Wow, I don't know who's writing these reviews but nothing positive about our experience. Started with drinks, had house margarita and honey old fashioned. If you have had an old fashioned you will be sorely disappointed. Half of drink is water, yes you heard that right. Worst I have ever been served. I would have sent back .... but we had already sent eggrolls back due to hair being in it (3rd bite in). We tabbed out and left. read more

For a place that has all these fees, they were definitely not accommodating nor exceptional. I ordered Alfredo pasta and asked to split the dish for my little ones. The response was " oh we don't do that because we don't want anyone to say we didn't split it fairly". Really, how hard is it to split a dish? Then pasta arrives in literally kid portion amount with 2 spoons. Who eats pasta with a spoon? Not to mention, food arrived for our whole table of 8 and not one single napkin or utensil set was provided. I ordered a chicken sandwich, an item clearly on the menu, but was told "we haven't made that in a while, not sure why it's still on the menu. I proceeded to order a burger, cooked medium with truffle fries. Burger arrived cooked well done and no truffle fries. When I told her my fries aren't truffle fries, her response was " okay" and walks away. The response any diner would expect is "I'm sorry about that, let me get that fixed for you or would you like me to still replace that for you". Nope, not here. My friend ordered a burger with no tomato, as waiter is handing out food, she hands it to him and says "burger with no tomato, but the tomato is visibly sandwiched in between the burger. She must not know what tomato looks like. Overall, we had 1 burger, 1 brisket taco, 1 Alfredo pasta and 2 kids soda. We paid $95 for this. Ridiculously overpriced for mediocre food and below par customer service. It was definitely a very expensive and disappointing meal. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be disappointed. read more

Food is always good here. The calamari was a huge portion and the sauce was excellent. The chicken fried steak was huge and nice and crispy. It's big enough to share. They ran out of mashed potatoes so we had to substitute for something else. The asparagus was delicious but felt like the portion was small. The Gouda Mac and cheese was very good. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Drink orders were forgotten, never refilled, one of the meals ordered in our party was never submitted. read more

When you walk in there's a gift shop with beautiful things! Tons of cute Christmas decorations for sale. We had a reservation (which I highly recommend) and were seated immediately. The service was excellent and the waitress was SO sweet. Get the southwest egg rolls they are fantastic!!!! I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a side Caesar. My boyfriend and I stayed at one of the cabins in Broken Bow, and up until our meal at Abendigo's, we were disappointed in the area's lack of diversity in restaurants and food options. However, we heard nothing but good things about this restaurant! The restaurant is beautiful, and you can't miss it! It has a ton of space, a cute shop in the entry to look around while you wait, and live music outside (along with outdoor seating)! We came in without a reservation and still didn't wait at all! Our waitress was kind, attentive, and detail-oriented, which was really great, considering that they were pretty busy. My boyfriend ordered the catfish and the gouda mac and cheese, and I ordered the salmon with a loaded baked potato and asparagus. First, I need to DOTE over the gouda mac and cheese. HOLY COW. I never eat mac and cheese, and I certainly don't order it as a side at restaurants. However, I wanted to steal my boyfriend's plate because of how good it was. He ate the entire thing, and I was able to steal a few bites of it. That might be the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted. I was wishing I had ordered that over my asparagus. My salmon was by far the best I've ever had. It was cooked PERFECTLY and was so buttery, tender, and had the most amazing flavor. The lemon butter sauce on top was to die for. My baked potato was great, and so was the asparagus. Seriously, that salmon was excellent. We will DEFINITELY be back to Abendigo's the next time we're in the area. read more

You may or may not get the reservation you made on the day you made it, I guess Yelp has been messing that up a lot. We arrived for our reservation that I made, for inside, and after we waited for them to prepare the tables, we were sat outside in the cold where we couldn't hear each other. We went out for part of a celebration and it was a bummer. The steaks had no flavor even though they were cooked correctly, it took almost as long as it did to get waters as it did good and the server was either having a real bad day or plotting how to kill everyone I'm not sure. Came based on some reviews we saw online. We tried to dine in Thursday but the wait was 1 1/2 hours so we made a reservation for Friday evening. We were promptly seated, outside which is what we requested. However, we were sat right in front of the stage where there was a live singer, so it was super loud and hard to hear. The food- BBQ nachos were good. My husband got the chicken fried steak and liked it. My son got the ribs and thought they were goodt-but did not like the sides (beans and potato salad). I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was NOT good. The sauce tasted like jarred sauce. I sent it back and they did take it off the tab. Overall, I wouldn't suggest coming. The food is pretty highly priced, which gives me the expectation that it will be fantastic, but it just isn't. read more

Our first impression was not great. The hostess was very rude and dismissive. She said the wait was 2hrs and that we would probably be seated at 9pm. We talked to some patrons who had finished eating, they said the food was mediocre and service was terrible. The patrons told us you could seat in the back, it's open seating. Very interesting that this came from a patron and not the hostess. We went back there and got a communal table. Luckily our server Madison was THE sweetest! Been coming to Hochatown for 8yrs now, but have avoided Abendigo's because it always looked so crowded. We decided to go early this time and I totally see why it's always crowded. We are from the DFW area and have struggled finding decent food up there besides Grateful Head Pizza. I got a drink from the bar, which wasn't watered down or mostly juice...it was just right and I could actually taste the alcohol.
