Aaron came out the day I called, which was the only good thing about the visit. I showed him that my Whirlpool french door refrigerator freezer had frozen shut. He showed me how to put it into "Cool Down" mode and said to call him when it had thawed enough to open, which took FIVE DAYS!!! I called him to come back and he did, but he took the drain tube off of the back of the refrigerator, cleaned it, put it back on, and said I'd never have that problem again. Charged me $255 to do that. Well, it's been two months and it's freezing up again!!!! Why?!?! Because he did not clean the defrost drain INSIDE THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT!!!!! Now I have to come up with another service fee plus for someone else who knows what they're doing to come out and fix it right!!!! I WILL NOT BE CALLING AARON'S!!!! read more

Had Aaron come to service my freezer initially it was all good until it wasn'! I have called multiple times because my freezer is still not working properly. I'm done calling and texting, going to give my credit card company a call and file a dispute! No customer service, made promise to follow up on a part that I needed and 2 months later still can't get him to return. it's ok, because he's about to get " charge back"! he doesn't even have the decency to return calls. It pains me to write reviews such as this. However as a small business owner myself, I feel obligated to say something. We always go looking for other small businesses to support, to help the smaller business person grow and propser. Which is how we found Aaron on Yelp. However in this case we hired Aaron's appliance to repair a washing machine. He charged us $500 for a transmission and a agitator. 3 days after the repairs the washing machine broke. We called Aaron back for the repair and claimed now the clutch was bad and wanted more money. We brought in another repair technician to verify, who said we needed yet another transmission. We relayed this to Aaron, and his response was to try and find another vendor to help us. He offered no refund. Again I don't like to write these negative reviews against another small business. But small businesses ripping off other small businesses is just shameful. I'd think twice before hiring Aaron's appliance repair. read more

I'm going to go so far as to say that Aaron helped me by not repairing a doggone thing. I had a Samsung washing machine trip out on me, a few months after the warranty ran out. Samsung online quoted me a repair of $490, about a hundred dollars less than the price of the whole unit when I bought it 14 months prior. After talking to them in India, the price dropped to probably $350 to $450 once a repairman called me. Called Aaron's repair. Aaron responded, chatted for 15 minutes. Found a part and quoted a price, after installation, for less than all of this. The thing is the washing machine cleaned itself up and it seems to be working again (don't involve computers into your washing machine purchases). But what's cool is that Aaron was on my side the whole way. He didn't see an opportunity to take advantage of someone. He was just as frustrated and, when it all went away, just said thanks and we have moved on. That's all you want from someone and you rarely get it anymore. Aaron was awesome! Pricing was cheaper than several other we contacted! We were having issues with our gas stove and he was able to pinpoint the issue and order the parts. He was very polite and easy to work with. The day after he repaired the bad igniters, my wife stated she smelled gas and once I called Aaron, he came back and did even further testing and ensured no gas was leaking. I was in the process of ordering a new one when I decided to look on YouTube. I called Aaron to work on my Bosch dishwasher due to good Yelp reviews & a quoted price of $200. He found the problem right away & ordered parts from Bosch. In order to install the new parts he pulled the entire dishwasher out of the hole by yanking on the door, which I didn't want him to do. In doing so Aaron broke the door closer cable & had to order a new one. In the process of replacing the cable & getting the dishwasher back in the hole, Aaron dented my Stainless Steel door & tried to rub it out, which didn't work. The cable is installed wrong so the door opens more than 90° and we have to place a box under the door when it's open so the door won't break off when the bottom rack is pulled out. He didn't charge me for the new door cable or labor & he shouldn't have since he broke it. With all the problems Aaron had, I asked him where he trained to be a repair tech and he said he was self taught. It really shows. I will never use him again and I DON'T recommend him. He knows just enough to be dangerous. read more

Aaron did a great job getting the part replaced and left with saying sometimes the belt associated with that clutch need to be replaced but it looked fine. This week was my first experience with Aaron's Appliance Repair. Aaron called me back right away - on a Saturday no less! He ended up coming out on Monday and was right on time. He had to order a part for our washing machine and told us as soon as it came in, he would be back to fix it. He came back Wednesday night but had to finish the job Thursday. Not only did he get the washer up and running, but we asked if he would blow out our dryer line too. He did so at no charge.
