If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would (are you listening Yelp?) I've been here a couple of time - to buy mostly craft beer and a wine on occasion. Their wine selection is definitely four-stars, IMHO, however their craft beer selection leaves me wanting. The deals on 12-packs are mostly older 12-packs that have sat for several months, not necessarily a bad thing, but it would be nice to see the same on newer packs. I would give this place 3.5 stars just to average things out, but I like to err on the lesser stars. The place is definitely clean, the staff is friendly and willing and wanting to help. I just wished they had a greater and more varied selection - A single display near the coolers doesn't quite scratch my itch. read more

Coming into town for vacation or headed on a cruise this is your one-stop shop for everything booze related. They have it all here and although the prices aren't great, you are in a tourist trap area. Staff was very friendly though and helped us find everything we were looking for. Got a iPhone coupon for a free bottle of cheap wine with a$50 purchase. Bought a bottle of B& B and Basel Hayden bourbon for well above $50. Cape canaveral store couldn't find first choice in free wine, then said the $50 purchase had to be a wine purchase. Nothing obvious in the phone coupon said such a thing ( I checked twice). They have everyting you need! As we were going on a cruise the next day, we wanted to buy a few bottles of wine (yeah, you can bring wine onto the cruise ship - up to 2 bottles). While in the store, we looked around to see what else they carried, and to our surprise, they got anything you would want. The staff was courteous, and friendly. This a one stop shopping mecca for your boozing needs - you can get absolutely anything here and a ton of it because they have shopping carts so you can shop hands free. My boyfriend's grandparents have a condo across the street so we have even walked here when we've run out (okay that sounds like we may have a problem - but we don't - we were just playing @$$hole with friends!!) They have an expansive collection of liquor - all makes, kinds, and flavors. The same with wine...they have a nice selection of half bottles and mini bottles (perfect for boozing on the beach with). You can get real or fake stemware and cups, all your juices and sodas for mixing, drink mixes, lemons/limes, beer, wine coolers...etc etc Prices are reasonable if not cheap and the staff is very friendly. read more

Absolutely THE MOST horrific experience! As soon as we walked in tonight at 9:50 pm on a Thursday, the store manager (bald guy with glasses, wouldn't give his name out) started yelling at us that we have only 5 minutes left and not a second longer. One of us asked for a bathroom but he was reluctant to even point out to it because "we had only 5 minutes left." I asked for the high end wine section at which he balked at and pointed to it with his finger, then continued to stress us out that we better leave on time. We politely explained we will be out before 10, so he then started calling out that we better have IDs on us (we're in our 30s by the way and certainly look it). I told him I'm about to buy several of his high end bottles and to give me a minute, to which he replied he doesn't care about that and he has strict rules and must close the store on time. Wow!!! I mean WOW!!! I've never experienced such a RUDE, and IGNORANT behavior at any store in my life, even when I stayed past the closing time. In general, when a customer is in a process of buying something, the store staff always spends the extra time to help the customer make a smart decision and complete their purchase. I was about to put my bottles away and leave empty handed because of the way he acted if my friends didn't stop me. But I will never ever again shop at any ABC again just because of this ONE bad experience. Total Wine isn't that much farther away and I was always greeted there warmly and provided with the ultimate best help. Goodbye ABC and I hope others follow. read more

Never again! Entered the store with my teenager as I did not want to leave her in the car being that it's a new city that I am visiting. She walked around with me, never touching the liquor, walking beside me and waiting for me to purchase. When I went to the register the sales associate asked for my number and proceeded to get me another item from behind the counter. At some point the stock person spoke from behind and accused my teenager of "making suggesting of the selection of the liquor" and the sales associate requested her ID. Both the sales associate and the stock guy flat out accused me of buying liquor for a minor and refused to continue with the sale. When I clarified that she was my underage child and reiterated she did not touch the items, make no suggestions, did not approach the register nor is purchasing, the stock person chimed in and referred to their store policy "everyone under 30 is ID that enters the store and that policy is that they will not sell any items if you do not show ID. " The experience was surreal and the accusations was insulting and demeaning to suggest that I would contribute to underage drinking of my teenager! Be warned... ask the staff if your child can enter because they obviously make wild and unfounded assumptions!!! read more
