I came to Goldmine Gun & Pawn to do a Firearms Safety Course that is required in order to obtain a CCW Permit, I had only been to the gun range once with my brother before so I had very little experience using firearms but the instructor Michael Andrews was very helpful in explaining everything and making everything very easy to understand for someone with very little firearm experience. I love the tips and knowledge that he shared with me about how to properly handle a firearm, proper safety and usage. Michael even explained to me the best ammo for different situations when I asked him and answered every question that I asked him with a passion that you could tell he knew what he was talking about and loved his job. Michael also explained the different laws for different states and the consequences if the laws arent followed (which are pretty heavy consequences) so I always appreciate knowledge that could be helpful before encountering potentially dangerous or bad situations with heavy consequences and I really appreciate the warnings he gave me for my safety and the safety of those around me. I definitely enjoyed my experience in this shop, the people were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Goldmine Gun & Pawn for all your firearms needs or questions. read more

The instructor, Joaquin, was very informative during the course. He provided real life scenarios of the importance of gun safety. The course was straight to the point. We went for a concealed carry course. What a great experience! Daniel was friendly, personable and answered all my questions-- I asked a lot -- and really knows his stuff. I was with my wife and, much to her surprise, also enjoyed it. Now, much to *my* surprise, she wants to go to the range with me to learn how to shoot. Highly recommend! read more

Beware Of intimidation tactics they told me my item was fake and wouldn't give it back to me and locked me in the store until I had to call the police to resolve the situation. As soon as it became evident that they weren't gonna let me leave and at one point they were saying you have two options, I started recording them for my own personal safety and have an audio recording to substantiate my claim. Thankfully the police came and they wrote a report for the incident but the store started doxing my name on a popular Facebook group for a watch buying showing my license with all my personal info clearly an intimidation tactic and a real threat which I Threatened to sue them if they didn't remove it. read more

Apparel fabric starts at $6.99 per yard and goes from there. Overall a great store to find specialty fabrics. I didn't see silk, but I probably missed the section. Our CCW Firearms Safety Course was led by Daniel, who is Ex-Military, and was super knowledgeable about firearms and practical safety tips in Florida (as well as in other States).
