These guys have customer service down. I deliberately waited to see how they would resolve an issue I had on a purchase and their customer service is what will keep me coming back. I recently bought a new home and had trouble finding a balance between insanely expensive furniture and very cheap furniture. Their prices were low but the quality was high. If you're expecting the absolute top notch then probably not for you, but it was perfect for my taste and price point. When I had one item come packaged with the wrong parts and one item damaged they did not hesitate to exchange it. The delivery was fast and painless. I visited seemingly every furniture store in Annapolis and these guys blew them away. Lastly, the building looks like a warehouse. I'm sure that's how they saved money and lowered cost. Perfect for me. But don't expect a world class showroom. These guys didn't pressure me into buying anything but were attentive and answered any questions I have. Highest recommendation. read more

Would love to give this place more stars... but once they swipe your card... they have no concerns for you. Found these guys on Facebook as we were looking for a bunk bed. Understanding that this is a discount furniture spot, we figured they'd have a decent selection on hand. Was right about that! Messaged the owner Josh and he seemed like an involved owner. I inquired about the hours since it was a holiday and he confirmed they were open. Found a bunk we liked and it was in stock. Got the price to a great point and decided to add on mattresses. That's where the issues came.. after a lot of back and forth we settled on two (what we though) pillow top mattresses, one of which was on display and was the floor model. They then mentioned they had it in stock and we even ended up paying $80 more because they said they'd lose money on the deal... I get it... offset costs from the actual furniture we bought. Loaded the car up? Confirmed that the colors were right.. mattresses were in boxes and vacuum sealed.. didn't think I'd have to open on the spot to confirm, SHOULD HAVE! Got the furniture home, put together the bed, very happy with it. Opened the mattresses and they were two different mattresses and neither one was what we "thought" we were getting. Messaged Josh through FB politely explained the mishap, confirmed we were happy with the furniture, even gave the sales person a nod of approval... his response (see screenshot below). After following the owners advice and messaging the sales guy.. he was short with me and ultimately stopped responding. I'd say, come here as they have a nice selection... if you buy a mattress in particular... OPEN BEFORE YOU PAY as they have an "all sales are final" stamped on the receipt! That seems to be where they're not as transparent (or aware) of their inventory. The bunk bed we purchased was very nice. Looking up the manufacture and this model, great reviews and we got an excellent price. Id actually prefer having received no customer service, to the service i did get. Even the owner is short and unfriendly, does not seem to care, and will do everything possible to pass the blame of absolutely anything onto you, the customer. If you happen upon a piece you want, check the one your getting BEFORE giving them any money (open the box, inspect it, try it out). Theres no guarantee with this business that youre actually getting what you ask/pay for. And once they have your money, they just dont care. We got an okay price but the service for warranty was horrible. We bought the Italia Leather set and had a couple of spots with flaking of the leather. We contacted ABA sales rep numerous times with no response. Then another sales rep gave us the managers Umber and he weighed in and promised to look into and never followed through. Upon arrival, they raised the price $800, after just a day and half. I stated it was bad business practices to raise price on an existing quote, knowing, that we were coming in. The Salesman said that the Manufacturer had just issued a price increase. The manager said the salesman was working off of a price sheet that was old. They then became indignant when I confronted the two different excuses. One of them, but more likely both of them lied to us and tried to work a scam. I would give 0 stars if I could. I made the mistake of ordering my sectional from ABA furnishings back in April of 2021. I was told 4-12 weeks for delivery. I was never contacted by the company once, not at the 4 week, 6 week or 12 week mark to let me know my couch was delayed. I called several times and once was told July, then the 2nd week of August. It took me several tries to even get anybody on the phone. I initially tried texting my sales rep - Mike - just for an update - no response. I finally sent an email and got a hold of the owner - Josh, I asked about my couch and explained I didn't have a couch so I really needed my couch. He said "things are just back-ordered because of covid" I said "okay" and then he randomly went into this rant along of lines of "right, why would you care, who cares, why would you understand" etc. I said "I did not say that" and he did calm down after that, but it was so odd he just randomly lashed out, I mean I'm the customer. And little does he know I work in prehospital medicine and worked all throughout covid & with covid patients. Josh then offered me a loaner couch. I was happy with that, well until I came to pick out the loaner couch. Josh again was the one I came into contact with and the moment after I said I was there for my loaner couch - he became so full of animosity, frustration and disdain, he sincerely made me uncomfortable. He speed walks me to this tiny love seat covered in black fake leather, ranting the entire time and basically says- that's all I got. At this point I just want to get the heck out of there. I did not say a word I just left. That was the final straw for me - I was done. I later emailed him requesting a refund. He tells me I have to pay a 20% restocking fee - um, what is there to restock? He doesn't have my couch, and after speaking on the phone with another employee the day before- it's still in the beginning stages of the process with the manufacturer. I'm really at a loss. I've just never dealt with a business owner who treats customers this way. Literally some respect, a decent loaner couch and the occasional update on my delivery date and I would have been happy. It's a shame, they do have nice furnishings but dealing with this company and the owner is not worth any possible savings. My boyfriend and I came here to purchase a couch. We were told off back that because of the virus that we will be getting our order within 6-8 weeks. We purchased our sectional on Jan 23, 2021... it is now May 27, 2021 and we have yet to receive a thing. Zero stars. Avoid this place like the virus. We ordered a sectional from this "store" in March of 2020. We were initially told 6-10 weeks but that got pushed multiple times. We were very understanding, until this "store" cut off most contact with us besides a simple text saying "sorry it's delayed two weeks." This was becoming untenable come late summer and we still did not have our purchase. Any contact with the "store" was through our associate Mike. While he tried to be helpful he was unable to provide any answers when I was actually able to get a hold of him. By October I was finished with this place. I called Mike who was short with me and just told me to call Josh, the owner. So I did. This clown that calls himself a businessman told me I would not get back 20% of the order because of a "restocking fee". At the same time I am being told that my furniture might be delivered next week and a few moments later I am told it might not even be built yet. At this point I told Josh I wanted a full refund, as they did not have my furniture they didn't need to "restock" it. He refused and I told him he was leaving me no choice but to file a chargeback with my bank. He said fine and tried to hang up the phone. What he didn't realize is he failed to hang the phone up as he called me and my wife assholes and fucking idiots. I know how dare we want the items we paid for. We filed the charge back the same day and it just came back in our favor which means the merchant is at fault. I got the full amount back. Only place to get good reasonably priced furniture in all of Annapolis! Mike was a great sales associate and helped me pick out the perfect sofa. I've been without a couch for a while and really wanted to get one soon. I chose to buy the floor model so I could get same day delivery which was awesome. The delivery staff were also friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the only downside was when the delivery truck showed up, it wasn't covered in plastic or anything. I understood I was getting the floor model; but, I think a furniture store should have some plastic or covering rather than have my couch be driven on the roads and highways with nothing to cover it. If I would have known it would take over 2 1/2 months and who knows how much longer I would have never purchased furniture from this company. I spent over $5,000 and I am in the customer service business I expect a little better. Overall my sales person is a nice guy and things are at the mercy of the delivery but I told him I don't want to wait much longer than a month from my order and I'm still waiting. There were a few reviews on yelp that were concerning about the owner being a bit rude but, we decided to go and take a look as we were looking for a bargain to furnish our new house with. The gentleman who waited on us needed some help in the skill set of being a salesman and managing helping two customers at once. He was friendly at first as we walked in and was helping someone else and invited us to look around after asking us what we were looking for and that he would catch up with us. We found what we were looking for pretty quickly but most prices are not marked so it's difficult to know exactly how much something is without a sales person right there. There was constant going back-and-forth to the show room and the room with the computer. So we were just waiting to find out prices and availability for a good 45 minutes minimum as all of this transpired. My husband and I overheard the sales person on the phone, while we waited, using curse words regarding an unrelated matter which isn't what you want clients to hear. After the 45 minute wait on a price check he finally returned once my husband stood there waiting for him. In the process there are these off looking glass structures that mimicked drinks that were spelled which had fallen when I had gotten up from a chair that I was sitting in (after being in a place with no circulation on a hot day and waiting so for so long with masks on.) I wasn't quite sure if I had broken it or not but there were some other items that had fallen and so we let the gentleman know about it. Once we did a very expressive man came in to sweep it up and his body language told us he was not happy. He was also making some remarks about things not having a very long shelf life. I was a bit taken back by his brusque manner/nature and asked him what he meant and if you need any help but he assured me he was just fine. Interesting. Later on he had left the office area and look like he had slammed the door so I asked the gentleman who was waiting on us was he OK and he told me I don't know, that's the boss. So, that was a bit concerning. Now I realized he was the Josh, aka the "gentleman" that's been cited in some of the other bad reviews. It was actually my birthday that day and this hour and a half that we spent there was the only unpleasant part of it. Had a to do it over I never would walk back into that place again. We actually ended up going to REGENCY and purchased our whole bedroom set, a whole dining room chair set (which they actually gave us lower than the price that ABA quoted) and another piece the next evening. We are very excited about our July 4th delivery. My husband is very frugal however we are in agreement that we would've paid double whatever they offered to be treated differently than we were. I bought a king bed for my son who got stationed here for the Coast Guard and was sold the wrong bed rails to match the headboard and footboard. I returned the bed and have never ever been treated so poorly as a customer. Josh is probably the worst person I have ever dealt with as he didn't want me to return it. Josh did say he could get me the right parts but they were not in stock and I wasn't going to wait. Josh charged me a restocking fee for something that was there fault. Josh had me unload the bed myself because he was so pissed off that they screwed up and I brought the bed back. Josh talked crap about me while standing there and had to give me a paper check instead of putting it back on my card. I would give this place a zero if possible. I can't wait to see the response from Josh on this as I see everyone that doesn't give him a good score instead of living up to it he likes to throw insults just like he does in person. We received beautiful furniture for a great price. The showroom is more of a warehouse, but that is why the prices are so good. Mike was extremely helpful when we needed help, but also gave us the time alone in the warehouse that we needed. Never felt any pressure. The delivery process was awesome! Zero stars for this place! Saying the owner, Josh, is unprofessional, is a true understatement. This place was recommended by a friend, whom I trust and highly admire. I purchased a sectional (according to the salesman, Howard, was the most popular piece in the store) on May 26, 2021 and two months later a sofa table (which was in stock and I took with me) and matching end tables. Both orders had a 6-12 week min delivery. I wasn't too concerned with the delivery time as I was remodeling and didn't need my furniture until Thanksgiving. However after reaching the 12 week mark in Aug & Oct respectively, I began asking if there was an update on delivery, always getting the same response, "another 2-4 weeks". Sure I was a bit frustrated but still had months before Thanksgiving so I continued to be patient. This scenario was repeated several more times (sometimes in person with the salesman, Howard). Finally as the 6-month Mark was upon us, I visited the store again only to be told by Howard that I was 2nd and 3rd in line for my pieces but it probably would be early Dec (7 months). By this time I had already gotten rid of my old furniture to make room for the new and was a bit panicked as out-of-town family was visiting for the holidays. I was expressing my frustration to Howard when the owner, Josh, (who was in another area in the warehouse) overheard my conversation and began to yell and talk over me. Like many of the other reviews, he was highly agitated, rude, obnoxious, extremely condescending and basically ranting loudly so that I couldn't speak. I kept asking him to allow me to finish but as soon as I started speaking and challenging him about the extremely long wait time he would start ranting again. He said if I couldn't wait for my order, then pick something off the floor or cancel. I was ready to cancel on the spot, but because of Howard's kindness and the fact that I was in a bind without furniture, I was willing to wait it out another month. After returning home, and sharing my horrible experience, with my husband told me to cancel my order and that Josh doesn't deserve our business. I called Josh and told him to cancel at which time he became very belligerent and nasty. He said, "Do what you gotta do Hon" "if you want to get the 80% refund from us you can or use the full amount as store credit. Otherwise I guess we are off to court if you're incapable of calling and canceling the charge yourself ". I questioned the restocking fee when my furniture hadn't even been made. He claims it's standard store policy that all sakes are final and cancellations require a 20% restocking fee. That statement in itself is an oxymoron. He again claimed that this policy was stamped on all receipts, however my receipt doesn't have the stamp. He said "Doesn't matter it's a uniform policy. Sometimes the guys forget to stamp the receipts". I explained that his explanation wouldn't hold up in small claims court. Again he responded, "Well if we gotta go to court we gotta go to court. I'll refund you the full amount minus the restocking fee unless a judge tells me otherwise, or unless you charge it back yourself. If you're backing out of your commitment do it all the way not 50%" So I took his advice and went through my credit card company to charge back 100% of my remaining orders, explaining that only a portion of the order for tables was to be charged back. My receipt wasn't itemized so I didn't know the exact split. Josh would provide the exact amount in his counter claim. I received a vulgar text from Josh on Thanksgiving morning calling me a "dumb b^#!h" for charging back the entire amount. So obviously he didn't counter the claim with the split costs. He threatened to call the police and told me to "please never come to our store again." "We are better off without people like you around to do that to us." He's playing the victim with no empathy or sympathy for his customers. In true narcissistic form (in reviews here and complaints on BBB) Josh will try to claim he doesn't know who I am, I never bought anything from his place, or that my story is BS. Wait for it... Had a bad experience with this store for a mistake that was made on their behalf. When you are explaining what happen and the employee proceeds to curse and belittle you over the phone and doesn't apologize that's extremely bad customer service save your time and go to a reputable furniture store such as Ashley's or Value City who offer the same 90 days same as cash financing if you need it plus you will have your furniture before you are well into making payments. My husband and I went to this store in search of a sectional for our family room. Upon arriving at the store, we saw a sectional we really liked and looked similar to one we saw at another furniture store. We proceeded to walk into the store and was greeted my the owners dog (a friendly Boxer). Josh also greeted us and told us to look around. We saw a few other pieces but really liked the sectional out front. Josh gave us a great price for the sectional that we couldn't refuse. We wanted it on a different color so he ordered one for us. He said it would take two weeks but the sectional arrived in less than two weeks. We were very pleased with the ease of the purchase and the quality of the furniture. Honestly the bad reviews are kind of odd to me, the staff were very friendly as soon as we stepped in we were greeted and guided in to their smdisplay room. Our salesman let us look around and didn't hover over us if we had any questions he helped us out. Obviously due to the covid situation business isn't completely normal in any industry right now so things are backed up and people are waiting on delivery. We needed a couch ASAP as we just disposed of our old two, our salesman immediately informed us of the wait times on furniture that they didn't have in stock and even helped us by going around and showing us every couch he had in stock and telling us the prices. The only thing I think could be improved is having prices on listed on the website near the furniture pieces in the store. Since our item was in stock we were really fortunate to be able to get next day delivery! The movers were super nice I was stressed about being able to get the couches in as I have a closet as soon as you enter the apartment and the guy made it seem like a breeze. All in all I would recommend at least stopping by here if you are in the area and trying to find some new furniture. Called to find out if they had a bed, spoke with Josh who advised us they had a bed, exactly what we were looking for and it would be $125. We advised that we would be there on Friday to pick it up, Josh says great, just come on into our store. He gives us the address and we drive from 2 hours away and when we get there they have absolutely nothing in reference to what we needed. He tells us to go drive around and waist our gas and go find something else then. The worst customer service I have ever received. I couldn't believe how badly he treated my family and I. On top of all that, they allow a dog to run loose in their store. The dog appears to be malnourished and has some terrible skin issue. I will never recommend this company this company to anyone. I had a few questions about some items that I paid $1500 for and was told it would be in the store withing two weeks. 80 days later I still haven't received the product. I asked for my money back and was told there was a 20% restocking fee. How is there a restocking fee when he never ordered my product. When I called him out on this the manager Josh had the nerve to yell at me saying I was in the wrong because I never followed up with them. My wife left a review on their Facebook page but I'd like to share our experience elsewhere in hopes of helping any potential buyers avoid the same experience. I came here last year after seeing an ad on Craigslist for a coffee table set. My wife, mother in law, and I drove together to Annapolis to see it in person and to check out the selection of bar stools and sofas/love seats to furnish our new home. We were hesitant pulling up as we were not expecting a loading bay but decided to look around anyways, as we had already made the drive. We told them about the coffee table set and were shown the set that was advertised. It was, in my opinion, far overpriced for the quality so we decided to move on to look at bar stools instead. There were a few styles in stock and at that point we knew what kind of sub par quality to expect but figured that they might be a nice set to start with and upgrade to something of better quality later. At this point, the salesman and owner had momentarily walked away to allow us to look and discuss things. My mother in law wasn't impressed with the quality and knew that by choosing those bar stools that we'd be settling on something we didn't love and wasting our money. She remarked to us (NOT to the salesman) about how we could find something of better quality and much less expensive if we'd wait it out until spring when garage sales started. It's a small location and we were situated next to the office. The owner heard her remark and apparently took it personally. He had barely acknowledged us when arriving but you'd better believe he had something to say about her comment! He stormed out and proceeded to yell at my mother in law, telling us to leave his store. My wife and I were in shock. Never in my life have I witnessed anything like that. If you are in the business of dealing with the public you have to take the good with the bad. By the way, nothing said was untrue. We live right outside of Ft. Meade and have found outstanding deals on home furnishings and furniture from military families being relocated. We go to garage sales just about every Saturday morning when they are in season. We have no issues with gently used items and, in fact, did end up purchasing three high quality bar stools from a couple who was remodeling their home and wanted a new set. We paid $75 for three of them. The owner, Josh, might not have liked what was said. He may have thought she was attributing their furniture to "junk" (which was not the intent, though it undoubtedly is not high quality) but regardless, you NEVER treat a customer like that. We have told everyone we know to steer clear of this store and will continue to do so. You get what you pay for with this place, that's for sure! Where to start? A business in which the marketing ploy is to plant a hand written sign at a local gas station claiming to offer queen mattress and box spring sets for $125 with a cell phone number to contact. That's not a problem. It is in fact what lured me in since I just so happened to be in the market for just that particular item. What a deal right?! Not so much... After contacting the "owner/sales rep/ secretary/HR dept", I was reassured that the item I had inquired about was indeed in stock, better than the rest, and at that particular price. I was offered a chance to come purchase the product a few days later, being reassured that the company would have exactly what I needed in stock, and that I could come pick it up from their showroom/warehouse/loading dock/office. Feeling confident, I told the owner/etc. that I would agree to deal and drive the 2 hours from Southern Maryland to pick up the product. He was excited to tell me a lot of business spurred from this area because there was "nobody else that was selling between my home and his company/etc.". Upon arrival I was greeted at the door by a friendly dog, and the crew working at Atlantic Furniture. The dog is free to roam around the store, not that I personally have a problem with that, but knowing others may, just beware. The dog is very friendly though. Then the experience went south... So bad in fact it inspired my wife to open a yelp account and warn others. My wife warns others of the experience that we had together there. If her warning sways you, I can say thank her for it. The item was not in stock, the advertisement seemed to be a ploy to get my family into the "showroom" no matter what the stake. The mattress was 2-3 inches thick, lol, and was twin sized (not queen). A queen mattress was then offered too me for more than double the price of the original offer. HA... Thanks but no thanks. After explaining I had driven 2 hours for the deal agreed upon over the phone, no attempt was made to recover from the lack a so called "offer" on the company's behalf. In fact, it was quite the opposite. They assured me I would find no other item at a better price, however in the bed of my truck right now is a mattress and box spring set of incredible quality, 9" thick, pillow top, and was purchased new in the original wrapping for $150. But on my way out the door the owner/etc. said to my wife, son and me "feel free to drive around all over the place trying to find a better deal". And I did... with ease and better service. The company seems to have no concept of business ethics. I felt as if I was shooed out the door. To finish everything off, the owner personally e-mails my wife after reading an honest, but poor review. GET THIS: instead of offering to help change what was already a poor experience in any way possible, the owner blatantly calls my wife a coward in the e-mail, and provokes her to come and "say it to his face". Really?! I would have gladly argued what was wrong with our experience to the "owner's" face if I wasn't standing there with my 2 year old son. To call somebody a coward, and provocation of poor interaction?! What business does that?! ........ This one does! Thanks for insulting my wife, and offering me a non existent product so I could come to your personal hangout/showroom. I too was inspired to open a yelp for the first time account just to give you a poor service review. Simply because that is what the business is... My wife and I just moved to Maryland and we had went all over looking for a new bedroom set and couldn't find what we were looking. We decided to drive from Lexington park to annapolis. We searched for furniture places and Atlantic bedding and furniture was first on the list. We arrived and walked in and a gentleman named Dylan Hamilton greated us and explained how they do business here in Annapolis. We walked through to see what they had Dylan came to check on us once asked how we were doing and explained if we didn't find anything in their show room that they had a very large iPad with all kinds of furniture. So we sat down with our 1 year old and let him play with it till we found a 7 piece set that we liked. The set was ordered and a few weeks later arrived at the wearhouse and we drove back up to pick it up and make a day out of it in Annapolis. Dylan was like no other sales man in the furniture business he lets you have time to look and decide what you want instead of following you around and bugging you like all the other furniture stores did so thanks Dylan for helping us find the perfect set. read more

We went here looking for a couch. I googled furniture stores in Annapolis and this was the only store that was in my budget. We used GPS to get there and realized it was taking us past all those signs along West street. These signs are completely necessary if you don't know where you're going and they bring you right to the front door. The warehouse seems small but they will order things for you in other colors. There aren't any price tags on the furniture but the sales guys are quick to give you a quote without following right on your heels which really bothers me at other stores. I really liked a sofa bed that they only had left as the floor model and they quoted us $400 which I think was a great price but to sweeten the deal they gave it to us for $400 tax included. They loaded it into the truck for us and helped my husband tie it down. I found exactly what I was looking for at a great price and the staff was helpful. I'm satisfied. read more
