It is one tire mind you. Just one tire. Then get told shipment came in and it will be a week yet again. No tire, theyre still going through the supply. Visit them in person get told I will hear back later today, or tomorrow. No call. I call them back and get told it will be a 20 minute wait until I hear back. About 45 minutes later I get a call back, and I try to reach out with no luck. I still have not heard back and it is now a month. The roads are getting icy and dangerous to drive on with a spare doughnut tire. Still waiting on ONE TIRE. read more

I love to check different Costco when I travel. I came to this Fairbank Costco during my Alaska trip and tried their food court. we got pizza, chicken bake, churros, and fruit smoothies. I have to say their food tastes better than a lot of Costcos. Especially the chicken bake. The outside was crispy and not too thin. Inside was filled with chicken, cheese, bacon, and caesar dressing. It was hot and fresh. Very tasty! Another surprise was their churros. I had bad churros in another Costcos before, it was hard and old. Over here it's crispy, soft, and fresh. Yummy! read more

Tire center, my friend order a a set of winter tires on line, so he received and email with the confirmation and was ask to set an appointment to have them change, email with the appointment said arrive 15 minutes early. Well I arrived 20 minutes before, counter person took longer time to take care two customers in front of me. Once was my turn No tires they said these were not received, well 49 minutes later guess what? They found them now not sure how long will they take to change them. Remember I was schedule at 8:00 pm, my car was pull in until 8:32 pm and we'll see the nightmare. Definetly this place sucks for service read more

I am a huge Costco fan, and love to visit local locations on my travels. There is nothing exceptional about this branch, in fact it seems smaller than my home branch. But the prices for groceries are still way cheaper than dining out. And best of all, their food court has burgers, something I've only heard of but never seen at their locations. My tummy was still to filled from breakfast so I didn't try it, and am hoping to make it back. Gas wasn't much cheaper than other stations, and gas buddy even said one close by was a bit cheaper. But I do think the quality of Costco gas is much higher than most others. Ultimately, love it or hate it, it's exactly what I expect from Costco with some fun local finds. read more

I bought tires at the Tire shop - I purchased the tires then made an appointment for a day they "promised" it would be done in 90 minutes. The appointment was 12 days later- it took them 3 hours and 20 minutes!!! Then to add insult - I had to return the next day for a torque test - "oh it will only take 15 minutes " I was told. A week ago, I went to the eye care section to see if I could order color contacts for astigmatism. The worker, Karen, assured me that she tried some on and was 99% sure that we could order some. I just had to get my eye doctor's approval. After talking to my eye doctor, I came to Costco to order some color contacts for astigmatism. The worker, Karen, told her coworker, who was helping me at the time, said she never tried some on and completely changer her story. The worker, Karen, lied to my husband's face and her coworker about a mistake she made when she could have just told the truth. Seems like the people at Costco are not genuine and are liars. My first visit to Costco Fairbanks was so fun! The employees were very nice and working as fast as possible to get people through there check out line. We ordered a pizza from the food court and we had it in our hand in less then ten minutes! That is the fastest we have ever gotten a pizza in fairbanks and for only $9.95 The girl at the pizza window(hayleigh?) was super nice. I wish they excepted tips! read more

tire center... probably the worst place in fairbanks you can go for tires. i went on monday asking to get my donut tire off and replace it with the tire i had brought. they told me there was a hole in my tire and said he would show me but instead showed me a hole on one of their tires. they told me they wouldn't do it so i went to GCR and they found no holes or anything wrong with my tire. i absolutely do NOT recommend coming here for tires, the people are lazy and have no idea what they are talking about. read more

Very happy to have this Costco in Fairbanks. The employees are always super helpful and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. I go there a lot and have only ever had interactions with two less than stellar staff. The pharmacist Amanda and tech Caleb are great and Amanda has gone above and beyond in her dealings with us. I really like the products they carry. Their 800 thread count Kirkland brand sheets are amazing! The first time I ever slept on them was at a very expensive Airbnb in Boston. I loved the sheets on my bed so much I looked for the tag and was shocked to find out they were Kirkland brand! I'm very pleased with this Costco and their employees ! Even when lines are long, they work very efficiently and it doesn't take long to check out. read more

Can't visit a new place without visiting their Costco. We were in Fairbanks on vacation and our first stop was Costco. We loaded up on goodies to work on during our stay in Fairbanks. Got a ten pound box of Alaskan king crab legs which was glorious. The prices are on par with the pricing in the lower 48. Deeply discounted Sorel boots and winter coats were to be seen. Croissants were smaller and paler which was a curious observation. The food court had a cheeseburger which i haven't seen back in California. Alcohol is cordoned off in a separate section as all alcohol is in the last frontier. Outstanding oak roasted smoked sockeye salmon was to be found in the deli. read more

I was in Costco today. When checking out, I was told that if I put my renewal fee on automatic bank draft, I'd be entitled to a metal travel mug. When I stopped by the customer service center, I was told that the cashier was mistaken, and that I wouldn't be getting a travel mug, because I'd already paid my 2021 membership fee (2 minutes earlier). I asked to speak to a customer service manager. 5 minutes later. No manager. I had to leave. When I got back to work, I called and talked with a manager, named Curtis. He patiently listened to my story, he assured me that he'd go directly to the people I'd talked with and straighten this out. Further, he took my name and said he'd set one of the travel mugs aside for me. I would have given them 5 stars, but I DID have to call to get what I was promised. A big 'high five' to Curtis and to Costco for hiring people like him. He was able to make 'lemonade from the lemons' I'd received. read more
