My son received a birthday gift from this store and I'd come to exchange it. I advised the store rep of this and she constantly asked me for a gift receipt. Again, I repeated that it was a gift. "They usually still come with a gift receipt." Lady how many times do I need to explain that it was a gift. I promise that I didn't steal it. I advised her that I was just wanting to exchange it for a 7 or an 8 as their clothes seem to be designed for a pole. The store rep informed that they only go up to a size 6 and that I could receive a store credit at it's current value for the clothes. I don't know if she just slow because I don't see how that seemed like the logical solution at all. I advised her that I would give it back to the individual to return and get a refund so that they could get their entire refund. "Yea that would be good because you need that gift receipt." I'm not sure why she felt the need to keep stressing that. I even brought it back in the Janie and Jack gift box that it was given to me in. I'd never planned to shop in this store as everything is beyond overpriced. After today's experience they never have to worry about me coming back for a future child of mine, someone else's child or anyone else.

After they performed research they agreed. I asked if they would be returning the tax they collected to other customers. She said she would bring the matter up to her manager. I believe collecting tax on items covered under the tax free week is illegal. They sold out on many items. I can't even imagine how much money they have taken from customers during this week. I sincerely hope they return other customer's tax money. 2. They do not inform you if items will be missing from your order 3. They won't return your money if the carrier they choose loses the package 4. Wow! This place is fancy! My partner was determined to come look at this mall before we went back…read morehome. She got me with the fact that they allow pets! I was hesitant, but once me and Teddy, my dog, got inside. We came across several other pet owners. That's pretty cool! Teddy and I walked the length of the mall while my partner did her shopping. This is one of those high-end malls! But they also had some very good food vendors in the hallways where I got the majority of my snacks and I even got some snacks for Teddy. I was hoping the cute little dog park on the outside would be available to us, but it didn't open until 2:00 p.m. And we were at the mall fairly early. It was a great visit because most of the employees were dog friendly! I'll definitely have to make a trip back to this mall without a dog.

Aventura Mall will always have a special place in my heart…read more Growing up in Miami Beach we often would take the S bus down to Aventura and just hang out. Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. In all honesty, I could see myself coming to Aventura often if I still lived in South Florida. I've always it made it a point to come here when I do visit and will probably continue to do so in the future.

Definitely a strong Euro concept in full effect. After hunting, I found one soft cotton shirt XXL but manufactured in Turkey which translates into "its gonna shrink".
