Welcome to Walgreens on the Strip, my friends. You know whatsup coming in here. It's Vegas and you can by liquor & drink it on the streets - ish getting wild. That being said, it's not a huge Walgreens but it's always been big enough to have everything I've needed. You just sometimes won't get the variety or selection you'd love, but should be able to fulfill what you need in some capacity. For how busy this Walgreens is, it's surprisingly clean, organized, well stocked and well run. On my most recent pop in, I had to no problem finding lip gloss to get my lips back popping & some healing h20 hydration. Of all the things to forget at home. I've been to this Walgreens several times through the years and they always are good to help a girl out. I know I'll be back! read more

Everybody in town visited Walgreen's at the very same time! It was a large sized store given its downtown (Vegas strip) location. I was able to navigate the store and find my needed essentials and goodies within minutes. The line was super long for a Tuesday night but moved swiftly. Yeah, four stars is about right. Sure, it's Walgreens, a drugstore, but don't expect to get your prescription filled here; there's no pharmacy. Drugstore Items (first-aid, pain meds, etc.) comprise the smallest part of the inventory. There's a decent cosmetics section, but prices are high, because rents are high on the Strip. I was unpleasantly surprised to find many things cost more than in Hawaii! I did manage to find some sunscreen I use that had a coupon, so it was worthwhile getting that. There are also souvenirs (of course), and a good-sized selection of travel-sized personal care items and travel containers and such. The overwhelming real estate in the store is dedicated to food and drink - pre-made sandwiches and salads, cold drinks, alcohol, microwavable foods, candy, chips, some canned food, pastries, a little whole fruit, nuts, jerky - you get the idea. It was a bit humbug that my room had no fridge. Great location, accessible, and a Denny's literally upstairs. read more

Stopped in at the strip Walgreens for a few items. It was a Tuesday afternoon and many core snack items were out of stock. Establishment was well lit, very clean, and a few employees on the floor providing assistance. read more

Quality/Quantity - Sorry, I did not bother to take pictures. Easy in and out. One of the best run Walgreens that I have ever visited! Clean, organized, and fully stocked. And crazy busy, but flows extremely fast. Also safe and secure with the armed guards in front. My buddy was giving out; I guess we, well him, are getting old. He needed cough drops and WATER. See Ole Red Yelp review. Atmosphere - See above. Easy in and out. Service - 5 stars, fully stocked for everything we needed while on the LV strip. And fast and friendly service. This location is much better than the one further North in many ways. They have way fresher cigarettes too.

Very busy Walgreens but I have to say they keep the lines moving. This place is an absolute must if you want to stay hydrated and not blow up your wallet trying to have snacks handy. We stayed at the Venetian and this was the closest place to get water and other supplies. Now of course you get all walks of life in here so just be alert when you're going in and out of the store and keep your wallet safe and be aware of your surroundings. In the evenings especially, there were a lot of people who may have needed some kind of medical or emotional help hanging out around the entrance so you want to pay attention to what's going on. read more

This Walgreens has normal pricing to other Walgreens. This is a refreshing change of pace from other businesses on the strip here in Las Vegas. The staff was friendly and we were able to get relatively normal priced water for our hotel rooms. On a side note, they do have an armed security guard on the premises. The interior is your typical Walgreens. In addition to our water, we grabbed some potato chips and other snacks. All in all, I will definitely recommend here for the normal prices alone. read more

This Walgreens is right in the thick of it dead in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. It's large and well-stocked and can get insanely crowded at certain times of day or night during a rush but they keep things moving quickly and efficiently. Prices are more than fair for Vegas and seem not to be over inflated despite their location and proximity to all the expensive resorts and dining. They sell some snacks and alcohol as well as all the usual pharmacy items inside and some themed Vegas goodies like shirts, cups and magnets for super cheap prices (like $3.99). Easy visit for some essentials for us. read more

This is the best place to get some adult beverages at the most reasonable price! It's a great variety so if your looking for wine, beer or grey goose , Walgreens got you and your wallet covered! Prices made sense unlike anywhere else on the strip and you can even get some great toiletries and snacks here too ! It's very well stocked which made things great ! This is a great Walgreens. They have almost everything you might need while in Vegas. I was afraid (& warned) that it would be very expensive, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I don't think it was much, if any, more expensive than my local Walgreens in Denver. I bought some canned Vodka Sodas at the airport bc I was told cheaper than on the Strip (I guess I am naive), but it was $1 less at Walgreens for a 4 pack. Not a big deal, just sayin'. read more

If you want to save some money while in Las Vegas, then stop here. It's still a bit pricey for a Wal Greens, but better than buying stuff from the hotel. Bought some water and ran into some ratchet folks getting upset that their favorite alcohol was sold out. A fight almost broke out. No joke. Someone almost got arrested for shoplifting. Viva Las Vegas! Still, you'll save money here, just be safe. read more

A Walgreens review may seem stupid but I wanted to comment on how impressive this store really is! Well stocked with no empty spaces. Wonderfully organized and very clean. I stopped a manager and let him know. I don't think he's used to such feedback. He thanked me and went on his way. Don't misunderstand. This is a weird place with strange folk. It didn't feel all that safe, but nothing abnormal happened. One thing I have to admit and that is the price scale is one of the cheapest in Vegas. We like to load up on things like water and snacks to last us throughout our stay. 12/20 read more

OMfG. O-M-f-y-G. Ohh MY freeakin' FRO-YO GODDDddd! When you're too exhausted to journey across the strip and seek out Yogurtland. When you're too irritated to wander over to City Centre and stand in line at Pinkberry. When you are too inebriated to stumble up the endless ramp in to Miracle Mile shops for Red Mango. This mini-Walgreens in front of the Best Western... got. you. covered. Drug-store fro-yo!? Quite decent, even if two flavours weren't swirling or working. I simply cannot complain. It's wondrous this set-up even exists. (Yeah I'm easily impressed.) The main part of the store has sundries and a beer cave. The place gets crowded, and check-out line gets long but moves rapidly. Cashier was really nice. There's even a friendly, attentive security guard just inside the entrance. You know, just in case damm low-life thugs trying to steal mah fro-yo. Some of us totally have frozen yoghurt emergencies. This is my saviour. Should Walgreens remove the fro-yo machines, I may have to remove a star. For now, though... This is a smaller Walgreens with a decent variety. Employees manage to be efficient and quick even when it is crowded. Most cashiers I've come across were polite except one. I came in on March 4 and was rang up by cashier Susan. Susan could use some work on her customer service skills as she was not very polite. She did not greet me and only stared at me when it was my turn in line, and she was aggressively tapping her hand on the counter while I was paying. It seems that this employee may not be comfortable around people of a different appearance than her, it may be of use for her to receive training for her to overcome her prejudice. read more

A large, clean and well stocked Walgreens to help you get more reasonable prices for water, Gatorade, snacks, toiletries etc. They are busy but they have numerous check out lanes that audibly alert you when they become available. Definitely the place to get incidentals on the strip. read more

It's so convenient to have Walgreens around in Vegas. Since most hotels mark up prices for the same items up to 10× for the same items you can buy here, it's no brainer to walk down the strip for necessities that you forget at home or all of the sudden need when traveling. I needed a file and bandages. One of the staff showed me where everything I needed was which was great! There were plenty of cashiers and the line moved super fast. So glad that this Walgreens was on my way and I got to save money for what was needed. read more

Must be one of the busiest Walgreens in the country. Terrific location on the Las Vegas Strip. There were dozens of patrons milling about the store. Plenty more lined up to be helped at one of their many manned registers. Line went very quickly like a well oiled machine. Prices were fair considering they are located at the heart of the Strip. This place was a lifesaver when we were in town a month ago. Conveniently located on the strip by Harrah's & Casino Royale this Walgreens is always busy but fully staffed. We stopped in here several times for water, gatorade, & snacks as it was cheaper that the hotel shops ($5 gatorade vs $3 at Walgreens). They also have typical drugstore items that can come in handy when unexpectedly needed. read more

This is a small Walgreens, compared to our neighborhood store. It is between the Casino Royal and the Venetian Casino, and the upper floor is a Denny's restaurant. There is no RX here. (The is a 24 hour Walgreens RX at the Palazzo Casino about 1000 feet away). This location has over the counter medicine, souvenirs, fro-yo, food and alcohol... They have a "beer cave" that customers can walk in and get ice cold beer...bombers, 6-packs and cases. They have friendly and helpful employees and the store is open 24 hours. read more

Convenient enough for me to walk to from my hotel in Las Vegas. Nice they had my mom's cigarettes.

Frankly, I am tired of paying $15 for a cocktail at the bar when the bottle only cost $40 at Walgreens. It's still pricier than the normal Walgreens but they are located right in the middle of the strip. Would you rather pay $10 for one beer at the bar or $10 for a six pack at the store? I suggest you to do some shopping here first. They carry a great selection of beers and hard liquor. The walk-in cooler contains a huge selection of draft, import and domestic beers. Plus they have other essentials. It's convenient if you forgot something like your toothbrush or toothpaste or even a bottle of spermicidal lube it is all right there. They even have fresh fruits and a small selection of sushi. The lines can be long during the weekends and at night but they usually move quickly. read more

Clean and very brightly lit up inside. They are set up a bit differently than a neighborhood store. This one catered to the tourist needing to make make a quick pit stop for a cold beverage or something they left at home. All the travel size necessities are at eye level just as you walk through the front door. Plenty of registers open at the front for check out. Shopping was quick and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

While in Vegas, we kept ending up at this Walgreen; its located right on the Vegas Strip! I was actually impressed to see how neat the store was being that its a 24 hours location and there was so much traffic in and out. They have a huge selections of souvenir items that were actually a lot cheaper than some of the souvenir shops around the area. I was surprised to see a walk in cooler towards the back of the store with a variety of beer and wine selections. It was refreshing to find this store in the mist of Chaos. Lol The only problem I had were with the lines, they were ridiculously long and no seemed to really care. Staff was standing around watching. read more

Not only is this a great Walgreens from a location standpoint, but it has a great system. We came to the strip on a day where it was 110 degrees F and were constantly needing water. Even though you generally get price gouged on the strip, it was more about convenience and not having to wait in line at a bar somewhere to get water. We walking into Walgreens which was huge, well lit, and stocked with everything and even though there was a long line, they have a great system. One by one people were called to the cash registers to check out with their items. We only got water, but we were in and out within 5 minutes. I'm a CVS person myself. But this Walgreens store is right on the strip not far from Harrah's. They had everything we needed. Drinks, snacks, beer, souvenirs, toiletries. They carry Diet Dr Pepper! $2 for a 20 ounce but I'm not complaining. There is a Denny's located on top. The Half off box office is super close too. Store seems to always be busy (of course it's Vegas). There was a store employee at the front door greeting each customer. The check out line was long but it went quick. They had several registers (maybe 10) and many cashiers to cover. The line curves around and the computer system will tell you what register to go to. Good store great location. I'll be back for my Vegas souvenirs. read more

4 stars because a lot of prices here are normal for Walgreens, and the stuff that's inflated is only by like 50 cents. The only big difference is you don't see clearance stuff here or the $1 items they usually have like those cheese-and-pretzel-sticks packages. Plus the store always seems to be sparkling and in great order, and they get the lines worked out fast when it's crowded. So it's reliable and affordable for the Strip. A quick walk from Casino Royale or Harrahs and a reasonable walk from everything north of Flamingo / south of the Venetian. read more

My husband was wondering out loud how busy this Walgreens was compared to every other Walgreens and the nation and James came up to tell us that it was the second busiest!! I am impressed about the organization and cleanliness of this store. They have everything you will need here, from toiletries, otc meds, souveiners, sandwiches, chocos, liquors, and a lot more. Employees were very helpful, although I must agree with some yelpers that employees on the register could be a little faster and not take their sweet time ringing up the items. read more

Great location and layout to pick up must haves while on the strip. They have a walk-in beer cooler, a nice food and drink section, and all the other necessities you would expect at a Walgreens. The prices seemed normal and the checkout queue is set up to process many customers simultaneously, so while the checkout line can look intimidating, the wait is minimal. read more

We just came here while walking around to take a look for discount souvenirs, but all we found here were full-price souvenirs. Either way, we went shopping for them since they had a full aisle of it and a large selection. But no discount playing cards. The procedure to check out here is that they have a row of cashiers and one line. The transaction was processed properly as far as I could tell. read more

They have the worst cashiers and supervisors. They are not properly trained. All products are over priced for tourist. Don't bother contacting store mgr. Coronado, he backs his employees. If you want to shop go to CVS. but if you must shop at Walgreens. Download their app, chose a location other than strip, browse the weekly add. Click on items you want, it will go to your list. This store definitely caters well to the tourists on the strip with it's convenient location. Shocking I know but, we stopped in for some aspirin after our first night in Vegas and I somehow forgot to pack my hairspray. This store has an entire aisle of travel sizes of anything you may need, cold beer and travel size bottles of liquor. While waiting in line we noticed that they had some grab and go sandwiches, fruit cups and healthy/wholesome prepared food options. They also have some souvenirs like key chains, magnets, t-shirts. etc. You can probably find anything you need here and the pricing isn't too bad being on the strip. read more

This is the nicest Walgreens I've ever been to! I love the fact that they sell COLD beer, liquor and smokes! This is the cheapest place on the strip to get a twelve pack, or a flask of booze. They have a walk-in cooler that you can chill out in and grab some beer. They not only have the major brewers represented, but they have a healthy selection of craft beers, both six packs and individual beers. They have beers that I've never seen before, and with me, that's really saying something. Gotta love Vegas, where you can wander anywhere with an open container in your hand. Chances are, wherever you're from, you can't do that... Their liquor selection is good too! They have everything from 1.75L bottles to little flasks. Sweet! They have a bunch of different Vegas souvenirs that are cheaper than the gift shops in the casinos. Everything from loaded dice to Vegas socks. Gotta love it. The store was clean, and the staff was helpful. There was a long line to check out, but they have a large number of registers, so the line moves quickly. I have no idea how you'd ever park here. But if you're looking for party supplies, this is the place to go on the North end of the strip. read more

Grand Opening day when we stopped in, so there were tons of employees to help out with finding things. Shopping went fine, paid, then realized we needed a bottle opener. Found one, got back in line, started to pay, thought to ask about glass bottles on The Strip?? NOONE KNEW FOR SURE!! Seriously, THREE different managers came over to offer their thoughts & input, all comments ended with "...but I'm not positive." Isn't it YOUR JOB to know what's legal on The Strip if you're selling it?? Eventually, an employee overheard and she just happened to know from a previous experience that GLASS BOTTLES ARE PROHIBITED & will get you cited!! Thanx for that. Exchanged the bottle for a can, and left. Whew! read more
