Overall, material was included in quote, he showed shared picture of fence options. Quote was invoiced and paid half in advance to work. One Saturday morning, we heard the noises and came to know that his crew is already here to do the job on fence. As I had other engagement on that morning, I was mostly out till the end. Came to know that my sprinkler line is cut during the work, no inquiry about ground situation before beginning of the job . No big deal, I informed the business owner and asked him to keep going. He did fix the line later, I didn't get it checked yet....... The one side of my fence was not leveled by their crew as the corner is little sloppy; although my original wooden fence was leveled to ground. Again no issue, I can live with it. My issue is the really cheap quality of aluminum panels (very light) used in the fence (overall 49 feet linear length), although I inquired in the beginning and paid for at least good quality material (for around $65-70 you can get around 12-15 lb heavy 5-6 feet aluminum and other location during . He even worked thru pouring rain because we needed the project done before the next day. His price for the project was very affordable and a hell of a bargain for the quality of work. He was very polite and respectful while in my home, even wearing protective shoe covers. He arrived at 8:00am as scheduled and spent 2 hours completing a "Home Diagnostic Inspection" which included examining all my hot water heaters and ALL plumbing fixtures throughout my home which I was not expecting. He then presented me with a service plan at $60 per month for a maintenance plan which gave me a discount on future services (10%) and a 50% discount on the service call fee of $119.00. He also gave me a bid on replacement cost for several faucets which I felt was a little bit higher than I was willing to pay. He said I could buy my own parts but the installation charge would be higher. I told him "Thank you but no thank you". He gave me a bid for the removal and installation of the 'Insinkerator' instant hot water dispenser that I had already purchased. The bid was extremely higher than I ever expected! But, the technician was here and I wanted it done, however I only elected to have ONE faucet replaced which made the price go up! Long story short, I was charged $815.36 for the installation which took One Hour and Fifteen minutes (I provided the part). In addition to this, I was charged $119.00 for the service call fee! I paid a total of $934.36 and 2/3 of the time he was here was spent on trying to sell me a service plan for my plumbing, H-Vac system as well as my electrical needs for $60 A MONTH! Then, you get a whopping 10% discount on the service call fee! I calculated that this service call was $12.47 per minute! I contacted the company customer service representative to talk about what I thought was an extremely high charge and all she could offer was that they have to pay for gas, tools and expenses! She also reminded me that I signed and agreed to the bid (she told me this 5 times). I told her I DID agree that that was their bid and I paid it! I did not agree that it was a fair price but I did not want to confront the young technician. I called HER to discuss the issue, to see if she thought that $934.36 for 1 hour and 15 minutes labor was fair. She did! Call this company if you have money to burn but you will get your work done politely.
