They accepted our offer shortly after listing. We soon learned that they subsequently accepted ANOTHER offer from another buyer and had 2 active contracts in place. When we raised the legal issues of this, Kym Ottaviani took over for Anya saying that she was inexperienced and did not understand things. After the rough start, we were afraid that Kym and Anya were going to make the closing as unfriendly and difficult as possible. Sure enough, Kym became difficult to reach, was unresponsive to our calls and requests for info. In the end, we ultimately decided that trying to work with Rex Realty was not worth all the headache and did not go through with the transaction.

Right now (Sept, 2024) there's construction in the building (can't hear it) so it's a little hard to find in the offices in the building but it's absolutely worth the effort. He gave me his personal number and said he can do it for cash on the weekends. We ended up getting another estimate for half the price. I asked the office person to have him call me and so did the realtors and buyers. We got nothing but a canceled sale from the buyers because the estimate was so high. What a joke this company is. It's takes a long time to build a good reputation but you can destroy it really quick when you have dirt bag employees.

Nice pool (always clean and serviced), quiet clubhouse with a TV room and fully stocked library maintained by a few of the tenants. The office staff have always been happy and kind during any interactions we've had. A good percentage of the park are "snow birds" so the park gets really quiet for about half the year. The return of the birds means more social events at the clubhouse which is always a great time. Our neighbors and people we've met in the park have all been great too. We aren't members of the HOA and there's no pressure to join it either. We made a good choice moving here and have no regrets.
