This is by far the absolute worst HD I have ever been to. The employees are basically just zombies that roam around the store with no purpose other than to avoid customers like the plague. If you do happen to capture one and ask a question you will have to wait to talk to at least five different employees and in the end you still won't have an answer. If you make a large purchase, like, say a $4,000 refrigerator, the customer support after the sale is non-existent. Again, if there is a problem with the purchase you will have to talk to multiple employees that do their best to make it YOUR problem and will use any fine print (that no one ever reads) to get out of taking care of the customer. They would rather watch you get all riled up than take five minutes of their time to actually help the customer. I see some of the positive reviews and they obviously are either bots or people that have been very fortunate to never have a reason to interact with any employees. read more

Jesse who's originally from Oregon; you're awesome. I could've easily gone to Walmart for some light bulbs, but I wasn't familiar with the type of bulb I needed so off to a hardware store I went. It was a Saturdy evening around 6ishPM, and surprisingly a lot of people in store. I went to the light bulb aisle which is easy to find being the first one in front of you as you enter the store. There were a couple employees at the counter area to the left, talking. Now, I already don't like visiting hardware stores without my husband, and I'm not going to go up to employees if they look like they would rather not deal with customers. My son and I walked down the next aisle where there are various lamps and light fixtures and was about to walk back down the bulb aisle when a gentleman with gauges, Jesse, stopped, and asked "do you need help with anything ma'am?" Well yes, I do. He walked us down the aisle and searched for the bulb we needed. He even took the time to explain about the glasses inside the type of bulb I was replacing, what wattage would look like in the room (hella bright, dimmer, etc), and even tried to help with a bulb for outside as well. I think because I mentioned we were renting that it came up we were new to the area. He shared that he was also not originally from Arkansas and it was nice being able to talk to someone who could understand my struggles adjusting to living in the area and even gave some recommendations of where to visit. He eventually had to help elsewhere, and so I checked out with my bulbs and was on my way. So yea, thanks Jesse for not only helping me find what I needed but also the conversation! read more

I believe the original premise to put customers first has gone away. I used to love shopping here. 5, yes FIVE employees were just hanging out at the self checkout. I asked how to check out the boards I had just had cut and one associate literally stood the board up to herself to determine the height. Well of course I KNEW what size I bought but just needed help entering it into the SELF check register. After that I got to my car to see if the hitch I bought would fit, yes, it did but I discovered after opening it, I didn't need the 1/2 pin because it was included. Something one of those 5 could have told me if they were worth what they are getting paid. I promptly went back in to return it. When I asked an associate and they mumbled an answer as to where the return desk was, a CUSTOMER said "that wasn't very descriptive" and kindly showed me where it was. Maybe at least one of the 5 could go onto the retail floor and asked customers if they needed help. ‍ read more

This location is smaller than other locations. You will not find everything at this one. You will have to go to North Little Rock to get a bigger selection. The staff is nice. Plenty of staff to ask a question or get help. read more
