We ordered fence panels online, paid, etc when the order was cancelled by the Fairbanks store. Were they out of stock? NO! The exact panels were sitting out front as we pulled up. We go in, pay for them, asked for help, it took over 30 minutes, a call to customer DIS-service, and me running in to find a "manager". Any REAL manager would have 1-apologized for the inconvenience of the order being cancelled rather than the blank stare I got. Then he would've walked his rear outside and helped himself rather than, "Let me find...". Corporate needs to take notice. This store is dying and it's because of the way you don't care about customers.

This family needs our oven! Next had a problem temperature sensor switch. Parts not made but Tod was able to cross reference with other parts and found a substitute that was in stock. I could have ordered on line for 10X the cost but thanks to the expertise of Tod and staff saved $$$. The first part might have cost mor but I had no problem paying a bit more to save time and going back paid off. If your handy and repair your own appliances those is where you need to go for all parts. Online not always the best! Brick and mortar or stick build still king in some rems!

Maybe they only repair what they sell, Miele/Sebo. Proceeded to Kirby of Fairbanks. Got there around 3 PM, was called by 5 PM that vac was ready for pickup. Outstanding customer service that went above and beyond just fixing my Dyson. Owner gave me very helpful instructions on keeping my vac in good working order. Recommend Kirby as first stop for vac repairs.

But I have also been a Woodway customer for 30 years and continue to be. Last year, they warranted a part on our 25-year stove (purchased there), no questions asked. This year I bought a new Toyo, and they were competitive with the best prices in Alaska. They may no longer be 'the little guy,' but they are definitely dependable, local, and have been here for the long run.

Which there was no way for us to know until we brought it home and took it out of the packaging. I politely asked the manager to do anything to make it for us and he declined saying "we're delivering you a new one that makes it right" he also acted like I was out of line for even bringing it up. It's wild to me that any manager in customer service would not apologize for such a mix up and offer at least a minimal discount or anything at all to make up for the store making a major error where we do not have the correct mattress for an entire week and having to deal with rescheduling etc for such a large purchase. Providing the product that was ordered is not "making it right" for your company's error. I work in customer service and would never handle this in such a manner.
