I can only speak to the optical shop where I've had mixed experiences. The second time the lenses were fine but the frames came back in not the same condition that I returned them and then the situation went from bad to worse with repeated visits to the shop to readjust them and the frames ending up damaged from what appears to be inappropriate use of metal tools on the plastic temples. Maybe we've finally gotten to the root of the problem, but it took more visits than I would have liked.

We wanted to be checked for things like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts etc. I told her what our Medicare Advantage Insurance was and she assured me they accepted it. on that basis I scheduled us (my wife and I) for appointments this morning. We traveled 45 miles each way this morning to early morning appointments only to be told they DO NOT take our insurance. Do not trust them. Whether it was a deliberate act or the product of or incompetence, I wouldn't trust anything they tell you.
