The problem was that my rental car was not blowing any air (AC) despite working earlier on my trip. The gentleman (think he was the owner) looked at/operated the controls and concluded that the blower motor was likely failing. He took the time out of his day to check this out for me for no charge. They also charged $20, which would be reasonable if the work had been done cleanly--but it wasn't even balanced. Now I'll have to take it somewhere else to remove the debris inside the tire.
