Being naïve, I kept going back to this company. A week later, Surprise! My blower motor went out again on my AC unit. I yet again called them, they essentially told me they don't have time for me and they are focusing on warranty work only at this time and my 1 year warranty expired. They told me to find someone else to do the work. I found a great company called Peak Home Performance that does what they do. Jeff the Service Rep went through the whole system and gave me a report saying they installed most of the AC and Furnace incorrectly. He asked to see the report that Golden heating has performed when they fixed the blower motor the last two times. "Well guess what, they do not provide this to you". I told him they didn't give me anything. He then told me I should go back to the company that did this install as Golden should stand by this work and cover the labor as my 2 year old unit is covered under warranty. Well I called them and I think their only customer service reps name is Lisa? Anyways she told me they can't do anything because I'm out of warranty. She said that I should have told them about the installation being installed wrong so they could have fixed it under warranty. If you are following. I am at this point like "WTF"? I'm not a technical person at all. I have no idea what I'm looking at or know if it is correct. I'm assuming you installed it correctly. Anyways, I ended the conversation friendly and called Peak Home Performance to come and fix Goldens mistake. $2,700 later. My AC unit is working better than it has have been before! They spent 2 days looking at it and replacing parts before eventually telling me I needed to replace the whole unit. Got a second opinion from from 1st Call this year. Bill came over and fixed it, I kid you not, in less than 10 minutes. He also showed me what to look for and how to fix it myself incase it acts up again. I won't go anywhere else.
