6/19/2025. System installed. Installation went well, taking about 4 hours. Unit worked perfect…read moreafter installation until the next morning. 6/20/2025: Went upstairs and found the temperature was 79-80 degrees, thermostat set for 74. Called AAA. Didn't know who to call so Ieft a voicemail for the sales manager that sold me the unit. Did not hear back from him. Got hold of call handling and told them I had a problem. Service Tech came out and said a board was "fried". He bypassed the board to get things working" until they could get a new board. They had scheduled an inspector to come out and go over the whole system after the installation but that was delayed until they got the new board in and had the unit fixed. 7/1/2025: The new board came in and they scheduled someone to come out between 8AM-1PM to replace the board. I received a call from AAA saying the technician wouldn't be out because he said it was raining where I was! We had NO rain, but blue skies and we didn't get any rain at all for the remainder of the day. 7/2/2025; Technician arrived and installed the board. A manager (Rusty Crater) came out that afternoon and inspected the system and went over the paperwork with me. The unit was working later that evening I noticed that the upstairs temperature was again high (79º). I decided to wait til the morning to see if it cooled down overnight. 7/4/2025: Upstairs temp got into the 80's. Unit not working again. Since it was July 4th holiday nobody answered calls so I left a voicemail on their recorder. I also sent an email to schedule a service call asap for the next day. 7/5/2025: At 8:05AM received call saying a technician would be out by 1PM. At 1:05PM I called saying I'd not heard from the technician. They said he was still on the first call and would be out before 5PM. At 3:30PM I called AAA to confirm and asked to speak to a manager. Someone named Jaleel called me and said the Technician was still tied up with his first call. I expressed my concern about the bad board and he said "It's our policy if we have two problems the same we replace the unit with the problem". A second manager, Jonathan, called me and said the technician was delayed. At 6:30PM the technician called and said he could come out or else wait til the morning, my choice. Since it was dinnertime and we were eating I told him to just come first thing in the morning. 7/6/2025: He arrived. He said the unit was low on freon and freezing up on both upstairs handler and outside unit. He said American Standard only comes with enough freon for 15 feet of tubing so he put extra freon in to compensate for the length of tubing from the compressor outside to the air handler in the attic. He said maybe they didn't fully charge the system on installation, but wasn't sure or not. He was confident the problem was fixed. He left with the unit working. 7/7/2025: Went upstairs and once again found the temperature high and the unit not working. The compressor fan outside was not running at all. Called AAA call handling person and said I'd like to speak to a manager or president of the company. She said "The manager is the next person you need to speak to" and I told her I wanted to speak to the owner of the company. She kept insisting that I would have to speak to the manager first. I had a meeting so I told my wife to call. She called and asked to speak to the owner of AAA and the call handler told her he was not in the office and didn't have a number. She asked for the number where he was and they said they couldn't do that, but a manager would call. A couple hours later a manager called my wife. She explained her dissatisfaction with all that's been going on and said if not resolved she was going to call the BBB and CPA. His answer to her was "I DON'T RESPOND WELL TO THREATS!" She said "This is not a thread, I'm telling you what I will do if it's not fixed...would you rather me calling the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Agency without letting you know beforehand? I'm letting you know beforehand this is what I intend to do if you can't get this resolved and solve the problem! He didn't answer to that. 7/8/2025: This time they sent out two different repairmen to look at the problem. After about an hour they said they found two bad sensors that were shutting down the compressor. They said they'd be out tomorrow if they had the sensors in stock. 7/9/2025: Another different technician showed up. He said "I've got the sensors and a new board but don't know if I'll replace them?" He said he wanted to check out other things first. He came in after an hour and said he'd been on the phone with an American Standard Engineer. He found a "bad wire" in the upstairs unit. So I guess the sensors ore even the board weren't bad...or the freon. I'm betting problem was they wired the upstairs unit wrong....not a "Bad wire". Unit is now working. Not a good start for AAA!!!

They are rude and dishonest and takes advantage of ppl with disabilities trying to squeeze them for…read moremoney by saying it's this and then it's this and not fixing the issues. They need to be watched because I didn't watch them and I trusted them and they claimed they did the work but issues were happening one after another .
