I always have a great experience at Oh La La Nail Spa! Today I had an appointment with Katie, and…read moreshe was absolutely amazing. She was professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend both Katie and Ooh La La Nail Spa if you're looking for excellent service and beautiful results!

I've been a loyal customer of this salon since they opened their doors. Over the years, I've spent…read morethousands of dollars here and have referred countless friends and family because I genuinely believed in the quality of their work and the way they treated their customers. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. First, I received a pedicure--the same pedicure I've had here literally hundreds of times. I happened to see a technician I hadn't been to before, and it was, without question, the worst pedicure I've received at this salon. The service felt rushed from start to finish. My cuticles were not fully trimmed, my feet and toes were still rough when I left, and it honestly felt like very little care or effort went into the service. Because this was so unlike my usual experience, I politely messaged the owner afterward. In all my years of coming here, I have never once reached out to complain. I wasn't asking for a refund or any compensation. I simply wanted to let him know I was disappointed because I have always held this salon to a higher standard. Instead of understanding where I was coming from, I was met with a defensive response. The owner actually sent me screenshots from the salon's surveillance cameras showing me during my appointment, along with timestamps of how long my "massage" lasted. My concern was never whether the steps of the service technically happened, it was how they were performed. A massage can last several minutes and still feel rushed or inattentive. My complaint was about the quality of the service, not whether someone could prove it occurred. As a loyal customer, that response was disappointing and honestly made me feel dismissed rather than heard. To make matters worse, when I checked out after also getting a dip manicure, I was told I would be charged an additional fee because of the length of my natural nails, supposedly due to the amount of product (dip powder) used. For context, my nails are a completely normal length; not long, dramatic, or anything out of the ordinary. The way this was handled was embarrassing. Two employees stood at the front desk taking turns measuring my nail bed multiple times to determine whether I crossed whatever threshold they had set. It literally came down to a matter of millimeters. There was no pricing notice posted anywhere in the salon, and no one mentioned this additional charge before or during my service. It was simply added at checkout. It's not even about the dollar amount. It's about the principle. When you're already paying premium prices for services, surprising customers with undisclosed fees and nickel-and-diming them over a few extra millimeters of product is incredibly disappointing. I'd much rather put that money toward tipping the technician than paying a surprise surcharge. After years of supporting this business, referring new clients, and choosing this salon over countless others, I expected to be treated with a little more appreciation, understanding, and respect. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, dismissed, and frustrated. This entire visit left a very sour taste in my mouth. Sadly, what was once my go-to salon is no longer a place I feel comfortable supporting. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, and when people ask for salon recommendations, I can no longer recommend this one with confidence.
