The liner took 3-4 days, cost just under $5k but gives my old old chimney a whole new life. They clean in the fall and do repairs in the spring. They put up a zip wall around the fireplace, covered all the furniture, wore shoe covers and a mask when in the house, and cleaned up everything. The liner itself is so tiny compared to the old chimney width but I think that's how it supposed to be. It just looks so funny now. I have peace of mind that I won't have to deal with a chimney fire, however, so that's worth something.

I called again at 1100 and a woman answered stating that the reason she had not answered the phone was because she had 40 voice messages but she stated she would call Tyler and see whats going on and call me right back. Two hours after not hearing from her I called back twice and got no answer. i could not imagine treating a customer in this way. Whats really bad about this is I have a deadline. My HOA states I have to have the fireplace rendered useless for insurance purposes by Dec 15th or I would be fined. I doubt I will be able to find someone else to come out in just a few days to do this. Most of the companies are backed up 3-6 weeks because of the time of the year. I also ruined a whole day being afraid to leave in case they showed up.
