I believe that ABC Fit Studio is the best kept secret in Laguna Niguel, if you want a great Pilates Studio. It has only 6 reformers, so each class feels like a private studio lesson. All of the instructors are excellent, and the studio has a friendly and fun atmosphere. There is also a workout room for extra classes like yoga, zumba and TRX which are also amazing with experienced instructors. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing gem of a gym! The new owner, Sahar, who also happens to be my favorite instructor, has done an amazing job of freshening up the studio and given new life to the overall atmosphere. I have been going to ABC for many years and been through a lot of changes. The atmosphere has improved overnight with the new ownership, it is so clean, welcoming , calm, friendly and professional! Wonderful experience with caring (attentive to any injuries) instructors--to get fit or enhance your fitness. I can highly recommend classes with SOHAR and ALICIA-- serious workouts with lots of fun!! And the Zumba classes are par excellence! Zumba has been important to me for years and these instructors are great teachers and the dancing is exciting: LINDA, ALICIA, and JULIANNE. Wow I just joined ABC Fit Studio and absolutely love it! The reformer classes are awesome (Mary McGettigan is an amazing instructor)! The classes are challenging and with the small class size you get lots of personalized attention. I have also taken the barre class with Elizabeth (LOVE), strength, zumba, yoga....it's all included. Love the variety! They have everything sanitized for COVID-19 and adhere to all safety precautions so it is a safe place to work-out. Come try it out. You will love it!!!! read more

The classes are hit and miss with wearing masks and social distancing . The manager Juliane says they are trying to keep the buisness from going under ,but masks are not being enforced anymore with sign at the door says to wear it is only a side show . Some clients wearing the mask under their nose . Best teachers are Charlotte , Meaghan and Jodi . I wish all the teachers enforced masks when I'm close proximity in fitness room or less than 6 ft apart ,as a lot of us are auto immune or seniors . I guess the money of the non mask wearers trump us sick babies seeking safety first . So few times drove to class after scheduling more than a week in advance to reserve my spot and walk in on classes with only the teacher and i wearing a mask or on my last class with yoga with Ms Wisdom that NO one had a mask on, but me . She had to make a comment about it also at the end saying we should breathe in peace and love which was great until she started going on about letting out the terror and fear about masks and be loving people of acceptance etc when I was the ONLY PERSON WEARING A MASK. Seems to me that this Buisness is simply for republicans and as I'm Canadian I'm not either party here and would like to be treated like a decent human being . I would like to let people know I'm A healer and as such I am a loving individual and I don't appreciate assumptions about who I am because I wear a mask . Also I have 5 state of California Dental Licenses for 26 years and my mother was a dentist . We know very well about infection control and blood borne pathogens . Now about being a loving person maybe they should be loving by marking on their "Mind Body" app schedule what classes are "must wear mask" or no mask class ,so we don't drive there and waste our time for nothing as that is not loving to us . It's also not loving to judge someone else when it's mandatory to social distance and wear mask in indoor groups of classes even in physical Therapy from the health department. Loving is that I wear a mask to protect you from my breathe and spit mist ladies . So what is the person that refuses to have protective gear during a pandemic ? Maybe just maybe it's selfish and maybe just maybe Ms. wisdom it's EGO ! Love thy neighbor as thy self ! read more

I was referred here by Rausch Physical Therapy to build core muscles to hopefully improve a degenerated and herniated lower lumbar disc. I have been attending their pilates classes 3 times per week and Booty Blast once per week for the last 10+ months. I signed up for an unlimited membership which is most cost effective and allows me the flexibility to book multiple times per week. Juliann, the manager, is very welcoming and gave me hope that the classes would help my back issue. I take the Restorative classes for people with injuries and they are just my speed. The teachers are so attentive to your physical issues/limitations and will make adjustments to suit you. I cant say enough good things about the teachers here. Alicia, Megan, Dana and Charlotte all have very different teaching styles but are all amazing! An extra shout out to Dana who has been my favorite pilates teacher. She has a calm, friendly demeanor and is always looking out for my physical issues to ensure I don't injure myself. Alicia's booty blast class is fun, fast paced and gives me an amazing glute workout (in just 30 minutes) without putting stress on my back. If you are suffering from an injury but want to remain physically active, these ladies will help you to achieve that. read more

I love this Pilates Studio. It's not only Pilates. Many other amazing classes. It is very clean, we sanitize after each class, everyone wears masks the whole time and we are all 6ft apart so I feel completely safe. Julianne and Mary are great instructors. Taking Valli Gideons' strength & Flexibity classes are the perfect way to fine tune muscles & add cardio to balance my quest to stay strong. She is motivating & has eyes behind her head because she can lead the class & make students adjust so they use right form & avoid injury. She takes the time to know each students limitations & will modify the exercise so that we can still achieve results. Great pilates instructors, very clean and safe environment

I walked into this studio 28 weeks pregnant with a spinal fusion, shoulder injury, sprained ankle, and sciatic pain that had me on and off crutches. I was put on 'restricted activity' my entire first trimester so on top of the structural challenges, I was really out of shape. I tried the fitness classes at the local YMCA but the class-size is huge and with my injuries and rapidly growing baby bump, it just wasn't working out. I'm now 38+ weeks and, thanks to ABC, I'm in the best shape of my pregnancy and feel fantastic. The teachers are extremely knowledgable about injuries and attentive to prenatal modifications. Several are practicing physical therapists. This place is well worth the money (especially if you're anything less than a perfect belly button model lol). I am soooo grateful to have learned about this place!! read more

I highly recommend ABC Pilates. There are conscientious instructors who know what they're doing and can help their clients achieve their fitness goals! If you've been wanting to try pilates or want to add it to your current fitness routine, these are THE folks to show you how. What prompted my review was the nonsensical one-star review! OMG! Gimme a break! You were completely satisfied with your classes and were given a refund on something that you clearly knew there were no refunds given, and you're upset that you couldn't reach the owner while she was on VACATION?! Are you reachable on vacation??? What would you have her do if there is NO PROTOCOL for dealing with such situations? Why didn't you CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE adding this to your exercise routine? Did you think those disclaimers didn't apply to you? They offer a variety of sessions, in addition to Zumba: Pilates, Yoga, Barre. Did your doctor nix all forms of exercise? LIGHTEN UP, PRINCESS. I've been to a few Pilates studios around LA and orange county and I've even tried the SLT pilates in New York but this place is definitely my favorite! Everyone is so nice and friendly here! :) The first time I met Amy and she was so positive and welcoming I knew this was the ideal place for me. I've taken classes with Amy, Katherine, Julianne and Noreen so far and they are all great and caring teachers. And the classes are super fun and dynamic! I've been pleasantly surprised about how much fun my Pilates classes are. I have a reformer at home, which I use but it does get a little boring so taking a class a least once a week spices things up. I'm new to ABC Pilates but have been going to Rausch for a few months now and after observing some of the classes, I thought this is the trick to keep my interest up and maintain my back. Julianne is a wonderful teacher, every class is new and inventive and challenges me to push to a higher level. She really cares about who and what she is teaching and it shows. Bravo!!! I have been attending classes at ABC Pilates for over a year now, and I am loving it! The instructrs are very knowledgeable about the body and help you with certain exercises when you want to focus on certain muscles. I am currently pregnant with my second child and have been taking the Pilates-Barre classes. They are perfect for me at this time, as they focus on all the muscle groups I can work on, without jeopardizing my baby bump. I joined ABC Pilates 3.5 years ago to get in shape for my wedding and have been taking classes there ever since. Two years ago, when I got pregnant , I was able to take their Pre & Post Natal classes, which were amazing. Because of ABC Pilates, I was able to keep in shape during my pregnancy and quickly return to my pre-baby weight. All the instructors are so nice and up to date on the latest techniques. ABC Pilates has it all. Reformer. TRX. Exo Chair. Spring Board. The instructors are constantly changing it up so you never get bored of the same old exercises. First I would love say that this is an amazing place to workout. The TRX, Balance & Core, and Group Equipment classes are one of my favorites. The entire place has the type of environment that motivates me to work my hardest. I'm so in love with the place that I drive 30 minutes 5-6 days a week to come here and it doesn't even feel like a chore. The instructors are all amazing, but I definitely need to highlight my favorite trainer, Mary. Her class is quick but my whole body feels sore after, and I love every second of it. She has a wonderful attitude and knows how to make you enjoy your workout. It's no wonder why all her classes have waitlists. You better book her class ahead of time. read more

Yeah! I found a new Pilates studio! After joining Bonne Vie Fitness last year, I was just getting into Pilates and then the studio did a disappearing act along with my prepaid sessions! So I did a little research and came across ABC Pilates. Now this is a true Pilates studio where they live and breathe Pilates. They offer both reformer and mat classes and there are many classes offered all day and evening long so your options are plentiful. They suggested I do a private session to see where I was in my practice and luckily I passed the test to move into the group sessions right away. I've been going to group reformer classes for about a month now (2-3 times a week) with the owner, Amy Cady and I LOVE it! Amy is both fun and sweet (with her Southern hospitality) and always mixes up the workouts so you're never doing the same routine. I've also had a few other instructors and while each has their own style, all are wonderful! I can't wait to get to the 30+classes completion to see how much my body changes (a famous quote by Joseph Pilates), but will continue to take classes at ABC as long as I can afford to. For all of you pregnant women: pre and post natal is ABC's specialty! And they even have Mommy and Me classes. read more

I absolutely LOVE ABC Pilates. I have been going to ABC Pilates for 2 years now. The staff is amazing and I have noticed a huge difference in my muscle tone and strength. I also love the people that go there. Everyone is so friendly and it is always a positive experience. It makes such a difference in my day when I am able to go and take a class for an hour and have that time to just unwind and focus on me. Bethany has really helped me on my form and improving my workouts. Julianne is really good about asking what classes we love or what she would like us to add, she always makes sure that everyone is happy with their experience there. Julianne was great as a zumba instructor......2 weeks later when I had to cancel the classes I had prepaid for it was a nightmare. I literally chased down the owner, Amy to obtain my refund. Due to a Dr.'s request to stop the zumba I had to cancel 2 sessions into my 15 prepaid sessions. It ended up fine, with the refund finally given to me, but only after repeated phone calls and emails....most of which were not returned the first few days. Pay as you go ????....... read more

I started taking classes at ABC Pilates about 3 weeks ago and I have been so pleased. The owner Amy, is very kind, and I have had private lessons from both Katherine and Julianne who are both really fun but also pushed me to work my hardest. Now I have moved on to taking the group classes which have been tough for me - but in the best way. It has only been 3 weeks but I can already see and feel a difference in my body. I have been attending ABC PILATES for a month now and am very pleased with the restorative PILATES/yoga classes. The instructors are nice and knowledgeable and make the classes fun. The center is very warm and inviting. Julianne taught me the correct form/posture to keep my body in alignment so as to prevent injuries. I never feel rushed. All the instructors take their time to get to know you and what you are capable of.
