for service here for years. Everyone that works here is kind, helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. They always look out for promotions or deals in the interest of minimizing my fees and are direct with what services may be necessary. I have taken my car in for an oil and filter change and ended up not getting it serviced after they took at look at my oil and mileage, advising that the service was not necessary and to wait another few thousand. I am not very knowledgeable of mechanic issues with my car and have never felt taken advantage of in taking my car here. read more

They advertise a free shuttle drop off service ... dropped my vehicle off today and asked for the shuttle, I was told they would not shuttle because multiple people were out today. I ended up walking home. The facility manager Dennis Hughes said "you've been in business and you know what it's like when people lay out on you" - I replied, "yes I've dealt with employee issues, but I've done everything in my power to keep it from impacting my customers" This location was very good when it first opened, but they don't seem to care about customer service at this point. read more

AAA is a blessing. I have been to many other shops In town . They inspected my car . They did a Oil change Rotated my tires all for 28.26. Out the Door They prioritized what my car needed. They did try to Back me into a corner or try to use scare tactics They told what I needed to do .To keep my car road worthy. I a great experience. Beware of AAA Car Care Center on Sandy Plains Road. We had them perform a $69.95 pre-purchase inspection of a vehicle which failed to detect a " Cracked Four Wheel Drive Transfer Case". This resulted in my purchasing a car that needed $2200.00 in repairs. They also repaired the air conditioning system for $801.26 and it Failed in Tucson Arizona in 95-degree heat. The Napa Auto Centers Refused to honor the AAA warranty and we are out of pocket over $500.00 for repairs to the AC system. When I disputed the charge, I was told that theory could do nothing because I disputed the charge. Please do not use this facility as you could have the same result that I had. read more

These folks are great to work with! I feel they go the extra mile and don't overcharge going there. A little example: yesterday I stopped in late in the afternoon to see if they could replace the burned out headlamp on my Fusion. It was Friday, it was late. They could have just said "no." Or made a big deal about checking me in. Instead, the guy at the counter recognized me and told me to just drive around the side. Then he goT one of the mechanics to come remove the bulb so they could see what kind it was. It turned out that I have to wait fOr delivery of that particular bulb and I'll get a call today. But I felt taken care of and they did it all so cheerfully! We have older cars and have had many similar encounters where they did the right thing, not necessarily the easy thing. read more

I went in for the first time to get a SIMPLE oil change and saw on my receipt that they rotated my tires. I just had my tires rotated earlier so I didn't want them rotated again. I asked if they rotated my tires, and they said no. Driving back, I noticed that the car drove different. I looked at the tires and knew that one of my rims that had a scratch was moved to the front. I called back and was told that I can bring it over whenever convenient it is for me to move the tires back. When I returned, I explained the issue but was told that I would have to wait after other customers and then 30 more minutes to rotate the tires. It really takes that long? NO THANKS. I went to my tire place because I don't have time to mess around with these guys. Bad first impression. read more

I had a very negative experience with the AAA Auto Care center on 3445 Gordy Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30066. This was my first time getting my car serviced and I had a horrible experience. I had a check engine light fixed at another mechanic and then went to get my emissions. I didn't know you have to wait in between these so I didn't pass. I did not get back to that emission center in 1 mos so I would have had to pay for another emission (it wouldn't be free). I saw the coupon for a discount on emissions at AAA Auto Care so I went there. There is only one person at that center that can do emissions. He took my car and immediately brought it back saying he couldn't "touch it" as I had to go back to the original emission place. I said it has been over a month and he was rude and said I dont' know what to tell you and walked away (strike 1 for being unprofessional). I asked the man up front who was also rude (service writer P62239 on 6/27/19). He also said there was nothing he could do. I said it has been over 1 mos so I don't have to go back to that original emissions...he just shook his head. So I left and went to the original mechanic who told me that AAA gave me incorrect information (which I knew they did). He signed a document that he did the check engine work. I went back to the original emissions place and he said I am sorry, but it has been over 1 mos so I have to charge you again (which is what I told AAA) I told him AAA refused to do the check and he also confirmed that AAA had told me incorrectly. I paid for the emission full price when I could have used my coupon at AAA. I went back to AAA to tell them they were wrong and to use another coupon for a free oil change. The same guy was rude to me and said "did you have to pay?" and I said yes, full price instead of $10 off with you. He looked down but didn't apologize for the huge inconvenience he caused me and the incorrect information both he and the emissions guy gave. On a side note the mechanic who did my check engine told me he knew the guy at AAA who did the emissions and said he was lazy..so this was probably just a way to get out of doing work. If that wasn't bad enough. The same guy up front (P62239) told me it would be a 4+ hour wait to get my oil changed. So he didn't apologize for his mistake and then he was annoyed I wanted to use a coupon for the oil change so he was trying to make it miserable for me so I would go away. Remember this is my first experience with this center. I told him no problem I wanted the oil change as I was not going to let him bully me and run me off. What a horrible, unprofessional man. I left the car and many hours later they called and I picked it up. I got a different man (I think he might have been a manager) and he had heard the whole scenario w/me and the other man but did nothing. I paid the sales tax (since I used the coupon for a free oil change) and left. As I am walking out the door I thought how unprofessional AAA employees are and I will never use this auto care center again. I deserve to be treated with more respect than any of the 3 employees gave me. This is unacceptable. I am a new AAA member and this horrible experience has made me reconsider if I will renew my membership. Someone needs to investigate the emissions guy and the 2 men at the front desk on 6/27/19 first thing in the morning when they opened. I am very disappointed with AAA. read more

First time at this location. Went for 4 wheel alignment, oil change. Called me indicating the stabilizers needed replacing. All ok. Picked up the truck, drove for 2 weeks. A squeaking sound started. Went back last week at 3:30pm. Explained problem. Told me to leave the truck overnight. They'd look at it tomorrow. No concern on their part like....."let's take a look right now"?? Nope. Only because I insisted on looking at it right then did he get a mechanic to look. Result....the stabilizer job had not been finished, ie, none of the bolts (2 on each side) had been tightened. I mean they were just flopping there. The stabilizer bars were not tight either....I could turn the bushings with my fingers. (I went ahead and did that myself since I didn't want to screw with going back again). Ok, I get it...mistakes are made and some mechanics are good....maybe even the one who worked on my truck. But the biggest disappointment is the guy at the desk when I went back. Leave my truck overnight? I could see if they closed at 4pm? He had no interest in helping me out at all. He must have had a bad day. Sorry guys, get your shit together. Ending on a positive note....The CS person who I spoke to when I first went in for alignment, etc., was very nice and helpful. The mechanic who fixed the undone job when I went back was good too. But, I won't be going back there again. read more

I took my Ford F-250 truck in for repair and they asked me to leave it with them. When it was finally "ready" a week later my gas tank (which was full) was drained and all the loose coins in my truck gone (my fault for leaving them there) plus they did not fix my truck. I asked why my tank was empty and they said they needed to "test drive it". 400+ miles of driving? Do not trust these people with your vehicle. I now have a great mechanic and will never return to this place. read more

That is until you find out that they do not do emissions on Tuesdays and there is just 1 person there that does them so when you show up on any other day and that individual is at lunch or not there for some reason then you have wasted a trip & time. I am a AAA member and I always have enjoyed their service. The shop is fairly new to the area and this the first time I've had time to come in. I was completely satisfied with my experience. I would leave less than 1 star if possible. They have taken care of my wife's car along with my car for years. They have always been a little over priced but good service until now. I was in the market for a used car. That being said we had 2 different cars with an inspection done by them done before the purchase of a vehicle. The 1st car they said had all sorts of issues so we passed on it. The 2nd car we had inspected passed and they told us the car checked out. We bought the car with there inspection saying everything was OK. Now less than one thousand miles and a month later the transmission goes out. I have it towed to them to inspect the car to see what it needs. Turns out we need a new transmission. They quoted us a price of $5200 dollars which seemed very high. So I called around to get quotes from at least 10 different transmission shops. The prices came back between $2700-$3700 for replacement. I was also told that a common problem with my car was the very thing that has broken the transmission. I was also told by 3 different shops that if they had done a proper inspection they would have caught the problem before we purchased this vehicle. So I then go to pay them for the $79 fee to get my car released to send to another shop. I get all the transmission quote in writing for $5200. I then tell them that they will not be getting any of my business in the future. And they are way over priced. They told me that was the going rate. I then learned they don't actually replace transmissions they use AAMCO for there work. One of the quotes we received was from AAMCO and they were over $2000 cheaper than the quote from AAA. I get they need to also make a cut of the service but this is insane. I also told the service manger that I was told by a few of the shops we were getting quotes from they should have caught the problem if they did a inspection. The service manager told me they only check the dip stick..... Really ... why would I pay you to check the fluid levels in a pre-sales inspection my two kids are capable of that. Why do we pay you to check out a car and you not look at vital components of a car? The service manager and other person at the front counter were very uncomfortable being called out like that. With quotes in hand from other shops they knew they were backed into a corner. So summary of AAA they car fix your car if it is broken. You will pay through the nose to get it fixed, and they may not even be the ones fixing it. They are not even reasonably priced. If your car is in need of repair call around to other shops. They are much higher than other places, and after this I even question the quality of there work if they did not catch a massive issue on a inspection they are preforming. read more
