On my recent cruise, we stopped at Cape Canaveral. I only had two stops on my agenda, Coco Beach and this cute little shop I read about serving some of the best key lime pies in Florida. After a sunny day at the beach, our group of eight walked to this shop and decided on buying a whole pie for $18 instead of two slices at $5 a pop. Certainly the better deal, but we also didn't want to regret later for not ordering enough. Well, it was a very good decision. We devoured the whole pie in one sitting like a bunch of starving hyenas seeing food for the first time in weeks. There was not a crumb left by the time we finished. The pie was as great as they say, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Just the right amount sour and tartness without being overly sweet. If I were to nitpick, then I would like a slightly thicker graham cracker crust. Not sure when I'll come back to Cape Canaveral again. However, if I do, this may have become stop number one on my list. You can find beaches everywhere, but an excellent key lime pies is a treasure you rarely discover. read more

Some of the best places were the places we didn't even plan on stopping by, like this place. We just happened to stumble onto this little gem of a shop after visiting Ron Jon's main shop across the street. The word "ice cream" caught my eye, and even if it was late February, the weather was warm, which is strange, given a week prior to our arrival, it was freezing cold, so ice cream it was. There was a little line in the store, with only one man scooping ice cream for a bunch of people waiting (who was also the cashier). It was funny to see how people would copy each other with choosing the flavor; the lady in front said "sweet cream" flavor, and each successive person behind her said the same thing, even if they were not with her. I stuck to my guns and got the Key Lime Pie Ice cream, which was a great choice! Sweet, creamy and tangy, all the right combo! They also have candies, salt water taffies of all flavors, beer, alligator jerky, Tortuga rum cakes, key lime pies, a huge wall of hot sauces, and gifts. I ended up walking out with a bottle of hot sauce and orange blossom perfume roller ball, which was very nice. Prices were reasonable given this is tourist-town. read more

Excellent key lime pie! It's $18 for a whole pie, $5 for a slice. Definitely pricey but it's a great, refreshing dessert. You forget what really good key lime pie tastes like until you get a really good slice of the real thing. Then every other one you have ever eaten pales in comparison. A mere shadow, not really even worthy of the name. I LOVED IT. Best I've ever had, even counting the slices I had down in the Keys. I was back in Cocoa Beach on a cruise with Bama and we had to make a stop at the key pie company. It's still as delicious as I remembered, but sadly, so many of the key lime wine and beverage companies have gone out of business since my last visit they're no longer tastings of the beverages, but they still have a small selection available, as well as beers for purchase. They have a nice assortment of key lime products, ice cream, local goods and Florida specialties available. read more

This is the best place in Cocoa Beach for souvenirs! They have a variety of delicious food items and cute postcards. A unique find is their collection of political hot sauces and exotic jerky (bison, snapping turtle, python), which may not be for everyone but definitely adds an interesting touch. They also carry a fantastic selection of Florida-made wines, beers, and other locally crafted souvenirs. If you're visiting from out of town, I highly recommend stopping by. In addition to the souvenirs, they serve ice cream and, of course, key lime pie. For gifts, I picked up white chocolate key lime cookies, Florida orange peppermints, and snapping turtle jerky. Walked in really looking forward to trying their key lime pie. The workers didn't greet me or my group and we were the only ones in the store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not a dine-in place, a laid back store that carries some excellent local products!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The gentleman who was working was extremely knowledgeable about all the products in the store. I loved the local hot sauce collection and bought a couple to take home. My father in law loved the key lime pie (slice to go) and he considers himself quite the connoisseur. He also recommends the local wines as he really enjoyed one of the dry white varieties. Unfortunately we didn't try the ice cream, but the flavors looked delicious and unique. Definitely a great stop!! read more

Big key lime pie fan here. First off you need to go on a weekend so you can meet Sweetie the gator outside first. I petted Sweetie the gator while she was getting her gator nails painted hot pink. Then we went inside and bought a slice of their signature key lime pie and some Key West key lime seasoning. There were other customers coming in just to buy a key lime pie. There were many key lime flavored items and even a key lime soda. I love this place. Plus it's a short walk and in the same parking lot from Ron Jon's Surf Shop. read more

Parking: plenty of free parking right in front. Service: they actually don't put most of their prices on their products. This place is pretty packed with tourist come in and out esp cuz it's right across Ron Jon's surfboard store. They do help out and are real friendly tho. Food: we got the gator jerky to try ($14). Interesting, some says it tastes like chicken. It just tasted like jerky imo. They have more than just gator jerky. A good amount of different jerky's including ostrich. We also got the key lime yogurt pretzels. The first few taste real good. But then the flavor gets kinda boring. It's nice cuz you don't end up eating the whole thing all at once. A few ppl also got the dipped chocolate key lime pie on a stick ($9). Would want to try in the future Def would come back when around the area. read more

I am a key lime fan, so anywhere that has a bunch of key lime stuff, count me in! This is a shop that has pie, ice cream, taffy, and plenty of other key lime and Florida based stuff. There's also a baby alligator that they have there some times (call for details). I happened to visit during an air show day, so the alligator was not there. I tried the key lime pie slice and a snickerdoodle key lime cookie. The pie was cool and the cookie was yummy (I appreciated the unique concept, it wasn't something I had seen before). I also tried some funky flavors of taffy (they easily had over 100 flavors). I'm not really a taffy person so I don't think I have much to report either way about that part of my visit. This is such a weird touristy type store. There were like three key lime pies in a freezer, uncovered not even in a clamshell pie case or anything just hanging out in the freezer, and they tasted freezer burnt and wet as well. Soggy crust, the pie itself was extremely tart but not in the way key lime pie should be. My kids described it as tasting like soap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Honestly I wouldn't have bought anything there once I saw the Trump paraphernalia everywhere but I wasn't going to punish my kids for someone's weird business choices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was going to buy several bottles of wine but decided against it and just got what the kids wanted. This place is garb. Very unwelcoming. Just a bunch of packaged fake Florida made somewhere else, you can find this stuff at "Florida Wineries, Bealls Outlet, Or Bealls or Ross for cheaper. Small ice cream selection even smaller Key lime pie selection. Really sucks bc I been wanting to come here forever but they are rude and unwelcoming to say the least! read more

Yep, it's definitely a legit key lime pie company! So many things KLP it's almost overwhelming, but also a wonder to walk around and see all they offer. But by far, you absolutely MUST try the Key Lime Yogurt Pretzels if you stop by. You MUST, you hear?! Sooooo good! Trust me, i know how weird it sounds and I felt apprehensive myself at first but so curious I had to try them, so please do the same yourself and thank me later by liking this review;) Oh, and I'd also get a slice a good ole key lime pie. That's pretty darn good too! They have ice cream as well and I'm telling you just so many other unique things to try. Not even gonna lie-- I came for the gator (Sweetie!) but left with some key lime goodies and met some great people! First off, a bit about Sweetie : she's a blind gator that was rescued by the business owner Louie and his friend , J.R. Sweetie was set to be put down and J.R. wasn't having it so the two worked together to save her . Now she lives a pampered existence and is an international celebrity (courtesy of TikTok) and regularly makes appearances at the store and other events around town . Her name suits her because she is indeed a sweetie . Louie and J.R. were so kind to indulge my love of gators and let me spend as much time with her as I wanted (even after they had closed). Their store manager , Amanda was also a sweetie - offering popular product recommendations and just being all around hospitable ! Now, onto the store . They have every kind of key lime product your heart could desire ! They also have a unique collection of locally produced products from hot sauces to beer. Not really what we were expecting? [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were expecting a store full of pies and other bakery items. It just seemed like another knick-knack shop with random touristy items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ended buying 2 slices of key lime pie and a couple of candy balls. Both were subpar. If you want to save money and have better pie with more tart, just buy some from Publix or the local grocery store. Overall, just disappointed. Our recommendation: just keep driving. read more

After a day of beaches and shopping at Ron Johns Surf Shop, we needed some authentic key lime pie and had read up on this place. Upon entering we were hit with key lime everything, pretzels, candies, beer, jellies and ice cream. My wife got some peach habanero and key lime. The peach habanero wasn't spicy but had a Lil twang and delicious and the key lime pie was tangy, her words. My key lime pie was tangy and delicious. We also got some key lime pretzels, a key lime coconut bar and a Trump2024 chocolate bar. It was awesome speaking to a fellow MAGA Republican. Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.

Our waitress (I think her name was Ryan) was prompt and took our drink order. We then ordered the wings. Very flavorful! Smoked and grilled with buffalo on the side. Fantastic smoked flavor. We tried the shrimp and girts, buffalo chicken sandwich and barrira quesadilla. My son got a Cookie Monster milkshake. Everything was flavorful, hot and delicious. The atmosphere was a chill vibe with live music and lights and games. We will definitely be back!

The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.
