Not sure why the reviews are so poorly. I've always have had an easy experience coming here. I pass the Winn Dixie Liquor Store to pick up my regular Absolute bottle. It's a $6 difference, which is worth it to me. I recommend joining the rewards program because it's FREE, and the perks are well worth it. With the membership, all of the freebies are listed next to the prices, such as soda, and ginger beer, just to name a few. Publix even the supermarket- is a better choice Been here more than once and it's a "take a number place we know more than you do" If you know what you want they might have it and will think about selling it to you. They don't keep a standard like veuve clicquot chilled they have "other fine champagnes" to push . If you want a helpful well stocked establishment think about other places, where you have a better chance to be treated kindly. They do business by default. Giving this the one star because I have to. Went in a little before nine with a group of friends and the manager wouldn't serve any of us because one of my friends didn't have her license. We didn't realize the hour and asked her to hold our stuff and said we'd be right back. She agreed to hold our stuff and didn't say anything about the time or that they'd be closing. When we returned five minutes after nine her and the coworker she was with refused to look up and acknowledge the fact that we were there knocking on the door. Wouldn't even give us a look or explanation when we could see our bottles sitting on the counter. Knowing that the liquor law allows sales till 10, we would've at least appreciated an acknowledgment. I've never received such terrible customer service. I've been a regular customer for the last couple months but now I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We had the greatest experience tonight trying new wines and taking home some new variables we would have not otherwise if it wasn't for her knowledge and understand of all the wines!! Horrible customer service. When I went up to the counter to pay, the cashier couldnt care less about a simple hello, or thank you after paying. Her total lack of customer appreciation reflects on who ever owns this store. Their are PLENTY of other places where I can give my money to. This ABC Fine Wine & Spirits will not be one of them. read more

Terrible costumer service skill. The assistant manager refused to sell me alcohol even with a legal id. I was so embarrassed. She assumed my age and actually kicked me out of the establishment on front of other people. Not even knowledgeable enough to recommend wine. No one asks if you need help and if you ask them they don't know. After a 30 minute drive to be declined service for a ridiculous reason. Just don't come here read more

I've visited this place many times, but my recent experience left me wanting to take my business elsewhere. I went here with a few friends and we weren't able to purchase because one of us forgot our ID. We said we would be back shortly to make our purchases. We came back in 20 minutes at 9:07pm, to find out they had closed at 9. Not only did the employees not tell us that they would be closing before we left the store, but they refused to acknowledge us through the glass despite our purchases still being on the counter and only being there 20 minutes earlier. Excellent wine selection and decent prices. If you are one of those people who don't know which wine to buy if you're giving it as a gift, or for a particular dinner ~ then, this is the place to go. I happen to be one of those people who thought she knew quite a bit about wines. ABC on Dixie Highway has a wine consultant, Richard ~ and what I don't know about wines could fill a book! This guy is all over it. I've never had anything but smiling cashiers who are extremely helpful. The store is always clean and well lit when I've been here. You can sample wines before you buy them and it's about the best selection of Scotch and high-end Whiskey you're going to find unless you visit "The Island." (Why go there? i'm not too sure of the low ratings. i buy beer there and the prices beat walmart. the staff is friendly and helpful. there was a blond woman that was a little curt but i no longer see her there. the only reason i gave them a 4 instead of 5 is because they sometimes are out of my brands. service is 5/5, cleanliness is 5/5, organization/displays 5/5 and helpfulness 5/5. read more

The employees are very rude and not helpful. I have been a customer for 5 years. They also require me 76 yrs young to show my license when I give them a credit card. The only place I have ever shopped that required that. read more
