I called from out of state to order flowers to be delivered for my daughter's birthday as a surprise. Pros - very professional over the phone, very helpful, promised exactly what I ordered when I asked for it by name - I had checked their website. Was delivered that very day, also very appreciated. Cons - they apparently did not have the Gerberas I ordered, and although they had my cell number, made no attempt to call. I would have preferred to select something else. I had wanted something big and colorful. What was delivered was pink, boring, and flat, like arranged in a box. SOOOOO disappointed, I can't believe I spent $75 for something I did not request and that I did not think was pretty at all. They did refund my delivery charge - but how do you fix such a disappointment? read more

We used them to make small arrangements for our wedding cake, sent them the picture and confirmed everything before leaving. We went the day of our wedding to pick up the arrangements only to find that they did not do the arrangements and then told us they didn't have anyone available to do the arrangements to fix their mistake. We left and my husband figured it out himself because he's talented and was able to save the day. But they added unnecessary stress to a very busy day. Then Amy, someone girl who works there, did not like our review of the service and thought it would be in their best interested to call us and tell us our feelings and experience was incorrect and not valid. What kind of business calls customers to tell them their opinions of a service is incorrect. Amy should be fired. Would not recommend this. Plenty of other options. Awful experience read more

Via email and within a 2 hour time frame LIsa's team not only designed one of the most stunning arrangements but had it delivered to Mom straight away! I am not from the Champaign area but when my grandfather passed away I was chosen to pick a floral arrangement on behalf of the 20+ grandchildren. While in Champaign with my mom doing some finalization for the service, my sister and I visited Abbott's Florist and met with Erin. She made us feel so comfortable, having never did this before and gave me excellent advice. She made me feel very confident and understand the importance of my decision. I was concerned and really wanted the flowers to be right. I even spoke with Erin the next day to ensure I was ordering the right thing. On the day of the service the flowers were perfect! Not a good experience. My mom ordered flowers to be delivered on my birthday as a surprise. They were not delivered on my birthday and they called me ruining the surprise and then were not flexible on the delivery time. I scheduled a consultation with Abbott's Florist for my wedding and reception flowers. I met with a girl named Erin on a Thursday afternoon. My appointment was at Noon, and I got there about 11:45. She told me to have a seat and she would be right with me. At 12:10, she finally came out to sit down with me. She rarely looked me in the eye when speaking to me. The appointment itself went pretty good. I felt like she understood exactly what I wanted for my wedding and reception flowers, she even gave me some great ideas of things I had not thought of. When the appointment was over she said that she would email me a price list of everything Monday or Tuesday of the following week. 1 week later, I still had not heard from her, so I called the shop and was told that she was not in. The woman took down my phone number and email address just to make sure Erin had my correct information. She informed me that someone would call be back that afternoon. Three days later, still nothing. So, I called back and Erin answered. I explained to her that I was unhappy and did not understand why I had not heard from anyone. She very rudely told me that she was in the process of typing up the price list and would send it right away that day. It has now been another week and I've heard nothing. No email, no phone call, no nothing. Needless to say, I will not be using them for my wedding or any other event in the future. Mind you, they are a small family owned business and I was planning to spend close to $3000 there... I will gladly take my business elsewhere! read more
