Absolutely professional service - and by far the best pricing - for the electrical work on my new hot tub. I was skeptical about the company given they don't have as many reviews on Yelp but am so glad I went with them. Jess has 10+ years doing certified electrical work on residential and light commercial work and it shows. I had researched the work involved and he knew and applied the latest 2020 NEC electrical codes; like how many turns on the conduit can be done before a pullout, and the right wiring to use given the distance. He ran 120 feet of metal conduit with multiple bends around my house and you could just see from the speed and quality of the workmanship his experience. Did I mention that his pricing was 1/2 of some $$$ bids I got on Yelp ( and matched what national standards are for this work )? There is a lot of price gouging going on by well rated businesses that service Boulder. To get the right price and have quality work done by McCarrick was great - I will use him in the future for other electrical work around my house. read more

Omar from McCarrick is the best! The company I lease from chose McCarrick Electric as the vendor for a maintenance request that was initially thought to be faulty wiring with all of the lighting in our rental home. After the company, Invitation Homes, and their maintenance techs couldn't figure out the issue, they reached out to McCarrick. Omar came out the first time and did some troubleshooting. He opted to suggest a complete replacement of all light bulbs in the home as over 50% of them had gone out or started flickering within the first year of us being in the home. Turns out the bulbs that Invitation Homes put in were cheap and old. Of course, Invitation Homes gave McCarrick trouble when they submitted the recommended solution (replacing all bulbs), and even denied the request the first time around. The good folks at McCarrick reworked the order until it got approved and even paid for some of the bulbs out of their own funds. During all of our encounters, Omar was helpful in explaining all of the different possibilities to me and he was very professional and even apologetic on the last visit, though none of the issues were his fault. While my leasing company is hot garbage, McCarrick Electric and Omar ROCK! 10/10 recommend! read more

Mccarrick Electric - my new ceiling fan - Electricians Near Me - Commerce City, Colorado

TL;DR Straight forward electrical company for those that know what they need and need a straight forward estimate I needed to get the proper wiring for my hot tub. This shouldn't have been hard, but most of the companies that I contacted kept giving me the run around about only providing a estimate with non refundable fees, as they usually only had dispatchers to speak with that had no actual electrical training. Mccarrick was much different as they were able to take pictures that I provided and give me an estimate and schedule a time to actually complete the job. The electrician and his apprentice were very knowledgeable and were able to finish the job in about a half-day while working around my daytime job schedule. The price was reasonable and o was able to put with a credit card. read more

We were having a problem with our smoke detectors. They kept beeping the low battery alert but no matter what we did we could not get it to stop. We called our home warranty who hooked us up with McCarrick and we were set up with an appointment for Friday 2 days away. When I called up McCarrick directly and spoke to Jess I explained that how were we supposed to sleep for two days with this constant beeping. He came right over even though it was around dinner time. It took about an hour to figure it out. (Who in the world would think something plugged into the wall needed a battery??)I was so thankful he came out and fixed it. I had been listening to this beeping for 8 hours and was at my wits end. I would highly suggest these guys! read more

I had my unfinished basement wired and fixtures installed and Jess did a great job. I also had a problem with my exterior electrical box burning wires and Jess came to my house at 10pm to make sure my electrical box was secured and my family was safe. He is a wonderful person and a great electrician and his prices have always been reasonable. read more
