17 years ago we had our roof replaced. We have never had any issues/leaks anything. When we had a bad storm about 2 weeks ago a huge tree broke and multiple branches hit the roof damaging multiple tiles & one of our air vents. I called ABC because I knew they were reliable. I called and scheduled an appointment for someone to come look at my roof. I was ready for a huge bill. We were assigned Cesar. Prior to his arrival I received an email with his photo. Cesar called to let me know he was on his way. He went up on the roof - straightened the vent and told me it wasn't as bad as it looks. I received the quote on the spot and via email and I told him I was good to go. Cesar told me ABC would be in touch to schedule. The team came the following day and fixed the room in a few hours. Since the repair, we have had some heavy rains and we have had no leaks. Billing: I received an invoice a few days later and I was able to pay online. Our neighbor across the street recommended them after she did all the research on them before she used them. We ended up doing two roofs, our house and my wife's mother's townhouse. Both before hurricane Wilma. The townhouse, we recently sold it. My mother in law never bothered to fix the ceiling in the bedroom, and the people that were going to buy it had an inspection, and the inspector kept telling us there was a leak. To help get the price down. NOPE! It poured rain for two days after the inspection. Guess what? NOT, one drop of water. No leaks anywhere. ABC also put the roof on our home just before hurricane Wilma hit us. The tile we wanted was back ordered. It took about three to get it, and we had to wait because so many people needed repairs from the storm. When they finally did the tile, they did a nice job. Though the whole process, they kept everything clean, no dumpster, and they hauled off all the every day. Seventeen years later. We had a really bad storm come through. The associations trees in the back that were not properly trimmed, and the storm ripped them apart in big peice, leaving them all over the roof. My neighbor went up there, through down the branches, and took pictures of the damage. At first, we were not sure who to call. I said to my wife, "Let's call ABC." They sent someone out to us Monday after we called. After his inspection, he says it looks worse than it is. Only tile damage and a bent exaust vent. Not knowing that his company was the one who put the roof on, says, the roof, it self looks great. He figured we should easily get ten more years from it. That's when we told him it's one of their roofs. They sent the guys the next day. We were not expecting that. $900, they did it so fast it took them about thee days to get the bill ready and my wife was able to pay it over the phone. The worse roofing company there is. I have spent $50k and after 7 months we noticed a strong odor in one of the rooms. There was a water leak in the top corner of the room. I called a mold specialist company to inspect and after running a few tests and then sending them out, the test has revealed mold. They mold company had to take some portion of the drywall out and did there repair. I had to hire a paint company that had to take care of the knockdown and drywall along with the crown molding. ABC roofing had to come out on 3 different occasions to take care of the leak, the leaks still appeared and after they finally did a leak test they repaired the leak. I submitted the repair bills to the manager Hannah and she refused to reimburse me. I then explained to her that I have no choice but to hire an attorney and her response was bring it on. I purchased a house that they did a complete roof replacement for the previous owners in 2019. When I requested information on warranty they provided me a copy of the original paid invoice with my name as the new owner. They explained I had a transferable warranty which had many more years. I was impressed that they stood behind their work so well. I also requested they have someone look to see if there was damage from flying shingles that came from a neighbors roof in a windstorm we just had, non-warranty of course. The person they sent was named Cesar Lacayo inspected the roof and found no issues, took pictures for me to see there was no issues. He also made a suggestion to have someone look at sealing the AC runner at the top since he could see it when he was up there and it was open. I've never been so unhappy and stressed about a job that I paid in full. My flat roof was replaced by this company a week later we had rain and now my whole dining room is ruined. Ceiling, fixtures, flooring are all water damage. Told them the issue they said it was a coincidence because the company feels they are not at fault. After I let them know and showed pictures of the home I purchased just in July that I hadn't had not one problem before they touched it. I got the inspector to come out that inspected my roof for my purchase and he assured me that this was the fault of the company not tucking my flat roof under my other roof when completed. Mistakenly, because they HAD great reviews, I contracted with them, September 29, 2017, to fix my roof chimney and the area around it, damaged by Irma. Two crews showed up two Thursdays to begin the work and that was the last time I heard from them. It has been 4 WEEKS calling them and getting promises of calls back that never happened, and still my chimney is not completed. On last week's call, Stephanie said they will be here Monday November 27; they didn't show up or called back. Lesson learned; Never again. UPDATE 1/18/18: They finally came back in December and January/18-three times-the first time they put red shingles on my brown roof, the second time he did nothing, the third time they changed the shingles for brown ones but left a long line without overlapping the shingles and with just tar? in it. Beyond awful company keep away, spent nearly $15,000 to replace our roof and they did work that is shoddy at best. The ceiling in our bedroom is literally falling down around us as they put in beams on top of our old beams which are warped, instead of telling us whilst they were installing the roof so we could get the repairs done, they just attached the beams with no weight baring cross beams and put on the roof, It took them a total of 4 months to finish the roof and they put a lien on our house when we questioned the problems we were having. There was debris all over our yard i am still finding nails and trash left over from them. We now we have to pay $$$$ to repair the damage and this will most likely void their crappy warranty. ABC Roofing had originally provided my older shingle roof with barrel tiles in the year 2000 after it developed numerous leaks and recently provided repairs last June 2022 when there were some new leaks due to the age of the roof. They were quick to come out to provide an estimate that was fair for the work involved and also were able to schedule the repairs almost immediately as we were in Florida's rainy season. Within the last 3 weeks another leak developed over the garage portion of my roof as a result of the ferocious downpour that befell Southeast Florida and when I called ABC they quickly added me to their schedule and provided repair so that I would not incur any additional damage from the persistent rainfall that had caused so much misery, roof damage and disastrous flooding in neighborhoods throughout the SE Florida area. I cannot thank them enough for their fair and affordable estimate as well as their commitment to getting the job done in a timely manner. Their estimate was considerably lower than other competitively priced roofers and they did not try to pad their estimate if they had to supply additional materials for the repair as other highly rated YELP roofers had tried to do. ABC did a wonderful job on the roof. I was shocked by the final appearance of the eave around the border of the roof. My original eave was brown, sitting between brown tile and brown wood trim. The new eave was galvanized SILVER in color! I thought it wasn't finished and would be painted brown. ABC roofing corp is horrid. I signed a contract with them on 7/21/17 and the job on my 1300 sq ft shingle roof and it is still not complete. The fascia on the right side of the building has not been replaced and painted, the hole in the upper right corner has been filled but stucco needs to be added to this side of the home and the other side. there are also drips all around the building and I keep finding pieces of debris. This house should have been completed months ago. The initial paper work was signed in mid-july. On August 25th I sent an email to Peter Marino that I will be out of the country for 2 weeks and I left a contact person for Peter to call that had signed checks. nothing was started until the first week in October and Peter said to just keep the check and pay at the end because it will only take 3 days. October 5th if failed inspection and peter apologized. It failed inspection again on October 19th. Peter has not returned my calls from Oct 14, 18th, and 19th. I also called the main number to ABC roofing and left messages. no one returned my calls, I Proactively called on 10/20 and spoke to Stephanie. I also attempted to refer business to you and had not heard a word. That email to is in this chain, I was assured on 10/20 the roof would be completed the week of 10/23. I received a call on 10/25 at 10 am stating the roof was complete. we made arrangements inspect the roof, sign paperwork, and final payment for a finished roof on 10/27. 10am on 10/27 Joe & Joe show up and the roof is no completed and there is debris around the property. ABC Roofing services are incomplete and unprofessional. They gave me a 5 year warranty on my patio flat roof back in September. They advised that an application of gaco would repair the issue and it came with a 5 year warranty. The roof leaked on the next rain, they came out and applied another coat of gaco. The roof leaked again on the next rain. This happened over and over again, and trying to resolve the issue with Stephanie proved to be very challenging. This company really has no idea of the word empathy, just very rude and condescending words and tones. The wait times between repairs was getting longer, so I filed a dispute with my credit card company to refund payment. They came out immediately and we thought the problem was resolved until the next hard rain. Unfortunately not. Fast forward to November 29th, our roof is still leaking and has gotten worse. The whole ceiling is starting to droop on that side and all the plaster is cracking and falling. We called ABC again and they said they would come out again. (This is their 6th trip back for the same repair since my first complaint.) Over a week went by. No call. No show. I called back and threaten to place another dispute as this seems to get them to pay attention and we were told that we would get an appointment the next day. This whole ordeal has been very time consuming and frustrating. Long Story short - Never do business with ABC Roofing. I swear this one of the worse experiences I have ever had with a well known company.
