We wanted to be checked for things like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts etc. I told her what our Medicare Advantage Insurance was and she assured me they accepted it. on that basis I scheduled us (my wife and I) for appointments this morning. We traveled 45 miles each way this morning to early morning appointments only to be told they DO NOT take our insurance. Do not trust them. Whether it was a deliberate act or the product of or incompetence, I wouldn't trust anything they tell you.

I can only speak to the optical shop where I've had mixed experiences. After recently picking out a…read morepair of frames and having them set up for progressive lenses, sure enough they came back with the "sweet spot" not in the right place and had to be remade. The second time the lenses were fine but the frames came back in not the same condition that I returned them and then the situation went from bad to worse with repeated visits to the shop to readjust them and the frames ending up damaged from what appears to be inappropriate use of metal tools on the plastic temples. Maybe we've finally gotten to the root of the problem, but it took more visits than I would have liked.

When I asked about a service this practice offers, something another physician had mentioned that I knew nothing about, Dr. Lee told me I was "way out there," gestured while saying it, and said I was "putting the cart before the horse." I explained that I didn't know anything about it and was asking for that reason, which seemed to further irritate him. I was not arguing or challenging him. I was trying to understand. Instead, he became increasingly defensive and condescending. I repeatedly had to remind him that he is the provider and I am the patient, and that I rely on him to help explain my options and wouldn't know if I didn't ask. It was very strange. The interaction escalated to the point that I told him I was shocked by how I was being treated. He agreed the conversation had become confrontational. Since my questions were still not being answered, I ended the visit on the spot and let him know I would not be continuing care with him. My eyes were dilated, and no protective shielding was offered during the exam, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Luckily, I had my sunglasses. I will not be returning and felt it was important to share my experience for anyone who may be hesitant to post. I would also encourage those considering him to read a few other reviews (if you look his name up directly), and read yelp reviews. There were many reviews that were concerning to me as well. You can be your own judge. What stands out is not disagreement, but temperament. In a professional setting, the ability to communicate calmly and tolerate reasonable patient questions matters. The intake staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The office was clean and inviting. This review reflects my experience with Dr. Lee only.

She let me know of the situation extremely bluntly. I had been waiting months for this appointment. I was visibly disappointed and she said she would go check with the doctor, she got up and walked away shaking her head. So rude. When she came back she asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no thank you, I was upset and needed to regulate before creating a new appointment. She proceeded to start offering me other dates and times and I reminded her that I had said no thank you and it felt like she wasn't respecting my words. The doctor that used to be here was amazing, idk about the new guy, but this honestly sucked and this woman was extremely rude. I wish we lived somewhere with more options so I didn't have to come back. ALSO- I made the 10 minute policy and waited 3 minutes while she finished her call and was too late because of her call... Beyond the frustration of this interaction and not being able to attend my appointment, the way this woman treated me was extremely unprofessional and she is clearly in need of further training.

Understood our situation & got us right in to see the doc!! The doctor was absolutely invaluable with a plethora of information!!! Applied the necessary eye band-aide contact and we were in and out!!! Entered with the most excruciating pain and left feeling like (almost) new!!!

When I arrived I filled out a lot of medical history and my allergy to a drug. After going through…read morea long exam and measurements I was prescribed a drug to which I have an allergy, that was clearly stated in my paperwork. No one checked. Then I went to drive home - no one said I would need a driver. I drove a short way and discovered I shouldn't drive. I have no cell phone and have a handicap tag because I can't walk far. It did not go well. And they are charging me over $200. I cancelled the surgery. Don't go.
