Initially, contact was great, services were excellent, technicians showed up when/where they were supposed to and performed contacted services. Unfortunately, after the second year it began to go downhill. We were being billed for appointments that never happened; sent fraudulent invoices for services that were not performed. We initially thought that maybe it was a mistake due to employee changes etc. We reached out to the company several times to report these findings and we're always told that we'd be contacted by management and not to worry, the concerns would be rectified. Unfortunately, that was not the case. 4 years wasted money. Now left searching for a new company...

Then I called for bees at my rental property and it was atrocious getting something scheduled. I heard all pest places were really busy so I am trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt but he didn't communicate any of that. He finally called back to "schedule" about a half hour before he possibly could show up but it could take a few hours to show up. That is a nightmare to do with tenants!

When I first called the rep on the other line was very helpful and even offered a discount when I was a little sticker shocked by the price so right off the bat I was impressed with their customer service which is why I perused Orkin Pest Control. Setting up the initial visit was simple and I was excited to finally get this bug situation under control. As the day of the initial visit came closer there was no email confirmation or reminder text, leaving me a little unsure if they had still planned on arriving. But the day of the initial visit I had revived texts and phone calls about the estimated time of arrival which was nice. The tech showed up right when he said he would, was very friendly and professional. However he said he was uninformed that cobweb removal was a service I wanted done that day but he was still happy to help. After spraying all the windows and doorways he grabbed his brush for removing cobwebs and headed to my basement where the situation had gotten bad over the last few weeks for no apparent reason. I waited upstairs while he worked and after about 10 minutes he came back up said I was all set and went on his way. I went down to check, with low expectations given he was only down there for 10 minutes and my basement was literally covered with cobwebs from top to bottom, only to find that every cobweb was still in its place. Extremely disappointed I contacted Orkin and let them know of my situation. I spoke with a different rep this time to which she said "The tech who helped you today will reach out, and you can set up a time for him to come back and touch up the areas he missed." 1. That's like slightly awkward to have the guy who I just placed a complaint about call me back and set up a time for him to come back into my home? Lol 2. Never got a call back so after a week I reached out to Orkin and set up another appointment. Spoke with yet a different rep who assured me that the 1st tech would not be the same one to come and touch up what was missed with the initial visit. I asked about cobwebs removal and explained thats the main thing I wanted taken care of and the rep said "They should remove the ones they can see and that they can reach with their brush without having to move your personal items." That being said I made sure everything in my basement was away from the cobwebs I wanted removed. Most of them were in the baseboards of the ceiling or doorways or corners where I didn't have any personal items in the first place (I have an unfinished basement). When the day came for the second visit (at no charge which was nice) I had high hopes that this time the cobwebs would be taken care of. The tech was different from the first, also kind and professional, so I went into this with a little more hope. But to my demise, cobwebs are still in corners, still in doorways, still visible and I'm left disappointed. I plan on canceling my membership with Orkin. I understand they are not a house cleaning service but if cobweb removal is a service they provide and I'm paying for that service, I would expect it to be done right the first time. If I wanted to do it myself for free I would but I would rather pay a professional to come out and do it properly so you can imagine I'm rather disappointed when it takes two men to come out and clean them and still not do it right.

He couldn't have been friendlier and certainly couldn't have been more knowledgeable. He saw the nasty little fellas and even saw ones I hadn't seen yet. They don't have the staff to service existing customers. i've been calling for 3 days & leaving messages about our usual spring ant problem. I need a service tech to come out and get no response. They no longer have anyone answering the phone, you can leave a message which it appears no one monitors. I'm quitting this overpriced overhyped company and going elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money!

The other one took over a day to call back. I actually got the technicians number from a friend and contacted him directly, not sure that was the way to go, but Wendall was fantastic. He went above And beyond and handled everything quickly! If the company is as good as him they deserve 5 stars. I always say a company is only as god as the employee's. I hope I don't need them again but I will call Wendall if I do.

Very disappointed with the service. Although their staff is friendly, their sales is misleading…read moreand they do not address customer problems as they arise. Four years ago, I contacted several companies because we were having issues with bees and wasps. Smitter gave me the most cost-effective quote for treatment of the bees and wasps and set me up for service. We repeatedly had issues with the bugs coming back over the years and had to call them to come back out. When I contacted them recently, I was told by a new office worker that the service we signed up for does not include treatment of bees and wasps and we would need to pay an additional $142 fee. When I asked her to look back at our file to see that we had originally only sought treatment for bees and wasps. She indicated that she did not work there at the time I started with the and couldn't help me. They refused to go back and look at our file as to what was originally requested or try to make it right. I would not recommend and if you do use the service, please double check and look up the paperwork carefully to make sure they're spraying the appropriate products for your needs. Their word cannot be trusted. At this point, we've probably paid them over $1500 and they have not provided any of the service that we requested. We also now have siding damage from the bees that were never properly treated.
