From our first contact over the phone with Caroline to Derek who came out and helped twice with two separate blown out tires on our boat trailer on our drive from Pullman to Fox Island. Derek was so friendly and knowledgeable about our situation and giving us suggestions... then he went above and beyond by escorting us to Ellensburgs Tire center after hours on a loaner tire to get us to a place we could get four new tires! He did not have to do that and we do appreciated him! I will be saving their number if we ever need help on the east side of the mountains. Thank you Derek! You are awesome read more

My husband called Triple A to have one of our vehicles towed. My husband had to leave to get back to his job, leaving me in charge. Vista Service Towing was the provider that was sent. Driver was very rude, and ended up refusing the tow under Triple A. Never offered me the option to even pay for it out of pocket. Thankfully it was a vehicle we needed towed from our home to a shop and I, a stage 4 cancer patient wasn't left stranded on the side of the road in 90 degree weather. Let me start with saying that Robbie is the man.... Was planning a nice Memorial day weekend in Moses Lake when our f*cking 2007 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT 5.3l engine check light came on in the middle of nowhere on state route 26 . Called AAA which were trying all they could do, to get us towed from the scene of the disaster. Made arrangements to be towed back to Seattle 100+ miles and after about 1-1/2 hours Robbie showed up who took real good care of us... Did tell you Robbie is the man ??? Anyway extremely happy with AAA and Vista Towing to be able to get home after the whole ordeal. Again Robbie is the man ;-) Not the best start for this memorial day weekend though. A Camping Catastrophe: I decided to go camping in Eastern Washington. My choice location was Vantage but once arriving, realizing there were no people here due to no current concerts playing at the Gorge my friend whined and we decided to continue East on the hunt to find another spot. Stopping in Moses Lake, I asked around about any camping spots and people began suggesting "the Dunes". Now that I think of it, sounds a bit ominous. Eh...at the time, we thought it rang rad so we began our adventure. First, I got my car stuck in the sand. Yes, suddenly I became THAT girl who got her car stuck b/c she was out of her element and wasn't thinking straight. I blame the heat. We were rescued by a gnarly older couple who were both helpful and entertaining in ways of wit I'd never witnessed the likes of. I wanted to adopt them but alas, we moved on. Decision: the desert + the heat + the noise of quads + the jealousy ripping through us of not having quads = UN-want of camping at the Dunes. We took the bumpy, dirt road outta there and that's when the poo hit the fan. Losing power, I stopped my car and turned it off. We were stuck. No one was passing us on this little road in the middle of the desert. I laughed nervously. Ahem, several times. For hours, I turned my car on, was able to drive a mile, started losing power, put er' in park and turned it off. Hours of this strategy landed me at a randomly placed Conoco right in front of I-90. Turns out, I have fabulous friends and due to everything being closed after 5pm on Saturdays in Moses Lake (FYI), I had no option but to go home [all the way back to Seattle-3 hrs away] and come back to get my car. I left my car at Conoco and journeyed back home. The following day, I started calling Uhaul places due to a friends suggestion for cost efficiency. Luckily, I happen to dial their Regional office. The girl on the other line was super friendly. I'd had no luck in finding any Uhaul places with a Truck and Dolly for towing my car from Moses Lake back to Seattle but within minutes, she had me hooked up with a reservation for exactly what I needed 1 exit away from where I was broken down. RAD! On the way back out to Moses Lake to get the Uhaul and pick up my car, the car I was in died. There was a flat tire and a power issue. [This is where more fabulous friends come into play and rescue me on I-90 and take me the rest of the way to Moses Lake.] Knowing that due to the tiny set back, I wouldn't arrive at Vista before they closed I called and begged, bribed and badgered them into staying open for me. It took a while, there was some calling back and forth but they came through. AAA Vista Service Towing is the best place in the world, or at least the best place in Moses Lake. They were swamped with accidents that they were towing for but you'd never even know it by the way they answered the phones and talked to me in person. Bob (the guy re-opening the office JUST to meet me), called me twice to ensure I knew he was on his way and to make sure I was OK. He even asked me if my friends or I needed anything to drink or eat!!! When he arrived, he gave us all bottles of water that he bought for us while on the way over. The entire experience was positive, polite and genuine. He made extra efforts to show us how to hook up the car on the dolly, connected all the wiring and gave me a discount "because catastrophes like yours deserve discounts". Yes, that was a quote. AAA Vista Service Towing deserves all the business they can get. Classic customer service, ideal level of professionalism, friendly and intuitive staff and time efficiency at it's best. The service we received in all aspects from Vista was calming, almost nurturing even. My friends and I left with smiles. The rest of our journey home was peaceful and positive. This turned out to be the best breakdown ever and I have Vista to thank for making this such a smooth experience. read more

In Central Washington it can get very hot in the summertime; often over 100 degrees. Which is another way of saying that it's a bad time for your water pump to break. Tragically, while minding my own business driving across the Evergreen State this event occurred; culminating in a steam-filled haze marooned at a Conoco gas station. Through AAA, I was placed in contact with Vista Towing. They're one of three towing companies based in Moses Lake and if you're stranded in this part of the state along I-90 between the Columbia river and Spokane, you have a decent chance of meeting them. They have three different trucks that are typically fairly busy on the weekend. The driver was professional and quick, towing me back to Seattle. I can tell you that the towing costs are $3.50/mile. Fortunately a AAA discount reduced the miles I would have to pay. I also learned a few other things, such as: how easy it is to melt your car just leaving it running, scrap metal prices for junk cars and the difficulty of towing motorhomes. read more

I needed someone to come and tow my standard travel trailer two miles from our storage unit to our campsite less than two miles away. They quoted me $150! Other reviews say the per mile charge was $3.50, so $7 for miles and $143 hook up?? Seriously? . read more

Cross country road trip out west. Our vehicle broke down on rt 90 at sunset. Called AAA. Vista towing was there within an hour and 15 minutes. A lot sooner than expected. Gabe was our driver. It was 8/15/08 What great help from a towing company. I can't say enough about the quick response and courteous operator. My vibration dampner/ pulley fell off. What a helpless feeling! Vista made it all better.LOL I was towed in to Spokane under my 100 mile limit. I was on my way for a few days of fishing on the St. Joe. Had a wonderful time. My experience with "Vista Service Towing" has not been very good. I just read the 2 previous ratings and find them hard to believe under the circumstance of my experiences. New Years Eve our vehicle was involved in an accident on Hwy I-90, 12 miles north of Moses Lake, WA. Vista Service Towing, 990 E Broadway Ave, Moses Lake, WA 98837, started charging from the time they left on the service call clear up until the paperwork was being signed at their front desk. In fact they said to hurry up because in 5 minutes they were going to charge another hour! Was also explained that they charged $45.00 a day for vehicle storage and that they would be closed all weekend until Monday January 4, 2010, and they would charge $80.00 to come open the gate before they opened on Monday. Their yard also closes at 5:00 PM. on weekdays. Not once did the tow truck driver ever say that there was a meter running for their service call except back at their address. To me this was poor business. read more

I broke down about 12 miles outside of Moses Lake. Called for a tow, Vista said it would be about 2 hours. It was about noon on I-90 and it was about 95 degrees. So, I called my insurance and they found me a tow (SAM RECOVERY) that would be to me in about 30 min. They came and towed me to Vista, because they are a UHAUL rep. My husband had to make a 3/1/2 hour drive from Puyallup to pick me up and tow my car home. So, I made arranagements immediately with Vista to rent a car dolley. First thing they asked me is "what is the dolley going to tow?" I told them the make and model and the make and model of the car that would tow the dolley and my car home. So, went to a local restaurant to wait out the three plus hours. I'm stranded 204 miles from home and Vista REFUSED to stay open till 5pm. They close at 5pm, but their web site says 6pm. The girl who would work till 6pm no longer works there. My husband got there at 4:50pm. He had driven over 200 miles to get me and my car and my daughter and her friend. At 5pm Vista tells us that my car is too "HEAVY" for the dolley!!!!! So, 4 hours ago I give Vista all the informations they asked for. I should have been told that my car was too heavy then. Don't know who did not do their job properly or if they even knew what they were doing. We could have made so many other arrangements that day IF someone did the job right. Asking for helping is not a sign of weakness, it's strenght. So, my car is still in Moses Lake. My husband will be back this week to pick it up. Couple hundreds wasted on gas, and 400 miles put on a truck for no good reason. Not sure what the issue is with the employee/owner? I politely suggested that the girl should be told the correct way to do the job and the owner flew off the handle. NOT THE KIND OF PEOPLE I WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THE ONLY THING I EVER PLAN TO DO IN MOSES LAKE IS USE THE BATHROOM AND GET THE HELL OUT OF TOWN. Thanks for your compassion! Did not even get a simple "sorry." read more
