The one she was attending was good... but it's amazing what actually a big difference between good and great is. I am glad we made the switch. It was easy too. This school feels more like family...you feel comfortable. You won't feel uneasy asking any question if you need to. Or with anything. They check ids and who is on the actually pick up list if you need to have someone pick up. No one can just wander in the building. They also provide lunches here so she actually eats her lunch and enjoys eating what everyone else is eating (healthy!). She not comparing or not wanting her food if someone else has something different. During this pandemic, they put in place over the top procedures.. to make sure the kids that needed the care during this time were safe and it has been!! They pay attention to all the small things! Communication is excellent. I know what she learns every week, how she is doing, whats happening at the school, etc. The teachers and the staff are all wonderful. Our daughter loves it here. I would drive an extra distance to bring her here. I could go on about this place. It's worth the wait (or the transfer, like we did) if there is a waiting list!! Couldn't be happier.

The center keeps us well informed of everything going on, offers many activities, and a variety of learning methods. Nina is the assistant administrator who is nice, but it seems that every complaint falls through the cracks with no resolution. We have been told multiple times that corporate will follow up with us, but we have never received a phone call or email. I have called the school several times in the past month to speak to Karin and Nina. I have also sat down face-to-face with them several times but no resolution has been made. I understand that bits may be age-appropriate for toddlers, but receiving 9 in such a short period of time is unacceptable. Today I found another bite on my Toddler with no notification from the school. Clearly, no one is holding their word when they say they will keep a closer eye on the Toddlers in the class to limit the biting. I told the school I would like a call from the regional manager to talk about what would be done to resolve this issue. Update: The school never called, so I had to call in to get an update on what they would do to help limit classroom biting. They informed me that a 3rd teacher would be in the class during the moments the main teachers are handling lunches and diaper changes. Although this sounded promising, they had already told us this would be implemented several weeks ago. At this time, we do not trust the management and have decided to enroll our toddler in another school. Reflection: The Kiddie Academy is very clean, and the staff I have dealt with have been nice to my toddler and me. We left because the administration couldn't be trusted to keep their word, and management never helped with our situation. Also, the morning teacher for the next age group 2+ I would hear her yelling at the kids in the morning and could be heard from the toddler room. On a few occasions I thought about stepping in to say something because no kid deserves to be yelled at but I am kicking myself because I never did. I do not want my kid to start thinking biting is okay. And I do not want my kid to get yelled at when they age up to the 2+ year old class. While we had a positive view of the teaching staff, the front office and administration operate with a "profit-over-students" mentality that is deeply unprofessional. Following our withdrawal, the school has intentionally withheld my son's academic progress reports and evaluations to use as collateral for a billing dispute. They are attempting to charge for tuition during a month in which my child did not attend a single day and are using his records to hold his future education hostage. Beyond the billing issues, I find the Parent Handbook rules to be overreaching and abusive. Most alarmingly, the handbook explicitly states that they can change any rule at any time without notice, leaving families with zero stability or protection. This level of obstruction has forced us to involve the Florida Department of Education and Step Up For Students compliance offices. If you want a school that values its families and acts with integrity during difficult transitions, look elsewhere. This is not a supportive or transparent educational environment.

In that short month, we had already seen an improvement with the change of ownership. I can't say enough about how much this daycare has improved since the new owners took over. The difference is night and day. Mr. William was very welcoming the moment we reached out about baby No. 2. It was like we had never left. They make you feel like family. I love that they decorate for the holidays. This year baby No. 2 got a little gift for Easter that was age appropriate. It's clear that Mr. William and his team have brought a real passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence.

They love going to school. These kiddos are always happy, smiling and in all around much better moods. This place has really helped turn them around and make learning fun. It's a very positive atmosphere and they love it! When we go at different times of the day, it's always clean and staff is always smiling and happy to help. They have much healthier and quality food options, than I have seen everywhere (not unprocessed/ packaged food). My son had a particularly hard time at a previous daycare. He had daily behavioral issues, would try to escape, and all around just seemed maybe bored/ unhappy. Here he is like a whole other person. They've even been taking the time, to help get him potty trained; so, he can move up in classes where he should be. He says good morning, hi, bye, have a good day, and hugs everyone in his class when he leaves and gets to school. They are just truly great with them and are doing wonderful things with these kiddos!
