After looking online at…read moredifferent places and seeing that many of the models we were considering would not be shipped or available for more than a month - I have four children living at home, no way could we go a month without a dryer! - and were simply out of our price range we headed to Express Appliance. I had given up hopes of getting one of the nicer dryers and began looking at very basic models. However, I was able to get an awesome extra-large capacity (did I mention the 4 kids?!) dryer for several hundred dollars less than anywhere else - bringing the price right into our budget. Yes, there was a dent on the side, but seriously who will ever notice that? And honestly, who goes in your laundry room outside of those who see you first thing in the morning with all your own personal dings and dents! Tim was amazing! There was a black smudge on the front of the (white) dryer and I asked him if he thought I could paint over that (I wasn't too concerned about it, but just in case I wanted to make it look perfect) and he offered to do that for me before we left! He helped my hubby load it into the back of our minivan (4 kids, remember...) and we had it home and running before the next load of laundry was ready to be switched (4 kids, remember... laundry is an everyday event in this house) and I love it. It works perfectly and even if there is a problem I have faith that they will stand by their word to help me get it fixed, but I do not see that happening.

UPDATE: So shortly after I posted this Mr Appliance called…read moreme. We talked about my problem. Marty came out and said the board is fine but my washer shouldn't be wobbling like that. He wanted to replace the struts, but didn't want to charge me any more money because he wasn't exactly sure if that was the problem. So he came out again replaced the struts. That didn't work. He said it could be a spot weld that needs re-welded or the ring is shot. Neither is worth fixing since we can buy a new washer for that amount. Mr Appliance didn't charge us any more money. They did right by me and I wish this was a 5 star but one employee needs to learn to keep his ears open to listen to customers and not voicing his opinions. Thanks again for making it right. This place doesn't listen to you. First off I told the office to call my wife, since she is home and I'm at work. I told them that the control board was replaced but it wasn't calibrated and personality checked properly. That is why it is unbalanced all the time. So Curtis showed up and right off the bat said sounds like the motor is going out, front load washing machine never clean your clothes, the pedestals are the problem, shock absorbers are causing it to be unbalanced, and finally said it was the struts are going bad (I mean the shocks). The entire time the burners on the stove never worked correctly or rarely at best and the oven had similar problems. By not working correctly I mean you would select medium heat for one of the burners and find it heating at the highest (boil) level and then intermittently varying the level of heat. The oven also did not heat correctly but with a little experimentation and trial and error I learned to adjust to these oddities. Now 14 months and 6 days after I purchased this item from Appliance King the oven's heating unit caught on fire in two spots. I luckily was standing near the unit and noticed that it was on fire (in two spots) and I just turned the oven off and that took care of the problem but the oven does not work at all now. So I dug out the receipt and reviewed the "Warranty" information and this is the exact way their 6 month warranty was worded "6 month warranty - (IF NOT IN THE FOLLOWING CITIES (BOISE - EAGLE - MERIDIAN - STAR-KUNA - MIDDLETON - CALDWELL, AND NAMPA), ITEM MUST BE BROUGHT TO APPLIANCE KING FOR WARRANTY REPAIR) Notice the word NOT here in the first line of this "Warranty. In other words, the warranty is NOT in effect if you live in the Treasure Valley area (where you purchase anything from them). Based on how it's worded it means to me that there IS NO WARRANTY AT ALL UNLESS YOU DO NOT LIVE IN THIS AREA. Not that the 6 month warranty would have helped me but I find it odd that this company offers a 6 month warranty ONLY if you DON'T live in this area. I will now be looking for another range but I can guarantee that I won't be purchasing anything from Appliance King. And I will be examining the "Warranty" before I pay for another range.

But any how I get it back with a piece of fabric with really nice stiching under my needle. To show how good it was sewing I guess. So I go to use it and the bobbin thread makes a big jammed up mess on the under side of fabric. I look at it and they have the bobbin casing but in wrong. So I got my screw drivers and put it back like it is suppose to be done. What machine they used to sew on that piece of fabric. Because it wasn't mine.

And never called me when it was finished. They did some extra work on my machine when I got it back that I wasn't expecting. The owner's wife said they did a lot to it, including using a Dremel which really bothered me. Got it home tried it out. It's making a metal rubbing sound. I used it for a few days not happy with the way it sounded. I know my machine and it was smooth running before. I took it back. She put it on a padded cushioned platform and it sounded OK. I couldn't get it to act up. As soon as I took it home, it started again. So I used it for a while and then it got worse. The thread started tangling like dreadlocks. So I was on my way to take the machine back when I decided to go someplace else that would've been the third trip back. I found a nice place in Boise that worked on it. They tried it out and they could immediately see there was a problem. It took them a while, but they discovered my wick was missing from my machine, the face plate was sticking up, and the feed dogs were bent!! I knew something didn't feel right. It was wobbly when I got it back from Johnson's. Before these folks took over Johnson sewing center. It used to belong to the uncle. he was a very nice guy and really knew his machines. He told me he was going to train his nephew to take it over. The place now is rundown, filthy and the outside is worse. I'm never going back.
