Mathew showed up right on time, he and his assistant took great care and time tuning, Adjusting pedals, and tightening some plate screws that had become loose over time. Our piano is played hours a day for rehearsing, many competitions and recordings. It was very important to get the best sound as possible. Mathew is well trained and has a great ear. The Piano sounds very stable and in tune with itself. We have used other tuning technicians in the past and were not very happy with the results. This is a lovely family business! They helped us with the tuning for two antique upright grand pianos (a Capen and a Netzow) that were donated to our music school in Agoura Hills. They were incredibly knowledgeable and gave us great insight into the history and construction of our pianos as well as solid and specific advice for repair and care going forward. Not only did they provide us with a great service, but they were incredibly kind and understanding when we forgot our studio keys at home and had to battle with traffic. They quoted us a fair and reasonable price (for the tuning and for the needed repairs in the future) and completed their service within the timeframe offered to us.
