People were super nice I bought a groupon for around 40$ for cluster lashes They aren't really the same as eyelash extensions because they aren't individuals but a cluster of eyelashes She used the short ones on me after they were put on I think I would have liked them a little longer for my liking I don't mind the the smell of smoke but I know some people do and I could tell she was a smoker from her hands touching my face I notice the bottom of the lashes weren't glued on properly so it some times tilts up Maybe the eyelash extensions would be a better fit for me because I did not like the cluster lashes read more

I was hesitant to go here based of the previous reviews, but I always drive past the salon and figured I would give them a chance. I'm glad I did. Oscar went out of his way to not only fit me in on a last minute appointment but was patient in supplying me with details and making me feel very welcome. My artist was Joanna. I have nothing but great things to say. She was very detail oriented and you could tell she cared about her work and my comfort. I was walked through the processes step by step. I was so relaxed I even fell asleep lol. She made sure I was not only happy with service but the finished product. The salon over all was clean and tranquil. This was my first time there and yet I felt like I've been going there for years! Very calm environment. I went in for classic individual lashes... I ended up getting cat eye hybrid individuals and brow tint. I absolutely love the look of the lashes (I'll update my post to let you know how long they actually last). The brow tint was much more bold than expected but Joanna kept revising until I was happy. I will definitely be coming back to Joanna's salon. I had my lashes done here, and while my lashes looked great, when I had them removed my natural lashes were destroyed!!! I was assured there would be no damage to my natural lashes and that was a lie! They were short, stubby, extremely thinned out, and generally a disaster. I hope they grow back to the way they were! I'll start by saying that I've been going here the past two years for eyelash extensions so it stinks that I gotta leave a negative review. When I first started going here, things were good. My lashes looked great and held up a long time, they got back to me quickly with scheduling, and they were on time. The past few months, I've been waiting 10-15 minutes past my appointment time consistently. Why do I have to be on time but they don't have to be? Also my lashes are falling out a LOT quicker. I'm not doing anything differently. If anything, I'm being even more careful with them. Today was the last straw for me. I waited 20-25 minutes past my appointment. No one acknowledged I was even there and no one told me how long of a wait to expect. I have never minded waiting but just be up front and give me an eta. Eyelash extensions are a commitment and I have no problem with that. After supporting this business early on, I will be looking for another place to do my lashes monthly that focuses more on quality and customer service. Sorry. read more

Joanna is an absolute doll. So far I have done eye lashes, hair color and hair extension appointment later this week. She goes out of her way to fit me in and not an easy task for my crazy work schedule. I asked for something subtle and natural since this was my first time trying extensions, but I ended up with super thick, super long, super black, slightly uneven lashes. i went here twice. the first time i got my lashes done i absolutely hated them and it was obvious they looked terrible. but the girl who did them kept lying to me and herself.. "omg girl they look so gooood !" yeah ok sure. they promised me if i came back for another session, they would alter them and make them look more natural (bc they seriously looked ridiculous). they were the same length from corner to corner on my small eyes, the lashes were going in 10 different directions, overlapping each other, and they were so long and curled they touched my eyebrows. so i come back for another session and BEHOLD they still looked ridiculous. about $400 later i felt defeated and i gave up. they don't care about service, they just want your money. don't come here read more

Joanna is a master at the lash selection and application. She personalizes the length, quantity and placement of each lash. She was well trained and I felt very confident that she knew her stuff. I went to Joanna's because of all the good reviews, however, my disappointment started with the room being too cold and I was never offered a blanket. While my lashes looked good once done, they started slowly falling off everyday after. I was told by Stephanie, who did my lashes, that I should make my 3 week appointment at 2 weeks because they fill up fast. So, I texted at 2 weeks (already really needing them done) requesting an appointment, it was a Tuesday. I was asked what Date I had in mind and answered them right away. Three days went by, now Friday, and I received nothing, so I texted again. I was answered with "we don't have anything available today I will look into the soonest available next week please allow us some time to get back to you"...what!!? I waited 3 days for that!? Needless to say, I called Amazing Lash Studio in Geneva, IL on Monday, got in 2 hours later....my lashes look better then when I went here, BTW, it is now the following Wednesday night, 5 days later...nothing, worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. read more
