Consequently, I was looking for a new company for repairs of our pool equitment and called ABC where I was given an appointment shortly. Robert came and examined our pool set up. This Tech. has a tremendous knowledge with a great personality which makes it a wonderful combination! He repaired what needed to be repaired and asked me to keep him posted to make sure everything was runing fine. Thursday morning, I reached out to ABC for spa jet motor replacement. ABC contacted me quickly. I was on schedule for the next day, today Friday. Job done by early afternoon. Cost was appropriate for level of professionalism and end work product. Very respectful repair tech. I highly recommend and will be using again in future when needed. Thank you ABC! Also they told me price up front that would be max. They said they were going to try to see if alternate fix would work first; a simple motor component replacement. This would have been cheaper. Contacted ABC Pool Services due to a small leak at the hose bib on my pool pump. Spenser responded to my inquiry very quickly and got me on the schedule (right before the holidays). Spenser diagnosed the leak and was able to replace the part and install during the same service call. He also took the time to look at my pool pump schedules and program his recommendations. What I thought was a nice touch, was the email with pictures displaying the work that was completed at the end of the service call. ABC Pool Services has been taking care of my pool since day one of it being filled and I have nothing but praise for them. My pool is always clean, the chemicals are balanced, and my filter and equipment are well looked after. I like the weekly pictures and updates, because without them I wouldn't know they were there (other than a sparkling pool) the technicians work swiftly and silently early in the morning. After reading many reviews and even trying to see if I could learn how to maintain it by myself, I decided, hiring someone was the way I needed to go. Spenser is the owner. He was very patient and helpful and answered all of our questions. He provided expert advice and he has been very upfront and transparent with pricing and expectations. He commissioned James to be our pool tech. James, is kind, reliable and takes good care of our pool. He is also helpful as one day I had many questions. It's so nice to know I can let someone else be the expert in something and I don't have to pick up a new skill. They also provide scheduled maintenance for the filter and pool draining, as needed. Let me start by saying I have been a customer of Spencer's for over 4 years and never questioned any of the services or prices quoted. He changed my pool pump and system and yes the price was steep, the higher end of what I expected but he provided a service and I was the customer. Today I made my first complainr. The service today was subpar as my pool was full of debris just an hour after the service, how can this be? His employee sent a photo and the pool looked good. I then took a photo at the angle his employee took the photo and guess what, you can't see the debris. I sent a message voicing my displeasure and told him if his service has dropped to this level, why wouldn't I just clean it myself. spencer called me and was extremely offended that his employee was questioned. He demonstrated that he is very thin skinned and sensitive. Instead of trying to understand what the short comings of the service was to a reliable customer which is usually in good business models, he decided to ridicule me, continuously in the conversation . I am just happy that this sensitive young man was not in the USMC during Desert Storm with me. This is an excelent company as long as you don't question them. read more
