We've been in search for a new preschool for my daughter and found this on yelp with great reviews. My husband did virtual tour with Crystal and she was great at that time. We've been on their waitlist since August 2022. My husband an I called them for an update here and there and they started treating us unpleasant after making a few calls for an update. I called them again beginning of December 2022 to let them know that we are moving next year 2023 since we are a military family and hoping for an update of where my daughter stands in their waitlist. Crystal called me the next day to let me know they apparently have an opening for my daughter (right away?? glad I called). However, due to the increasing number of RSV and flu cases at that time, my husband and I decided to give my daughter's spot to the next kid for now but we'll take the next one since we're supposed to be next in line anyway and they were okay with it. Moving forward to today MID -FEBRUARY 2023 already still no update nor anything. If my daughter is already next in their waitlist I don't think the wait should be this long. I guess we just paid $80 (nonrefundable) for a reservation for nothing! I cant speak for the education and care provided to children as my daughter didnt even get to attend this school. However, my husband and I didnt appreciate how we were treated whenever we call for an update here and there by Crystal. She was just nice at the beginning with us. read more

My little one attended this school for many years , I was always very pleased with their attention to his needs. Very caring, professional staff. Awesome environment- clean , bright& cheerful . Huge variety of toys educational &fun. Home cooked Meals ( breakfast , lunch &snacks); Outdoor play equipment excellent ,they have just about everything bikes ,scooters , sandbox. I cannot say enough good things about this school! The teachers are so caring, patient and knowledgeable. I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, so I knew exactly what to look for in a preschool when I wanted to enroll my daughter in a program, and this school checks all my boxes and more. They have wonderful developmentally appropriate activities for the children every day, have a low child-teacher ratio and the classrooms are huge, clean, and perfectly arranged for young children. During the pandemic my husband did not work for over a year and we could not pay for preschool but the directors provided us with resources so that our daughter could still attend. Some of the teachers are bilingual and when my daughter told them she wanted to learn Spanish, they started teaching her. I also appreciate how careful they have been during the pandemic. I noticed that they have not had any COVID cases with staff or students, unlike most of the other preschool programs in the area. ABC kids is hands down the best preschool in Oxnard! Kids feel a sense of pride to see their pictures and work throughout the center. The classrooms are equipoed with the necessary equipment to make the kids stay a pleasant experience. Food: Students are aerved nutritious food daily. Prens are made aware daily if students are eating regularly. Types of food provided: Fruits, vegetables, milk, juice water, crackers, sandwiches Staff: Wow, the staff is amazing! My wife and I made the best decision when we decided to enroll our toddler to ABC. The staff treat each kid as one of their own. From hugging them, to singing with them, helping them take naps. My son just spent the past year and a half attending this school and he absolutely loved it there! The place is clean and organized. There are three different rooms for three different age groups. There's a back outdoor play ground with over cover for hotter days. They're attached to the boys and girls club so they spend rainy days in their gym for playtime. The teachers have been the absolute sweetest to my boy and the front desk is always helpful and easily accessible for any questions/concerns/comments. My triplets have attended this preschool for 2 and 1/2 years. There are not enough words to explain how happy I am with choosing this preschool for them. Every teacher there, is kind and loving and makes every effort to connect with you as a parent, and keep you informed of your child's progress. They talk with you about your child's morning at drop off, just to be aware of anything that might set the tone for their day, and they talk with you at pick up. The director Crystal is one of the best I have experienced. She has made this experience not of for my children but also for me, easy and enjoyable. My children have just days left here before they transition on to kindergarten, and I am excited for the next chapter of their lives, but sad to leave this school. Hello there my children attend the ABC kids in fillmore and absolutely love it. Staff has always been very nice and comforting to all children and parents. They also take extra measures to ensure there facilities are totally clean, sterilized and disinfected throughout. I'm giving this 0 stars because the facility started off great and then the director quit, 3 teachers quit, and the level of learning and progress went to a dead hault. My son has actually regressed being at this school and this is just pre-k. He went into this school learning to read, recognizing his letters and numbers and after a year here in the midst of the crap management and teacher changes he can't even draw a circle. Parent teacher check ins never happen on time and when they do the teachers do not appreciate questions and they do not go over any work from the child. My son's teacher expected to sit for 2 minutes and tell me she thinks he's ready for kindergarten and was baffled by my request to see his work and my questions as to why he is no longer at the learning level from when he started. If u want a daycare this place is fine but if u want a preschool education and preparation for kindergarten please go somewhere else. read more
