Plus, I specifically asked that that the owner (only CPA in the mix) review and sign my father's return. She did so, but she intentionally did not include her CPA designation which was my sole reason for the request. I now understand why. What an embarrassment to her profession. I made an appointment with Perry Cronin, and gave him all relevant paperwork. About a week later I received a phone call from Mr. Cronin, and he told me that not only did I NOT owe the IRS $6000, but they owed ME $6000!!! It took almost 3 years for my case to be settled, but Mr Cronin handled it all for me, and I finally got my $6000 direct deposited to my bank account. We first knew Bob Ezekiel (God rest him), who was a fine and honorable man. After his passing, the same spirit of professionalism and kindness continued. We are grateful to Caroline Dorris Banky, Paul Jones, Emma Preston, Wilma, and Taylor. Each of them has helped us in meaningful ways over the years. Paul Jones came out to our home early one morning to take photographs for our homeowners insurance. Some might say that is simply part of the job, but we appreciated his willingness and professionalism. He has also helped when we had questions about roadside assistance and other matters. He has been steady and dependable. Emma Preston has assisted us with our auto insurance and has always been pleasant, both over the phone and in person. Caroline Dorris Banky and the rest of the team have consistently taken time to explain things clearly when they might otherwise feel technical or confusing. Wilma and Taylor have also been helpful and professional whenever we have worked with them. Parking is easy and conveniently located right at the door, which is something many people appreciate. The waiting room is very comfortable, the magazines are up to date, and the office is clean and welcoming. In the hot Alabama summers, it is cool and comfortable inside, and during the winter months it is warm and inviting. Communication has consistently been prompt, and we have always felt respected and never rushed. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel hurried or impersonal, this office stands out. I have never dealt with a more incompetent group in my life. The receptionist never answers the…read morephone. You leave messages and the calls never get returned. The agents do not care if they have your business or not. I even spoke with Skip the owner and he was worse than the employees. I have to call the insurance company directly if I have any questions or need to change anything. Every time I call the insurance company they remind me that my "agent" should handle things for me. Nesbitt and Associates is so bad our insurance company suggested switching brokers.
