( shouldve been my first red flag) the est was on par with the rest, i specified where i did not want my sod bought from, he agreed and came next day. he made a few trips with a pick up with sod on it. ( 2nd red flag) i came out to check a couple of times, there were about 3-4 workers and a woman overseeing them. when they left, the job wasnt finished because he ran out of sod ( 3d red flag) he came next day after noon to finish i noticed many areas with uneven hts of sod, missing sod, yellowed grass, and weird space lines throughout with jig saw lines throughout. now, im not from fla and i did not have any experience with how its supposed to look at installation so i took his word that it was all ok and would " fill in" a week later, after much nurturing, the grass is 60 percent dead looking. i call him to get advice. nothing. 3 wks later, the entire lawn on both sides of my house consisting of holes and bits and pieces ( maybe left overs from anther job?) are more evident and now at 80 percent dead. i call again for the 4th time. no answer no call or text back im running to loews and HD every other day for new sod patches, plugs to fill the holes, remedies, and im out there daily trying to bring back the dead. 4 wks now, still no call backs or answer. i paid them over 4000 cash. for their services and still had trees to plant! dont trust anyone and i should've taken 2 days off of work,watched them like a hawk and demanded the quality work and material that was promised and paid for, but definitely did not get this was a very expensive lesson learned and im considering legal action at this point i hope this post saves even one person from making the same mistake hiring this business, as i did. customers be very wary and do your homework

His hard working crew helped us prepare sandbags before the storm and clear huge amount of debris that the storm left. They arrived on time and brought all of the proper equipment needed including a large trailer to haul away entire downed trees. Before his crew arrived, Angel gave me an advanced estimate so that I knew exactly what the cost would be. Angel is professional and I highly recommend his service especially for Hurricane prep and cleanup.

BTW, no one with Schurlnight Landscaping did any of the work. Kickin Grass Landscaping company is obviously a third party contracted to put in my landscaping which they did a good job installing. However the apparent owner Rayce did show the day he said he'd be here to walk through the details of our job and the day of the job, a Monday, he said they would arrive between 8-9am to start work and would finish our landscaping and putting in our latticework. However they didn't show up until 1:30pm and only had time to complete the landscaping. 11/11 two guys showed up (roofers) along with Rayce to start our latticework. Rayce stayed a short while after giving completely different instructions than we discussed with him and he told the guys to cut out 12' painted posts down to 10' and bury 2' which means our latticework would sit in the ground and be uneven at the top because the landscaping/ground runs slightly downhill. We bought 12' 4x4's, instructions were to bury these 3 ft with 9' remaining to place the 8' lattice against them with a foot at the bottom, ensuring the top is level all the way across (level to the horizon). The 4x4's should have been 4 feet apart as the lattice is 4 feet wide. They did not follow this and where the seems of the lattice landed, not against the 4x4 posts they tie wrapped the lattice together. The lattice is a total cluster. We called Rayce back out and he couldn't seem to focus on anything other than we used vinyl lattice material vs using wood and that's why it's flimsy. We know the vinyl material is flimsy but expected runners horizontally and attaching the seems Of the lattice to the 4x4's would give it maximum support. It was clear to us that Rayce of Kickin Grass doesn't have a working know-how of how to do this type of work and sent out roofers who have never installed a lattice fence either. I would never recommend using either of these companies, they are both culpable for poor work, lack of communication and follow-through. I don't even have the confidence after this evening's in person discussion with Rayce that he understands enough or cares enough about getting the job fixed properly. They plan to come back to fix the latticework and make it right but part of the lattice fence they need to fix to make it right, they would have to take down but won't do it so they will fix some structure support but won't be actually be making it completely right.

My husband has spoken to people multiple times when calling in and they say someone will come out and no one ever has. When we originally got our pavers put in they looked great but upon further inspection, we realized that they are slanting down towards our house. So now even with the slightest rain, our back porch floods (which connects to our house door). We will never use this company again. Especially with living in Florida all of the hurricanes that we get, it has ruined our backyard. We are concerned it will eventually flood our house because of how slanted they are. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this company.

Time was of the essence and the companies that I was able to speak to were 3-4 weeks out on appointments and would not budge. After numerous attempts at getting as much as a return phone call with most of the other companies, I contacted James (the owner), and not only did he actually answer the phone (unlike many others), he was very accommodating and said he could fit me in the following day. As requested, I sent James pictures of my system and when he arrived, on time I might add, he was able to immediately troubleshoot the problem and change a small part to get my system up and running. Additionally, he fixed a few broken sprinkler heads and made sure all of my system was working properly without draining my wallet. We had a great conversation also and I found him to be honest, fair, and down to earth. Honestly, his simply showing up on time and having phenomenal communication earned him 4 stars alone. He absolutely earned the 5th star for the outstanding performance and fair price. If I could give him 10 stars, he would certainly deserve it! James did what others couldn't or wouldn't do. Steadfast informed us the technician was on his way, which was appreciated. He tested the sprinklers and marked those with issues and then gave us an estimate for the work. The technician worked late and when finished, explained the control box and shut off for the water. The technician did all that was needed to renew our sprinkler system. We are very impressed with Steadfast Irrigation and Lawn and their technician. We will call them, when needed in the future.
