Recently, I've had a few above average experiences, where store employees have help load my truck with pavers and concrete border, which was great customer service, but it's the exception. Wandering aisles looking for help can get frustrating, needing help in plumbing and ending up in electrical because there is no one around has caused me to leave the store more than once. Rarely will I visit Lowe's without knowing what I need and where it is, the mobile app has come in handy. Again, that's a lack of customer service, if I have to turn to my app for help. Returns have been very easy, which is nice, using my Lowe's Reward, especially if I no longer have the receipt. Self checkout is hit and miss, if there is an item that doesn't have a SKU and they need to look it up. Even if I present them with a picture of the item and stock number, they still feel the need to look it up. Policy? Maybe but my time is valuable. Overall, if you don't need sale help, the big box store is average. Go in knowing what you need and it's a good experience. Don't go in expecting knowledgable, readily available sales associates.

The inventory quantity (or location on the shelves) doesn't even remotely match the app. Many products on the shelves are broken - especially bricks, pavers, lumbar, etc. Doesn't seem like anyone monitors inventory or quality control. So unlike other Lowe's we have visited over the years. Good luck trying to find an employee willing to help. Most walk right by and won't make eye contact. Trying to reach someone by phone is even worse. Our most recent (and last!) purchasing experience was atrocious. Waited almost an hour to buy a dishwasher. Ended up purchasing it online since no one would help us (or the three other families trying to purchase appliances that afternoon). Upon delivery the dishwasher arrived damaged so the plumber had to cap our line while waiting for another to be shipped. While we waited, the cap burst, flooding our kitchen & ruining our hardwood floors. So that added a HUGE headache to get cleaned up safely and repaired - and was not handled well by Dominic or other Lowe's employees we engaged with. After THREE deliveries of consistently damaged dishwashers, (over almost two months time) we decided to purchase instead from Idlers. What a difference!! They match prices. They deliver pristine appliances transported carefully and install them with care. Their install team was incredible - truly went above & beyond and made us realize just how low the bar is at Lowe's. Save yourself major hassle by going to Idlers instead. You won't pay a penny more but they will treat you, your purchase, and your home with respect. You actually build a relationship with their sales team and want you to call them directly if any issues arise. We are so glad we found another option. Unfortunately this Lowe's is a huge NO for us. It's worth the drive to go somewhere - anywhere (!) - else.

I finished my project and ended up with many unopened boxes of the stone. I tried to return it, but they said they don't accept returns. I really wish they had told me that up front. I would have purchased less, but went with the 20% overage standard. I asked them for the reason they couldn't accept the return and they just said they don't... $400+ I'm out. Not to mention that this is good product that someone else could use. What a waste. I even asked for store credit because I'm gonna need materials in the future. But maybe I'll find another source.

Their prices were very comparable and the selection was far superior. The entire staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The yard staff (Jose) actually pulled down a new stack of lumbar that was in storage and helped me hand select (and loaded) the best lumbar possible as some of the boards in the sales area weren't quite straight. I haven't had customer service this great in years! Even if I have to pay a little extra, I'll go back here for the fantastic customer service. Well worth it!

I am so glad I did. The supply was much better and prices were way better. These guys manage their own redwood land and mill their product. You save by cutting out a middle man. Between you and I, I think they save the best cuts for their own stores. The staff was great. I just wanted to share a good find. From now on that's where Ill get my lumber. By the way they have all the sizes. The big box may have 12ft and 16 ft but Big Creek has 12'. 14', 16', 18', 20'.

Today I called again and Stephanie gave me the answer of "I didn't call you back yesterday beciase I didn't want to bother Chris " he was in a really grumpy mood. Well I'm grumpy because my counter aren't level. I was also told that if my counter weren't level they aren't responsible " if my counters weren't level they never told me , I never saw anyone check for level. I also know that professional Installers would make it level by shimming if needed. One guy came out to measure , 2 weeks later he was with a different company , two installers on the day of install were new "only days new" this isn't right. Super unprofessional, once they have your money you don't matter anymore
