This ABC Store is the most glamorous ABC Store in the world. The lights. The spectacle. All luring you in to buy those Hello Kitty "Welcome to Las Vegas" keychains, those glitter-gilded poker chip magnets, those Hawaiian Host macadamia nut chocolates, those beach towels, those boobie-shaped nipple-out coffee mugs, those "Grandpa's Butts" ashtrays, those $1 bottles of waters, those tall boy beer can koozies, and those real used official casino dice. I didn't buy all of that. But I definitely looked at all of that. Convenient snacks and drinks. Knick knacks galore. And a flashy sign. Perfect. read more

What can I say if you ever gone to Hawaii you see this store all over. This one is no different other than it being in downtown Las Vegas across the Vegas Club and next to the Golden Gate Casino. I was SO happy (and surprised!) to find an ABC store on the "Fremont Experience" strip. My sister went to Hawai'i last spring and got me a cute phone charmy thing and I was excited to get another one from here. It's basically a convenience store + tourist trap. It's handy for grabbing hotel snacks and such. Why would I pay $3.95 for a water bottle when I get a $2.00 gallon from here? Duh. Also, since it's a Hawai'i based chain, they have non-standard convenience store snacks: dried mangos, dried plums (*drool*) and dried plum powder. Um, whoa. read more

I saw the ABC Store on Fremont Street and immediately exclaimed "yay!" ABC Stores are everywhere in Hawaii, and they have a great merchandise mix of souvenirs, booze, candy, and personal care products that you forgot to pack. I picked up a big bottle of Svedka here for around $20, along with a bottle of Maui Babe Browning Lotion, something I'd also bought in Maui years ago when I visited. It smells great and while I don't necessarily tan, it has a slight tint that evens skin tone. As other Yelpers have mentioned, it's a GREAT idea to check here for the items you need, rather than buying them from the hotel. It's not quite as inexpensive as a place like Target, it's closer to the prices you're used to paying! read more

There is a joke in Hawaii that ABC stands for All Blocks Covered. It's true. Every block you come across in Waikiki, you are bound to find an ABC store for your sundry and souvenir needs. Although ABC stores are not as abundant in Las Vegas as they are in Hawaii, it resembles the Hawaii stores and even sells chocolate covered macadamia nuts. It is moderately priced and this is my go to store to purchase my Hello Kitty x Las Vegas souvenirs. They have HK x LV key chains, cell phone charms, note pads, shirts, etc. Very cute! A welcome place to grab badly need items while downtown. Water bottles were going for $1 and quenched my thirst, and later on in the night it was a good place to grab a couple of cans of beer and they provided me with a drinking cup for them. It's not open 24 hours but it is open late. read more

Love this Hawaiian convenience store, they are all over Hawaii and like 5 in Las Vegas. It is equivalent to a 7 Eleven convenience store but with Hawaiian stuff like snacks, Maui potato chips, macadamia nuts, caramacs, kona coffee, pikaki and plumeria soaps and scents, clothes, hawaiian trinkets. I've visited several ABC stores in my years but I think this is one of the nicest and most extensive yet! It is located right next to all of the hotels on Fremont Street in downtown Vegas. They have a great selection of super touristy Vegas souvenirs. We stopped in for some drinks to bring back to our hotel room. Prices were very reasonable and comparable to a grocery store. Pretty good deal if you want to drink and snack in your room while you're visiting Vegas. They have just about everything you need for a pleasant visit to Vegas - souvenirs, drinks, food, toiletries, chap stick, bananas, glitter mugs, champagne, salsa, nail polish, you name it! My recent Vegas experience was memorable, but not only for the partying - also for the kindness of the staff there, and at ABC especially. Beware of the young man running the cash register. He tried to steel my money. I went in to purchase some Kahlua and a pint of milk. He told me the price was a little over $22 I first placed a $20 and a $1 on the counter and realized I did not have any more $1's so I took the $1 back and placed a $5 with the $20. The male casher picked up the money and placed it on his cash register behind the counter. I picked up the alcohol to place it in the bag with the milk. He said wait, I rang that up twice, and called his boss over to void the extra scan. I waited for my change and he said I did not pay him. He thought I had been drinking and was not paying attention to what was going on. I told him step by step what happened and he pretended to look around on the floor for the money. After about 5 minutes of insisting that I paid him, he called his boss over. The boss went behind the counter and looked on the floor and said, there it is. Don't tell me that was not an intentional try to steel my money. He said the money was not on the floor and then his boss pointed it out in 5 seconds. read more
