Went back for lunch as they are so close to the Norton Museum. The place was busy, but we had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was outstanding. They have a simple, light menu - everything is fresh and good, but go for the pastries. Today we had the keylime tart. My companion said it was better than anything she had in the keys.
Every time I'm in WP I stop here. Great quality coffee. The Thai latte is everythinggg. This past time I had the seasonal strawberry latte which was nice. Beautiful pastries in the case. I usually just stop by here to pickup, I have never sat down to eat. You can bypass the hostess and head to the counter when you arrive if you wish to do this. Just nowhere to wait for your coffee where you're not in the way. They have a front and back dining room and there's a decent amount of tables, but it's always busy. There's not really a place to quickly sit and enjoy if you aren't trying to be seated to order food food so you're probably picking up and leaving. Parking isn't fantastic, but you can find something usually. Worth the price for a quality breakfast pick me up. 8.5/10
Stayed in a BNB almost directly across from here and tried them out for breakfast one day. The help at the front desk was nice and helped us to our table all the way in the back. The front side of the store is dedicated to bakery goods and the rear has a bar though I'm not sure it's actually used as a bar alone. There's almost outdoor seating in the absolute rear which is a nice option for better days. To eat, the waiter offered an option to have the chefs special which happened to be the Bacon Egg And Gruyère cheese quiche. The breading on it was amazing and the flavor was on point. To drink I was on a bit of a chai tea binge so had and iced one on the side and I think I spoke about it all week. We went back before we left and got a ton of bakery items as well and I don't have complaints about any of them. Definitely, absolutely going back next time!
The food was good but it was not "out of this world". It needed, salt, pepper and maybe a distinct "kick" to it that I did not taste from the egg omelette. However, it was a nice pair with fruit and very healthy so I was happy to eat it. The food was nothing crazy to me though.
We visited this super cute bakery for breakfast in WPB and it was packed! Clearly this is a popular local spot. There was a wait for a table, so we decided just to go through the quick service line for coffee & pastries. We got a box of 4 croissants to try, including the apple butter croissant, egg & cheese croissant, ham & gruyere croissant, and pistachio chocolate croissant. We also ordered a cappuccino and iced horchata latte. They box the pastries up on the spot (not warmed) and give them to you right away. The coffee bar on the other hand was super backed up and our drinks took about 20-30 minutes. Since it was really cold day, no one wanted to dine outside on the patio, so they were nice enough to let us quickly enjoy our coffee & pastries at an outdoor table. My husband's capp was lukewarm. I really enjoyed the apple butter croissant. The other ones would have been much better after being warmed up. They also offer full service breakfast & lunch and the menu looks tasty, so I would give it another try and dine in.
My friend recommended we dine here for brunch and I'm so happy we did. On a Monday early afternoon, this place was very busy so reservations were needed. Upon walking in, this place seems small but it expands! Our server was such a joy! I enjoyed. French toast with crispy potatoes and a lemonade. My meal was absolutely delicious, I look forward to returning and trying a few of their baked goods.
The Hive Bakery opened in March of 2022, a block from the Norton Museum of Art. The bakery and cafe sprang from the Hive Collective, a group of design, retail, and showroom companies along South Dixie Highway. The offer free valet parking but I didn't have any trouble finding free street parking on a Saturday afternoon. After visiting the Rembrandt exhibit at the Norton I decided to walk over and treat myself to caffeinated refreshment and a sweet treat. You can order takeout as I did at the bakery counter where they have a delightful selection of made in house bread, cookies, scones, croissants, pies, bars, tarts, macaroons, donuts, and specialty cakes. If you prefer to dine in you have the choice of the tastefully appointed dining room or the sunny, covered outdoor patio. In addition to their mouth watering pastry selection they also have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu with eggs, pancakes, quiche, salad, soup, sandwiches, large plates, and sides along with beer, wine, and cocktails. After consulting with the helpful and friendly staff I left with a cappuccino, a salted chocolate chip cookie, and the cinnamon coffee cake. Everything was wonderful but that chewy, chocolate chip cookie was really something special. If you are in the area for a downtown event or a visit to the convention center or the Norton consider coming here for a snack or a meal. I look forward to returning for a dine in experience soon.
Everything here was great from sandwich to the coffee options and seating. I imagine it's more dressed up when people are dining in but for takeout it felt very expensive. Would still come back because everything was great but probably if I'm dining in only. Thanks so much!
We had a very good visit here. We had excellent service from Miles. And a satisfying lunch. The place is a bit upscale. And the menu and prices reflect that. Ambiance wise, it seems more Palm Beach than West Palm. Perfect for the "ladies that lunch" or the business folks on lunch break. There was a line of people waiting to dine here. And we were told it would be a half hour until seated. We said, okay, and took the beeper. As an afterthought, I asked about a bar, and they said there was one in the back room where seating is on a first-come first-served basis. We lucked out as two people were just leaving as we walked up. So, we sat at the bar for our lunch. Later on, Jennifer (Jessica?) came by, and we told here to take our name off the wait list. We both decided to order their cup of soup and sandwich. They had an off menu soup the day we came -- tomato soup. And we both ordered that. I got their tarragon chicken salad sandwich which came on a croissant. He got their egg salad which came on small round roll. He added a side of thin and crispy french fries. We both liked our meals. And it was enough for us. It probably wouldn't be for someone with a "hearty" appetite. If you're in the area, check them out. Expect to wait at lunch time. But hint: they also take reservations and/or check out the back bar and see if you're lucky (there is a faster turnover of seats there than at the tables). We just got a quick browse as we were walking by of all the pastries and cakes. They looked wonderful -- a bit expensive, but probably delicious. So glad we came.
My wife had the HIVE bookmarked for a while. Today we stopped in and they were busy. At the reception desk we were told there was a 30 minute wait. There is a bar in the rear portion so we decided to find a seat at the bar. We were greeted by Miles and given menus. Lots of tempting beverages and meals! We decided on the Soup and Sandwich lunch. I chose an Egg Salad sandwich and the soup of the day was a delicious Tomato soup. My sandwich was very good as well as the Tomato soup. We shared some French fries and Miles had suggested a Basil Aioli dipping sauce which was went well with fries. While we were waiting before our meal arrived, Miles let me try his Red Banana Whiskey, (Jameson and some red bananas from the chef). Miles said he had marinated the red banana and whiskey and strained the mixture. A smooth and slightly sweet flavor with a warm finish. What a pleasant lunch stop at Hive!
This place is fantastic. Stopped in a bit later in the day and the selections of baked goods was pretty much gone. I learned you have to come early to not miss out. No matter, picked up a Raspberry Pastry that was excellent, and a whole packaged Banana Bread, which was also great and moist. The place has excellent chow and great style.... classy. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDD
Came in before going to a museum for brunch and there are no regrets. The breakfast (avocado toast and breakfast sandwich) were the best my husband and I had in a very long time. The drinks were perfectly done and the cupcake at the end was fantastic. If you plan on going to the museum stop here first you won't regret it.
I came here for an early dinner on a Friday while waiting to meet up with friends at the art museum. It was quiet and there were a lot of very appealing baked goods on the display case and wall. I ordered a margarita and a vegan house-made pasta dish that was SO GOOD! I originally put this restaurant on my radar because Google told me they had a vegan cake that I was interested in trying. Unfortunately they did not have any that day, but I did walk out with a vegan sprinkle cookie instead.

Stopped in here for a sweet treat. This place was bustling on a random weekday! It is very aesthetic and has many beautiful pastries and treats to try. As I was just stopping in for something to-go, I picked out a chocolate chip cookie and a juice. The service was great, but this is a higher end type of bakery as I spent much more than i thought i would for two items. The juice and cookie were tasty but for the price point I would probably skip it next time. They also offer a sit down option if you wanted to eat lunch or i suppose breakfast. This is such a cute bakery and the service is great but I will say I didn't enjoy the breakfast or the pastries as much. The pancakes has some sort of an orange zest it was a bit too much. After a few bites the taste became overwhelming. The pastries all looked amazing but didn't taste that great. I got a banana cake. Didn't taste like banana at all. I got a lemon / coconut cake also no flavor or either. I would only return to get their croissant and the egg and cheese croissant both of these were yummy!!!! read more

Love this place ! I have gone several times. The eggs Benedict is delicious, try the lavender coffee and save room for dessert. Place is adorable with a great feel and the team is attentive (even to your purse - rack provided ) read more

Server was amazing I wish I could remember the name and overall service was great. It's popular for brunch and the food was simply ok. I saw this place recommended for their coffee and bakery which is what caught my attention. It's part of a retail chain where they sell home goods and clothing etc. which I found to be pretty neat. They also have a separate dinner menu which may be better than the brunch if I go back id give that a try. The ambiance is classy, and a clean aesthetic. Expected more from the brunch but not utterly disappointed. read more

I visited the Hive Cafe during an extended stay in west palm with family. The staff at the Hive Cafe were really great and accommodating. I came here on a busy Tuesday afternoon and they were able to find a table where I could comfortably sit with my daughter in her stroller. The cafe has comfy seating and tons of delicious bakery item options. I had their southwest Caesar salad it was pretty delicious. I'll definitely come back just for the fact that this cafe was accommodating and accessible for myself and my daughter. read more

I have been coming to this bakery for years now. I don't live in Palm Beach anymore so now I just come whenever I'm in town. Today, while I was paying for my goods, the manager started reprimanding an employee in front of everyone right by the cash register. I felt mortified for that person. I know he has worked there for a long time this blonde haired manager with glasses, humiliated him. This employee has always been helpful, kind and very efficient whenever I have visited Hive. The manager... She needs some people skills. I was shocked by her behavior. read more
Sweet Spot for a Girls' Day Out! The Hive Bakery and Cafe is such a cute little gem -- the perfect stop before our visit to the Norton Museum! At first, we were told the earliest reservation was 1:15 PM, but after calling from the museum, they kindly moved us up to 1 PM -- and even better, when we arrived around 12:30, they seated us right away. That little flexibility was really appreciated and got our afternoon off to a great start. The cafe itself is absolutely adorable -- full of charm with a selection of sweet treats, fresh breads, and other goodies to take home. It's the kind of place that just makes you want to linger a little longer. We had a variety of dishes at the table, from a fresh Greek salad to a tasty egg white wrap and a hearty Cobb salad. The coffee was delicious -- smooth, flavorful, and perfect for fueling our catch-up session. We went in hoping for a relaxing girls' Saturday afternoon, and The Hive totally delivered. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, great food -- I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! read more

Very cute place, must have a reservation it was packed when we got there. We got there are around 3pm. Apparently they only make sandwiches until they sell out. They keep them on the bar with heat on them... kind of odd (photo) So any sandwich we wanted was gone. By the time we left there was almost nothing left of the pastries. I means it's understandable to be low, but it was literally croissants and bread left. Our server had to keep going back to the bar to make sure they had the items we wanted before it sold out. Big turn off. Otherwise, the food was tasty. The prosciutto quiche was over cooked but had good flavor. I took home an orange scone home again burnt. Idk who watches this stuff but tasted ok but drier than it should be. The restaurant is so cute & our server was very nice and tried her best to get us everything off the bar. I won't go back but it's worth going for a girls brunch if you go very early in the morning WITH reservations! read more

Had a great London fog latte. I had them add lavender syrup. So good. Make sure you get the punch card for the rewards on coffee and tea. I also has the hazelnut cupcake. It was decent, not sure if it was amazing. I took it to go but the wait staff was friendly. I believe I saw a parking lot for them as well just up the street. Sometimes finding parking over there can be challenging. read more

Hive serves breakfast until four and has a full bar and that is my type of restaurant, but then they clinch the deal with excellent food, nice service and comfortable seating. The fresh challah made French Toast excellent and a good Salmon salad featured a selection of fresh fruits plus the addition of margaritas didn't hurt. I also purchased a cake and pastries from the bakery and that too was excellent with a Chocolate Chip cake with a good cake to frosting ratio that was big on flavor and not overly sweet. Hive is one of the best bakeries in Palm Beach County. read more
Came here for a brunch with a friend and had a great time. It was a bit busy so reservations would be recommended for the morning, but even though there was a slight wait, we just browsed the boutique next-door and was called for our table in no time. Our server was very attentive and we ordered based off his recommendations Which was the burger and eggs Benedict. We sat outside, which had a nice shaded area and was quite nice! read more

Very cute inside, only went in for a lemonade but it was very refreshing, and service was quick. Little pricey but it's typical around here.. over $9 for a lemonade. read more
What a pleasant brunch experience we had at Hive last weekend! It was our first time dining and certainly not our last. My friend and I visited for brunch on Saturday. We had an 11AM reservation and were seated upon arrival. The restaurant offers a great ambiance. There is lots of natural light and it is very open with both booths and tables. Scoobie was our server and she did an excellent job taking care of us. We were seated next to a lovely woman who is a regular and she provided us with a few suggestions. In the end, we mirrored her breakfast order because it looked incredible. This proved to be a solid choice because we enjoyed every morsel of our meals. One feature I enjoyed is Hive offers complimentary still and sparkling water. The ladies restroom was a single bathroom but very clean. Finally, the bakery and dessert options were mouth watering. Parking is a bit limited but valet is an option. In addition to the restaurant, there are two other buildings: a home and decor store and a clothing store for men and women. Note: These shops are upscale. I look forward to returning to Hive soon. read more
We had brunch there on a Saturday noon party of four. Brunch was served in time and hot. Beverage selection was plenty to choose from. Needless to say the service was fast and friendly. Price wise it seemed a bit too high. Place was very nice and clean. read more

Hive Bakery is easily one of my favorite spots in West Palm Beach, especially for their freshly baked sourdough bread and the chocolate chip salted cookie--both are must-tries! The bread is so good that it sells out early in the morning, so if you want a loaf, plan ahead. I recently dined in for breakfast and was seriously impressed. The atmosphere is stunning--think White Lotus vibes with a chic, airy feel. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer and soak it all in. And the food? Hands down, the best Eggs Benedict in town. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and just the right balance of flavors. On top of that, the service was extremely attentive and professional. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel special. I completely forgot to take pictures (rookie mistake), but I'll update this post when I go back--because I definitely will be back. If you're in the area and love a good bakery with an elevated breakfast experience, Hive is absolutely worth a visit! read more
