If budget is not an issue, this is a great place to get inspiration and find colorful and distinctive pieces for your home. Bright throw pillows, crazy glassware, and interesting decorative touches abound. Not cheap, though! A pillow had caught my eye that turned out to be $375. They also have a surprisingly large jewelry selection. There is a little of everything or just go to get ideas. Check out the restaurant that is connected. I have had a couple of very good meals there!

First of all, I have always loved this store. I learned while I was there that they had downsized (and later I found out, they had filed for bankruptcy). I dealt with Catherine, who was very lovely and had so much patience with me. I was deciding on purchasing either a sectional or sleeper sofa. After 3 hours of contemplating and checking out rugs upstairs, I finally pulled the trigger and bought their Bond Street Desiree Sectional Sofa - I loved the deep pink shade. Catherine said that there was 1 in stock at their warehouse and it can be shipped to me in 1 - 3 weeks! Perfect! Well much to my surprise, they were able to deliver it within a week. The guys that came to set up told me that the screws to attach the legs were the wrong ones. What? How on earth? Close to $6,000 couch how in the heck did this happen?! So, they left it and they said someone should be calling me soon. Well, no one did. So I called and left a message - no one returned my call. So I emailed them - I get an automated response that they will respond after 24 hours. Great. So the sectional is sitting in my living room w/no legs. After a couple days of sitting there, I started noticing some things: the sofa is a much deeper color - almost a purplish color! In the showroom, it was a deep pink/mauve color. It looks nothing like the one in their Manhattan store! Not only that, the fabric feels off - it doesn't feel plush like it did in their store and the cushions sewing is off - the ends of it are pointy and the bottoms of the cushion sewing is off as well! Sofa is so dusty and there's markings! It's supposed to be velvet - cats are unable to leave markings on velvet - this one does! They also claimed it was performance fabric! I think they used cheap materials for this sofa. This was a poorly made sofa that they were trying to get rid of it. I think it was sitting in the warehouse for a LONG time! I don't want this sofa anymore and I just looked at their return policy. UGH. This sofa is not worth $6000 - heck it's not even worth $600. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM HERE. If you don't believe me, check out Google and filter it for worst reviews. I wish I had known.

Visited again more recently, it's even worse. Cheaply made awful imported Christmas ornaments, plastic glitter, hideous colors, so sad.

I loved ABC carpet. I have always considered it one of my favorite places to shop for gifts and home furnishings until I bought furniture there that has fallen apart and was misrepresented. I bought what I was told was an oak bed, dresser and bedside tables, and couldn't have been happier. Then a little more than a year later my solid oak dresser and end tables started cracking and the thin oak veneer lifted up on its own to reveal composite wood underneath. I bought furniture labeled as OAK. I would not have purchased it if it said oak veneer. ABC misrepresented what they sold me. I would call this FRAUD. ABC would not do anything to make this right. DO NOT SHOP here. You never know what you are buying, AND if you want furniture that only lasts a year, you might as well go to Ikea and spend a lot less money.

Every time I try to type this review it is deleted. A beautiful expensive store. I've been here many times over the years. I share the same opinion as Cam! I have reviewed this store and posted photos in the past. The last visit I was with my daughter. My review and photos are gone. Sorry

ABC Carpet & Home is a beautiful six storied furniture and carpet store located near the Greenmarket of Union Square and the Flatiron design district. A great area for furniture shopping and interior design! I find ABC à very good source for ideas, and for unique designs that are not your typical retail names and designers on the beaten path. True, they are pricey, but I have found a few things in the antique department that were very reasonable in price, well crafted and lovely. ABC is always a good place for ideas and just a jewel of a store to explore!

I'll be honest- the closest we've ever been to an ABC Carpet & Home- was actually when they had their Warehouse Outlet in The Bronx- not far from Hunts Point. Hubby and I had first gone there in the mid 2000s to pick out accent pieces for the home and still have them to this day. But word on the street has been for a year or two- ABC in NYC has downsized. With the exception of some outrageous wooden coffee tables, insane sofas and overpriced lamps- 3rd floor is quickly disappearing. First floor though- has almost everything you could possibly need to fill your home. Merchandise spoke to me with their mix of worldly Bold, but- soft, airy, neutral and eclectic styles. We'd finished with Lunch at ABC Cocina and just for kicks, decided to take in the sights. For the sake of argument though, we didn't purchase anything-maybe it wasn't meant to be that particular day. Pocket-friendly is not. But who knows, you can probably grab smaller items with a decent price tag.

I contacted customer service and sent photos to which they responded, "It must be moisture, that's why it's rusting." My guests, who are not frequent, put their shoes in the cubbyhole. They certainly do NOT put soaking WET shoes for days in the SAME CUBBYHOLE to make it rust this way. Otherwise, this is where I store my cookbooks. They offered me an outsourced furniture service to 'fix' the issue AT MY COST. The fact that they won't listen to me, or admit this is a faulty piece of furniture, and help me replace it is mind-boggling. For over $700 and Less than a YEAR in my home, NOT EXPOSED CONSTANTLY to WET SHOES makes ZERO sense why this is happening. And instead of being of assistance to keep me as a customer who has spent over $3.5k at this store, it is just sad and VERY BAD service. One would have to keep a wet rag in place for this to have happened in this amount of time.

I've been increasingly desperately in need of replacing my ~20-year old silverware that I think I purchased from a Bed Bath & Beyond for maybe $20. As it turns out, there's a pretty massive range of cutlery sets on the market, and I felt inclined to see and touch several options before making a purchase, especially if I'm going to drop substantially more than $20 on a replacement. This Crate & Barrel definitely doesn't lack for choice, but my transaction wasn't nearly as simple as picking out a box of new forks and knives. On my first visit, I narrowed down my selection based on aesthetics and material. I learned that I don't love textured metals, and I mildly prefer satin finishes over mirrored ones. I also discovered how massive a range in pricing there is between entry level cutlery and the high end brands. After reading several online reviews, I also determined that I wanted to purchase 18/10 steel for its durability. After all that, I'd figured out that C&B's Aero line (which seems to be a rebranded Cutipol product) might fit the bill, but I wasn't thrilled about the two-tone version they had on display. According to their website, they carry an all-metal version in store, and one of the employees was able to confirm it was in stock in the backroom, however, I had somewhere else to rush off to and decided to come back another time. On my second visit, I bee-lined it to the silverware section and waited to hunt down an employee who could help me obtain a set of the all-metal Aero cutlery. 10-15 minutes later, I finally got to handle a sample. This shit isn't cheap. I wasn't quite prepared to drop several hundred bucks on new silverware, but the store associate came up with the most brilliant idea: after confirming that there was no discount for purchasing multiple sets at once, she suggested I just buy one set to try out for awhile. That way, if I hated it, I wouldn't be out the full shebang. Genius, truly. Several weeks later, generally satisfied with the tester set, I returned for an additional three to round out my cutlery collection. It's a good thing I waited, too, because somewhere during the intervening time, they went on holiday sale for 20% off. My frugal inner Asian granny delights in a discount! Again, I had to wait around for a (harried) store employee to use their magical mobile app powers to summon a minion from the backroom for the ever-elusive non-displayed silverware and was -- eventually -- rewarded for my patience with a trio of shiny (more affordable!) utensil sets! All told, C&B offers a wide range of products. If what you're seeking isn't on display, there's a non-zero chance they might have more hidden away behind the scenes, so ask for help. And before arrival, be sure to gird your loins for a wait, because I've yet to encounter a scenario where there's an overabundance of staff standing around ready to assist.

He from the beginning was impatient in answering our questions about items and was showing attitude for no good reason. We had a terrible experience in their store when we tried to order goods worth more than $3000. He made a mistake in the order. When we asked him to cancel, rather than cancelling the order, he made a duplicate order without notifying us. Our card was charged twice without our approval for the duplicate order. He, after making the duplicate order, told us that we should come back and return the duplicate item when it arrives to get back our money. We were surprised that our card was charged twice without our approval although we were standing in front of him when he was putting in the order. We asked him to cancel both orders as we did not want to come back to return the duplicate item. At that point he became even more rude and was extremely unhelpful. He said the store manager was not around to resolve this dispute, although it seemed he was the store manager. He didn't seem to care that he lost a customer who was ready to buy goods above $3000. This staff should be held responsible for not only losing a customer forever for Rejuvenation and ruining William Sonoma's reputation but also because he was non-transparent to the customer and charged their card for a duplicate item without their approval. Be very very careful when you order anything in the Rejuvenation store and double check what they are charging on your card.
