Personnel cannot make a simple key right, I watched one just shove the key blank into the cutter crooked, and when machine stopped the didn't verify copy matched original, and slapped it in my hand, and walked away. I picked up both keys and checked them on against the other and they did not match. Tossed the new piece of garbage "key" on the table and left. Constantly ask newer personnel where some item is located when it is not present in location listed on website and they have no idea who to ask for help, they make up excuses about actual inventory never matches quantity on hand. If you ask an old hand they know right where to go to get what you are looking for, in most cases when it is outside on a rack, not in the store. Management has to address these issues.

He deemed the chair defective upon purchase and the warranty company stated first that the chair had been discontinued. Lazy boy told me that I could use their website, just enter the style number. Lazy boy stated that they were still making the chair and that the parts needed to fix the chair were free But Shewels still denied my claim. At best, they would offer an instore credit. When I attempted to use my instore credit, the Store then informed me thatthe credit could only be applied for another chair, that I could not use my instore credit to purchase a mattress. While in the store, I reviewed their inventory list where bedding and furniture were used interchangeably in their wording. In my opinion, since this particular chair was defective upon delivery that it was not of good quality and I was pretty much forced to choose another chair which could also have been defective. Beware of purchasing anything from this store and don't bother purchasing the warranty. This ordeal lasted a year The chair I purchased did not hold up a year. They will never see me again.

I notified the local office while the movers were still in my house. I was told that someone would come and fix the issues. During the course of six months I had dealt with the most unprofessional company. I was giving a service call date and the person never came. When I call the 1 800 number for the service company I was told that I was not at my house and I explained that I was there that whole entire day and no one ever came, the business insisted that it was my fault that I missed the service call. I was eventually schedule another call and when the person came they brought a recliner mechanism to fix my furniture even though I did not have a recliner and I explain that to them. They told me to keep the recliner mechanism and will be back another day. When they came back to fix it again they only fix part of the problems but still did not fix my fabric issues. Overall the company has awful customer service in return for the bad customer service I simply asked to be refunded for the delivery fee which was $75. I was told no. I was given the runaround and when I eventually went into the local office to speak with the manager she was very rude, she yelled at me and told me I had to leave the business after I made a $300 payment towards my furniture. Needless to say after 6 months going back and forth trying to get my furniture repair and dealing with the bad customer service I eventually returned the furniture and I will now tell anyone who is considering doing business with Schewels not to. I will refer them to Farmers or any local companies who sells Furniture other than Schewels. From the incident I feel like the company sole goal is to give you crappy furniture and be done with you. They don't stand behind the issues that may come with the furniture they will simply give you the runaround. It's an awful company from the corporate down to the local branches......
