It was clean when I bought it but I had to clean it up a bit more, simply so it would fit my personal standards of cleanliness. It wasn't terrible, though. First off, the store opened late. That happens. The employee immediately acknowledged me and pointed out a great deal. I usually try to pay cash, though this is something of an unexpected move and the washer/dryer where I live now belongs to the landlord. When I asked about financing, she pointed out they use use a private firm and I'd want to pay it off in three months to avoid high fees. I explained I didn't know if I could do that or not, but did want financing. She kept pressuring me (politely) to pay in three months and could not tell me how much the month "lease to pay" would be other than "you should pay it off in three months." I started to fill out the application, then the form wanted my bank routing and bank account numbers. Okay - I'd have done some quick research to make sure this was legit only I do not carry checks. Plus, I'm reluctant to give it to them without knowing how much my monthly "lease" would be. I left and went to a "big box" store where I got a washer and dryer for the same price financed without having to hand over my banking account number - and at a lower interest rate. I sometimes do direct debit, though only after research. I also like to make more than the minimum payment. All that said, if I need future appliances and was paying cash, I would look here first.

These beds are a very high quality craftmanship and they are absolutely worth the wait and the money. A few things I would have considered and maybe done differently is deeper book cases on the barn door as I didn't think about where I would store bedding and pillows. I love the depth of the shaker bed, they are deeper than normal, I know it isn't the norm but it sure adds a lot of flexibility. I personally love the option of having deeper mattresses, I wish we would have done both of ours to fit 14". We did 1 mattress 12" and one 13" One thing to think about is having it deep enough so you can leave the bed made with sheets and a light blanket.

We had some weather in the Northeast, but the real problem seems to be that when the bed leaves their shop, they become clueless as to its whereabouts. That's a problem, and just know that you may need to do lots of "legwork" on your own. After 5-10 hours of calls, I cancelled my order. By their own admission they are over-capacity, so this will be a "whatever" to them, but they disappointed a kid and lost what could have been a lifelong customer. To their credit, they issued a full refund, which gets them 1 star. -- Disappointed in NY.

As a first time mattress shopper and sufferer of chronic back and neck pain, I was feeling pretty lost. We walked in the door and Jacob immediately made us feel comfortable. He asked goal-directed questions that quickly narrowed things down from a large, impressive selection of inventory to the specific type/style of mattress that would meet our particular needs. It was clear the entire time that this guy is not only an expert when it comes to mattresses (he even busted a myth about firmness, and we learned quite a bit about spinal alignment, too). His scope of knowledge was impressive, but what really stood out to me was how obvious it was that he really cares about making sure people leave with the right mattress. We spend a sizable chunk of our lives horizontally, and this was a very big and important purchase to us. It seemed Jacob went out of his way to be helpful, accommodating, and friendly --from tolerating our cheesy jokes as we tested mattresses to carrying our new pillows out to our car for us when we left. The atmosphere was laid back, relaxed, and no-pressure. In the end, we went with a king sized Tempur-pedic that we financed for a very reasonable price. We are so excited and can't wait to sleep on it after its delivered! The real star of this show, however, was Jacob. Will definitely be referring our friends and family here.
