She was willing to screen an applicant I met on care.com to ensure she was truly qualified and reliable. 4. She knows a LOT about being and hiring a nanny. For a first time mom going back to work and scared out of her mind about leaving her baby with a nanny, her knowledge was SO helpful and comforting. 5. The rates are reasonable and most importantly flat. Some of the other places we looked at charge a crazy ridiculous fee and their use of a % of total salary made me feel as if they were only sending me candidates at the top of my scale because they wanted a bigger referral check. The staircase leading to the second floor leads to an area draped with beautiful quilts made by textile artists who wanted to memorialize Esme Kenney, a young girl who was brutally raped and killed while she jogged near Winton Woods in 2009.
