Purchased a lightly used smith and Wesson shield on 12/31/2017, went to the range on 01/01/2028 and the weapon kept jamming, slide would lock with ammo in the magazine and failure to eject rounds. I took it home thinking maybe it was the cheap Walmart ammo, and a friend even suggested to clean and oil it which I did. Went back to the range on 01/03/2018 and pistol functioned a little better but slide kept locking with rounds in the magazine and sometimes the slide won't go into battery when loading a new magazine. Called AB Pawn on 01/04/2018 and ask if used weapons had warranty and I was told it depends on what happened, I explained the situation in detail and he told me that Smith & Wesson has lifetime warranty, which I checked their website and it's lifetime for the original buyer, so I asked if I could bring the Gun in and get a store credit for another one and I would pay the difference, I was told I would only get half of what I payed for the Gun that I bought less than a week ago and wasn't functioning properly. This place was highly recommended by a friend of mines and this was my first time buying a Gun from them or even a used Gun, despite the Gun appearing to be in good condition you just can't tell without running a few rounds through it. This is not a bash to the company but this was a negative experience I had with them, and don't believe this was good customer service! read more

I have been a shopper at A&B for many years, since their old location. Howard the manager is a very fair guy to do business with. The staff is competent and helpful. A trip to this store is always a pleasure. To some of you that posted a negative comment, as someone that knows about the gun business, please allow me to enlighten you.....for example no one gives a warranty on used guns, even new ones have to go to the manufacturer when there is a problem. Gun warranty is complicated, there is a lot of liability and laws that apply when you have the gun for a few hours or days and now the shop has to take it back. One is....they have to hold the gun for 30 days before selling it, so now tie up their funds because you are new to guns, don't know what you are doing , maybe afraid of the recoil and the gun didn't cycle properly...buy a revolver while you put on some big boy pants! Learn the hobby/business before posting a negative comment please.....these guys are the best! read more

I have been a customer at this location for about a good 10 years now. They wouldn't let me use my wife's credit card because she wasn't there with me. But I was going to spend $50 on three packs of ammo 556 and one tiny bottle of a gun cleaner.
