My mind was immediately put to rest as Carol gave us a tour of the very clean boarding area and the outdoor play area. While we were on vacation, she sent us video of our dogs playing happily in the play area, looking carefree and joyful. When we got back, our pups looked great as they give a complimentary bath with boarding, and they were happy as clams. Another wonderful bonus is that Chateau de Paws is in the same building as East End Veterinary hospital, which is staffed 24/7. All in all a great experience and we will definitely board our doggies at Chateau de Paws in the future!!

I recently filled out the online questionnaire for a puppy adoption and received a prompt message that all was fine with my application and that all required was a call from them to my veterinarian. Two days later contacted ARF to get an update. The cold reply from ARF is that they gave the puppy away already. Never a courtesy call back or message to share the news that my application had been tossed because someone showed up while ARF awaiting callback from my Vet. Happy the puppy found a home. Very disappointing client relations with ARF. People who fill out all those questions on the application are already emotionally vested. Terrible community relations. Maybe ARF should get the veterinary part of the interview process done first so this kind of BS doesn't reoccur.

We stopped in to have his toenails professionally ground down before an AKC dog show and the team did such a phenomenal job. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and they handled Brady with such enthusiasm, care and patience - which my 100lb 'ish' Labrador appreciated as much as I did! Jennifer, the owner, was especially gracious. She shared fantastic advice on keeping Brady's coat looking its best and recommended some great grooming tools and products that I'm excited to try. It's always a pleasure meeting someone who truly understands the breed specific nuances of grooming show dogs and an experienced team that takes such pride in their work.
